Harry’s P.O.V

“Harry are you picking Eleanor up with me?” Louis asks as I scrolled through my twitter timeline bored out of my mind.

“Yeah sure.” I say, jumping off of my bed and putting my shoes on before following Louis out of the hotel room.

“When does she get here?” I ask.

“About 2 o’clock.” He replies. I check the time on my phone and see it was only midday now.

“Why are you going so early?” I ask with widened eyes as we walk through the lobby, luckily we had just changed hotels so no fans had found out which hotel we were staying in at the moment.

“I need to pick something up from the jewellery shop.” Louis replies once we’re in the car. Wait is he proposing to her already? “And no I’m not proposing to her, it’s our anniversary in two days.” He adds with a slight chuckle, almost like he had read my mind.

“Oh right, well let’s go!” I give him a smile as we drive off.

“Well let’s see it then!” I nudge Louis ask we exit the shop, he had already ordered whatever was inside the small gift bag so I couldn’t see it.

“Fine, fine.” He sighs as he opens the boot door of the car and places the bag down.

My mouth drops open as he reveals a silver heart diamond pendant that looked as though it cost a fortune. On the back it has a small message engraved into it but Louis takes it away before I can read it.

“Do you think she’ll like it?” Louis asks quietly as he places it carefully back into its box.

“Of course she will.” I put my hand on his shoulder and he turns to me with a smile, “So what have you got planned for your anniversary besides the gift?” I ask once he puts the gift bag in the back on the boot and closes it.

“I was thinking of taking her for a meal.” He tells me as we both get into the car and I just nod my head as we begin to drive to the airport.

“Louis!” I hear a familiar soft voice from behind of me and Louis and we both turn around.

A big smile appears on Louis lips and his eyes shine bright as he sees his girlfriend and embraces her in a hug.

And as they hug and kiss whilst saying how much they love and missed each other I can’t help but think about Emily. I wish she was here with me right now, telling me how much she missed and loved me as I hugged her tightly never wanting to let go. I wish I could wake up to her smile every morning and spend every day with her, whether it was spent going out on a date or trip to her favourite place or even staying in to watch a movie. I knew it would be hard to have a long distance relationship most of the time but I love her and always have and I’ll make sure for both of us that it works out.

“So how have you been?” Eleanor’s voice pulls me from my thoughts of Emily and she embraces me in a hug.

“I’ve been good, you?” I reply.

“I’ve been fine, I haven’t seen you in forever.” She smiles as we pull away from one another.

“We shall have to catch up then.” I joke and I see Louis approaching us with Eleanor’s bags.

“Yep, I need to hear about this new girlfriend you have.” She smirks and I stare directly at Louis as he gives me a ‘sorry’ look but I brush it off, she was going to find out anyway.

Eleanor and Louis hold hands on the way out of the airport and continue to catch up as I trail behind, taking photos with a few fans that had somehow found out we were at the airport. The fans continue to yell things at us and as I’m taking a photo with a young girl her friend asks me a question that I don’t know how to answer.

“Harry are you dating Emily?!” She asks, loud enough for the people around us to hear. A few people begin to ask me the same thing and I know I’ll have to answer them in some way.

I remember Emily telling me on face time that she wanted everyone to know, she didn’t want me to lie about my relationship status but I didn’t want her to get hurt. I knew she was getting hate already from fans and I know if I tell everyone I’m dating her the amount of hate she receives  will multiply by a thousands.

“Harry c’mon! We need to go!” I hear Louis yell from in front of me, he’s already at the car and I silently thank him for urging me to hurry up.

I quickly say bye to the fans around me and run over to the car and jump in the back.

“Thank God you called me over.” I sigh as I put my seatbelt on so Louis can drive off before fans mob us again.

“Why what happened?” Louis asks looking into his mirror to see me.

“Fans won’t stop asking me about Emily.” I groan slightly and he just laughs.

“You’ll have to tell them sooner or later.” He tells me and it feels as though I’ve been told that by every single person I know and I agree with them. I will have to tell everyone but whenever I have the chance to I either deny it or avoid the question.

As we drive back to the hotel I promise to myself that the next time I’m asked about me and Emily I will tell them. It’s better them finding out now than later, right?

Emily’s P.O.V

I was home alone yet again, mum had taken Lillie to do the food shopping and go to my Aunties house so I knew they wouldn’t be back for a few hours and my dad was at work still. I was bored out of my mind, I had scrolled through the TV listings at least 3 times in the past ten minutes and could find nothing to watch.

I groan as I pull my phone out of my pocket and scroll through my contacts until Sophie’s name appeared on the screen and I called her.

“Hey!” Sophie yells happily into the phone.

“Hiya, what are you doing today?” I ask hoping she had no plans.

“I was planning on going into town but I have to take Katie with me.” She sighs.

“I’ll come along if you want?” I ask her, I still needed to get a bag for my last year of college, which I was dreading.

“Sure! I’ll come pick you up in about an hour.” Sophie says and I tell her that’s fine before saying bye and putting the phone down.

I get changed into skinny jeans, a t-shirt and put a jacket on over it because it looked as though it could rain. I put my hair in a side fish tail plait and do my makeup and by the time I’m done the doorbell is ringing.

“Ready?” Sophie asks and I nod, closing and locking the door behind me before getting into her car.

“So I guess you said no to Harry?” Sophie asks as we walked around the shopping centre, Sophie’s little sister gripping hold of both of our hands, swinging them back and forth.

“Yeah, I wanted to go but college is starting up again next week so I couldn’t.” I explain and she nods. Harry asked me to join him on tour with Louis’ girlfriend, Eleanor but had to tell him no.

“He’ll be back soon anyway right?” She turns to me and I shake my head.

“He’s over there for another month.” I sigh and she gives me a sympathetic look.

I know it’s going to be hard for us to keep our relationship going when we’re so far apart for such a long time but if other people can make it work we can, can’t we?
