19. Chapter 19

Finally the one week in Italy has ended and are all gathered in the air port, ready to board the plane back to America. The flight home was very quiet, I guess no one wanted to leave, they were having too much fun. When the plane landed, we all walked our separate ways heading home. Me and Logan kissed goodbye before he got into his mother's car and drove off. Now, it's just me waiting.

I walked back in, dragging the luggage behind me to get a coffee. When I was done, I waited for another half an hour but still no one came. A familiar car pulled up, why is Justin fetching me? I knew something was up.

"Justin, why are you here? I thought dad was coming" I ask him, getting into the passenger seat. "Dad had a last minute meeting with his boss, he told me to come get you" he replied driving off. The ride home was eerily quiet, there was this weird tension going on between us and I still haven't really forgiven him about what he said to mom. I turned up the radio, but it was still very quiet. "So" said Justin, trying to break the silence. I turned to look at him, giving him an questioning yet still mad look. "I just wanted to say I didn't mean to be  smoking the other day." I turned my focus back to the road, not wanting to pay attention to him. Him bringing up that subject made me more furious. "Look Bridgette, I'm also very sorry for what I said about mom, I really didn't mean it. "Are you? Because the way you answered me the other day told me otherwise. I like since mom passed, you can do anything you want, regardless of the danger."I had enough and snapped at him. "I know sis, and I'm really sorry.  I have been trying to quit it now, just give me time." "Justin, I am mad about you smoking weed. But the thing that pisses me off the most is what you said about mom. You say your sorry, and I believe you, at least I think I do. I just hope you won't say anything like that again." I looked back at him, his eyes galssy, tears threatening to fall. "I just- It's just that I lost mom, and I can't afford to loose you too" I say. "I'm so sorry Bri" he managed to choke out. "It's okay, I forgive you" I unbuckled my seat belt and gave him a hug, since we were stopped at a traffic light. "I love you sis" "I love you too brother"

*Honk-honk* Just like that our little bonding time was ruined. We drove back home, telling stories about my time in London and him about his basketball game. "Sis, can you come to my basketball game, we're in the finals and I could reallu use you support" he asked me. "Okay when is it?" "Tomorrow." "tomorrow? why are you telling me this now? you know I'm busy on Thursdays. But I'll make time for you" I say smiling.
