Separated at Birth

Ever had the feeling you were controlled? Maybe missing a piece of your life? Well London and Paris were twins that were separated at birth when there parents separated. The mother took Paris, and the dad took London. They were living miles and miles away and still didn't know about each others existence. With controlling parents setting up their life, they didn't have time for much, but they did have time for One Direction. What happens when the lads start dating the twins, bring them together, bring there life back together?

55. Final Goodbyes

Paris's POV

I took a deep breath. "Tomorrow," I confirmed. My twin nodded. I looked down at the table. I just can't think straight right now.

"You alright?" London asked me. I snapped my head up and met her eyes.

I wasn't going to lie. "No..." I paused. "I got a hangover," I mumbled. I saw London's eyes grow wide. "I went to the bar last night with Harry. I needed to clear my thoughts. I knew about you leaving for America thing," I spoke ashamedly. "I'm sorry."

"It's ok. I figured it would get to you somehow but I didn't know. I can't keep anything from you," she smiled which made me crack a smile. "But you went to a bar? With Harry? And got drunk?!" she fired questions with much astonishment. I nodded slightly. London dramatically threw herself back on her chair. "Wow."

"I know. But hey..." I smiled. "You can't blame me," I laughed. London nodded and joined me in the laughter.

"Please don't be mad," London pleaded once the laughing died down.

"Why would I be mad?"

"We finally meet each other after not even knowing each other and then I decide to leave. We haven't even spent THAT much time together. Usually people in movies spend every waking minute with each other," she rambled on.

"But this isn't the movies."

"I wish it was..." she mumbled softly. "It's not you, you know." I nodded. "It's... All this drama. I need to focus on school, you know?" I nodded again. "Trust me, this wasn't the first... or easiest... decision. I was going to stay because you and mom were here and-"

"I don't want to be the obstacle in your way. And neither would mom. We want you to do what's right for you. Don't worry about us," I calmly spoke. I had my hand on top of hers the whole time.

"Gosh..." she smiled. "Going all fortune cookie on me now?" she laughed and I soon joined in.

"I may have a hangover but I still know what's right," I smiled. London laughed. "So how about we finish our drinks then we go shopping around the square, yeah?"

London nodded.

I walked in the front door with a couple bags on my arms. Shopping was so much fun. WE both needed a little shopping. I quickly trotted up the stairs to my room and set the bags down on the bed. I checked my phone real quick and saw I had a few texts but they can wait. I shoved my phone back into my pocket and headed downstairs. I heard mom in the kitchen and made my way over there. I walked in to see my mom preparing dinner.

"Hey sweetie! How was hanging out with London?" she asked me as she began to cut up some tomato.

"Great!" I exclaimed. I walked over to the other side of the counter and sat down.

"That's good," my mother commented. I reached over the counter and grabbed a slice of tomato and put it in my mouth. My mom stopped cutting and looked up at me. "Do you want to change or anything? I invited your father and London over for dinner."

"No. I'm good," I told her. She nodded and continued to cut up tomato.

"Have you made your decision yet?" she asked. She didn't look at me, just continued to cut up tomato.

"I have..." I paused. She stopped and looked at me. "Yes."

London's POV

Today is the day. I'm leaving for America. I am so excited yet sad yet terrified. I haven't been there for more than maybe a couple weeks to a month. Niall told me Americans love the British, or Brits. I don't want to leave the lads, or my parents, or Paris. Gosh... Last night's dinner at my mom's house didn't help. We acted like a family, like how we could have been. It was so much fun! We kept joking around and everything. My dad was laughing so much that milk came out of his nose. It was gross yet extremely funny at the same time.

"London?! You ready or not?" I heard my dad yell. Thank you dad. He brought me out of my thoughts. I quickly shoved some of my last minute things into my bag and hurried down the stars, making sure not to fall in the process.

"All ready," I told my dad and set down my bags. He gave me a smile and a quick nod.

"Your mom and Paris will meet us at the airport. Your mother got called into work for a bit but she WILL be there," he reassured me. I nodded. My dad reached down and grabbed my bags and walked out the front door. I stood on the stairs waiting for him. He walked in the door after a bit. "You have guests," he told me and walked into the kitchen. I turned around and saw 5 boys standing in my doorway.

"Hey," I spoke. They all gave me and small 'hi' or nod of their head or a small wave. "Come in," I told them. They all walked in and stood awkwardly at the door. We were all silent. The silence was slowly killing me. "I'm going to miss you guys," I told them. They all looked at me and gave me small smiles. My dad then walked in.

"Come on. We will do our goodbyes at the airport. We have to get going."

"I have something for you all," I told the boys. We were currently at my gate for my plane. All the lads looked at me. I grabbed the bag that was by my dad and opened it up. I started giving the boys their gift. They all took them and opened them immediately. They took their time to admire the necklaces. Then out of nowhere, I was surrounded. "I am going to miss you guys."

"We're going to miss you too. We won't forget you," Zayn spoke. I felt the tears starting to form.

"I don't want to say goodbye," I cried to them. They hugged me tighter. Louis pulled away and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Then don't say goodbye..." he paused. I looked at him confused. "Say hello."

"Flight 724 is now boarding,"  the flight attendant said over the intercom. I looked at dad. Mom and Paris aren't here yet.

"Keep in touch alright?" Harry asked while giving me a side hug. I nodded.

"It's been a fun summer. Don't loose touch," Liam gave me a big hug. I was released and turned to Niall. He grabbed m hands and looked me in the eyes.

"This isn't goodbye. That's why none of us are saying it. We will see each other again soon. I don't want to make this emotional but we all know it already is," Niall told me. I nodded. He released my hands but then gave me a kiss.

"Alright. This may be emotional but dad is right here," my dad spoke. Niall and I pulled away quickly and blushed.

"Sorry Mr. Starr," Niall spoke. I looked down and grabbed my bags. I started walking towards the gate. I turned back around to see all the lads with smiles and my dad with the biggest one.

"LONDON!" I heard. I peered past my dad and saw my mom and sister running towards us. I dropped my bags and stood there. Paris run right to me and embraced me in a big hug.

"I will miss you. Have fun. Don't loose touch. I love you," Paris quickly told me. She was like jumping. She quickly released me and turned around. She then started walking away.

"Where you going?!" I yelled at her.

"I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM!" she yelled back and she was off. I laughed and turned to my mom.

"I love you sweetie. Have fun in America," she told me and gave me a hug. "Aren't you going to give your dad a hug?"

"We already said our farewells at home Veronica," my dad told her. She nodded and released me. I grabbed my bags and started walking to the doors again. I turned around and gave everyone one final wave and went through the doorway. I followed the hall to the plane. I looked at my ticket and found my seat. I put my bag in the overhead compartment. I noticed someone sitting next to me looking at a newspaper. I sat down and sighed.

"Sad goodbye?" the person asked. I looked over at the mystery person. It was a lady I could tell.

"Yeah. It was pretty emotional," I told her.

"Leaving family?" she asked. I mumbled a yeah. "Sibling was the worst goodbye huh?" she continued. I mumbled another yeah. "I bet your sister couldn't leave you if you tried," she commented. I looked at the mystery lady confused.

"How-" I started but the lady put the newspaper down. I felt the tears fill my eyes. "Paris?"

"I couldn't leave you no matter what... We are going to college together in America."
