The Styles Triplets

Harry, Edward and Marcel may all look the same, but they are completely different, especially their secrets. Baylee may look like a normal girl, but her mom passed away 6 years ago and no one knows the real reason why, until she is forced to tell the boys. Not only does she have a big secret, they all do too.

15. Chapter Fifteen

I walked into his room feeling rather awkward. He closes the door and walks to his bed and sits down.

Edward sits quietly on his bed looking down, whilst I stood about a metre away from the door. Talk about awkward.

"What do you...uhm...want to talk about?" Edward asks nervously, still looking down.

"Well...I think you know exactly what I want to talk about," I say, crossing my arms.

"Baylee, I swear. I was going to tell you earlier, but you were upset," Edward starts, looking up at me. "And conceited me thought if I told you then, you would be more upset. I'm sorry."

He is making this far too confusing for me. He didn't want to tell me because I was sad? He thought I would be worse if he did tell me? Why would I care if he were to move out? Oh, wait. Shit.

But then again...Harry and Marcel would've been here looking after me...

"I would've been fine, Edward," I say, walking over to the bean bag across from him, falling down onto it.

"The last time you said that you almost pushed me off the wharf," he says, chuckling slightly from the memory.

Ah. Yes. I almost did. And I would've if he hadn't grabbed onto the pole next to us. That's when he was hesitant to tell me he broke my favourite ring. Then again, it was a ring from a flea market...

"Well, then I guess I should say thanks," I say, looking at him. Edward just sat there, looking awfully confused. "You know, for looking out for me."

Edward smiles a small smile, and pats next to him on the bed, signalling for me to sit there. I hesitated a bit before I stood up and sat there. He turned his body so that he was facing me.

"You know I will always look out for you," He sincerely says.

I give him a soft smile and tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"So...when are you moving out, " I ask, speaking softly.

"I decided Wednesday," He replies, just as softly as I was.

"That soon?" I ask.

"Three days, yeah. I guess..." He trails. Edward sighs, looking around his room. "It will be a great experience. But then again, I'm shit scared, and really nervous."

What is there to be scared of? Ghosts? Goblins? Fairies? "Why would you be scared?" I ask him.

He chuckles to himself, "I'm going to be living by myself. Wouldn't you be scared? And plus, you'll be here...with him."

"Let's not discuss that..." I say, trailing off, and looking anywhere but him. Topic change time! "Where are you moving to?"

"The apartment block around the corner fro the school. I may be living alone, but I do need an education," He says.

"Priorities are real," I state. Edward just smiles, standing up to put a few things into an empty box.

"Do you need any help with packing?" I ask, watching him.

"Nah, I'm fine. I'm almost done actually."

"That's good..." I trail off looking around his room.

I can't believe he is moving. Oh, my. I couldn't think about moving out and living alone at this age. Nope, no way. Probably would if I could convince someone, preferably female, to live with me.

Edward stops putting things away, scratching the back of his neck, and turning to face me," you want to watch a movie?" He says breaking the silence.

"On one condition...I get to pick the movie," I say, smiling a sweet smile

"Please. Anything but Titanic," He groans.

"Fine!" I say in defeat. That is the best movie, and Leonardo DiCaprio, woo! He is FINE.

I get up from his bed and walk to the movie rack he has set up next to his TV, whilst he goes back to his bed.

I go through the rack, laughing every now and then at his collection. Clueless? Mean Girls? Legally Blonde? Solid. I go down a bit further and spot the perfect movie.

"What did you pick?" He asks lying back on his headboard facing the TV.

"It's a surprise," I say laughing and putting the DVD in.

"That's no fun," He mutters, but I heard him.

I ignore it and walk to his bed and make myself comfy next to him but making space between us on purpose.

The movie starts straight away, fortunately skipping the annoying menu music.

"Hmmm, I wonder what movie this could be," he says sarcastically.

"Rude," I say and playfully slap him on his arm.

"It's your fault you have a weird obsession with (500) Days of Summer!" He defends.

"It's a good movie and plus, Joseph Gordon-Levitt isn't that bad looking. Especially in 10 Things I Hate About You." I point out and diverting my attention the TV.

"I'm sure if you don't shut up and watch, I will list you the 10 things I hate about you," He says playfully.

"You really are rude, you know that," I say acting like I meant it. "Now shut up, I want to watch it."

"If you recite the lines, I will push you off this bed," He says being serious.

"Not like I've done that twice by myself," I mutter.

"What was that?" He asks obviously not hearing what I said.

"Oh, nothing...Shhh or I'll have to push you off," I say turning up the volume to full blast.

By the time the movie ended, Edward and I had moved closer to each other, our hands were practically touching. And now it was late, and I was getting hungry.

"Are you hungry?" He asks.

What the even heck?! Did he just read my mind? I just nod my head, rather eagerly.

"I'll take that as a yes." He says laughing.

I start getting up but I get pulled back into Edward's arms, slightly yelping. He holds me tightly, most likely attempting to hug me.

"I've missed having you in my arms," He whispers in my ear.

I blush and turn my head away from him.

"You're not going to say 'I've missed being in your arms' or something like that?" He asks putting a hand to his heart and I laugh.

"Well I was...and then you spoke," I said, attempting to get pissed off.

"Oh...sorry. You can say it now if you want," He says looking deep into my arms.

"I've mi-," I get interrupted once again but this time by myself. My stomach rumbled.

"You must be hungry. Let's go and eat and you can finish that sentence later," He says poking my nose.

I get up off the bed before he could pull me back again, and head to the door to go eat.
