57. Chapter 57

Harry's POV

'We'll see?'

What the hell did he mean by that. I guess he was still deciding if he is going to tell the boys or not. It would be fair to tell them, but I'd rather not have even more conflict. There is also no guarantee that they are all going to believe what happened.

There is always at least one person who won't believe me, even if everyone else possibly does. I groaned and threw my phone to the other side of the couch. I put my arms behind my head and closed my eyes for a while to relax a bit.

I had been lying on the couch with closed eyes for almost ten minutes. I was almost asleep; I was in the state of being half asleep and half awake. I was fully awake when I heard my mum's voice.

"Harry?" she asked.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, "Yeah?"

"Audrey wants too talk to you." she told me.

By the tone that she said it, I couldn't tell if this was a bad or good thing, I also couldn't tell if my mum was still upset with me.

"Ok." I simply said and got up off the couch.

I decided tot take Audrey wanting to talk to me as a good thing, the fact that she was willing to see me had to be a good thing. I was still really worried about my mum's thoughts to this situation right now. I can't tell if she is mad at me or not, and its driving me insane. I stopped in my place and turned back around and went back to the living room where my mum was.

"Mum?" I said.

She turned around, "Yes Harry?" she said.

"Are you still mad at me?" the way I asked that was almost childish, I sounded like a little boy beginning his mommy for forgiveness after say something some futile remark that got him in trouble. Honestly, that’s pretty much how I felt. A foolish little boy wanting forgiveness for a senseless action that he did.

"Just go talk to Audrey. We'll talk later." she told me.

"O-Ok." I said looking down.

I stood there a few seconds longer, then turned back around and headed back in the direction of Audrey's room.

Audrey's POV

After Harry had explained what had happened, I was overwhelmed by all the information, that may or may not be true, but still I needed to process everything. I mean, it could be true. Some of it sounded like something that my dad would do to get back at me.

I ended up just saying I didn't know if I believed him, and then got up and went into my room. I walked into my room and lied down on the bed. I was going through everything he told me, dividing up what I thought was true, what could be true, and what I didn't think was true.

A few minutes later Anne came into the room.

"Hey Audrey." she said, closing the door behind her.

"Hey." I said sitting up.

"So you want to talk about this?" she asked.

"Yeah, that'd be nice." I said agreeing to her offer to talk.

I told her about how I had divided up what I thought was true, what might be true, and what I didn't think was true. As I was explaining all that to her, she would occasionally nod, and make comments about what I said, saying things like she agreed and whatnot.

"Honestly, I think he might be telling the truth, all this sounds like something my dad is capable of, something he would do to try and hurt me, and get mad at someone who actually cares about me." I told her.
