38. Chapter 38

Harry's POV

I walked back over to the couches in the lobby where everyone else was. I really wasn't in the mood to talk to them, but I know they would overwhelm me with curious questions.

"Harry what happened?"

"Are you ok?" I heard them ask.

I sighed and told them to follow me outside so I could tell them, but told Audrey to stay inside. "So what happened?" Liam asked.

I explained everything to them, I left out the part about having to make Audrey's life miserable because I really didn't want to talk about it, or hear what they had to say about it because I wasn't sure what to do. I did tell them so that means I had to do it, but how would Audrey's dad know if I did or didn't.

"Wait so the doctor was working with Audrey's dad and gave her the medication?" Niall asked repeating a lot of what I just said.

"Yes Niall that’s what he said." I replied.

We discussed the topic a bit more before Audrey came out and we immediately stopped talking and looked at her as if we weren't talking about anything.

"The nurse needs you to sign for something." she said to no one in particular.

"Ok" I said and we walked back inside.

The nurse motioned for us to come up to the desk.

"Ok I got you some medication for her. It won't fully help her recover because of how much damage the other pill did in a short amount of time." she began to explain. "So you will also have to help her regain her memory."

We nodded and my mum signed the paper.

Audrey's POV

After I had seen my dad here I was beyond scared a sunk back in the couch trying my best to have him not notice me. I kept wondering why Harry went over there. Were they working together to try and hurt me? At this point I didn't care, I had started to begin to think Harry really wasn't going to hurt me but I had a feeling I was wrong, and I was. He obviously knew my dad. I saw the nurse looking at me and she started to walk over and sat next to me on the couch.

"Are you ok?" she asks "You look a little worried."

"I'm fine, its just that um my dad is over there and he abused me a lot when I was younger, and then Harry is over there talking to him and he was the one that punched me into a coma, so I guess I'm just a bit scared." I explained to her.

"Harry wasn't the one who punched you that day." she said

"What? Yes he was." I said back.

"No he wasn't, the coma and the pill you were given made you think that, the pill made you lose memory instead of helping regain it." she explained.

"Are you sure?" I questioned.

"Yes, I still have your hospital report that I wrote out the day you went into a coma." she said.

"Yeah, do you want to see it?" she asked.

I nodded and she got up and went into the back room behind her desk. Anne and the two boys walked over to me. They just started talking to each other and me while I was waiting for the nurse to come back. Harry seemed to have finished talking to my dad and the doctor; he walked over to us and said he needed to tell us something. As I was getting up he told me to stay here. Of course I thought to myself, they always had their little meetings without me, I felt so left out. I was pulled of my thoughts when the nurse came back holding a manila colored folder.

"Ok here it is" she stopped. "Where did everyone go?" she asked me looking around.

"They went outside to talk about something." I answered.

"Did you want to go out there with them? I can show you when you come back inside." she offered.

"No it’s fine, I was told to stay in here, they never let me join their little 'secret talks'." I said using air quotes.

"Oh" she said and sat down next to me.

She handed me the folder and I instantly opened it and began to read it.

"Oh, so it really was my dad." I said once I finished reading.

The nurse just nodded, I felt a bit upset now, they were really telling me the truth and I kept yelling at them. I sighed and handed her the folder.

"Thanks for showing me this." I said to her.

"No problem, now I have some pills to help you with your memory and I need Anne to sign for them. How about you go out there and get them and see if you can hear a bit of what they're saying." she smiled. I laughed in acceptance and got up off the couch.
