23. Chapter 23

"Were you serious?" Harry complained as we reached his house.

"No," I giggled, "Of course I wasn't you dope!" I said, playfully tapping his arm with the back of my hand. He smirked and unlocked his front door, beckoning me in with his hand.

As I entered, I made my way to his living room. I heard the door slam behind me, then two arms snake around my waist. Harry started nuzzling his nose into my neck. I spun around and clashed my lips into his, causing an enormous amount of butterflies to invade my stomach.

"I..." Harry began, inbetween a kiss, "love..." Another kiss, "you so much," Another kiss, "Abby." I giggled a little and Harry smirked into the kiss. I lifted my hands and ran my fingers through his curls, whilst Harry gripped my thighs and shoved me gently against the wall. I wrapped my legs around his waist and tightened them.

"Harry..." I moaned, lifting my head against the wall as he began planting a kiss on my neck, which soon turned to a love bite. I gripped my hands in Harry's hair, as he procceded carrying me up the stairs.

 "Harry, I-I,"

"Hush..." Harry whispered, carrying my into his room and placing me on his bed.

"Are you..." Harry asked, looking up and down at my down spread on the bed. I felt ashamed, but I still nodded. I saw Harry's eyes widen a little before he smirked again. As Harry made his way towards me, I lifted my hand and placed it against his chest, stopping his lips from connecting with mine.

"I can't," I shook my head, watching Harry furrow his eyebrows in confusion. He sat down on the edge of the bed and ran his fingers through his luscious curls. I frowned a little and crossed my legs on his bed, placing my head in my hands.

"I'm sorry Harry," I whispered, glancing up to see him hiding his face in his hands. I sighed and continued to speak.

"There's something I need to tell you..." I ushered, biting my lip.

"Why? Is it something I've done? Are we going too fast?" Harry shot the questions at me, lifting his head and looking me in the eyes.

"No," I managed a slight smile, "It's nothing you've done."

"What then? Tell me baby," Harry's voice was full of hurt. His eyes glistened in the dim light and I felt a tear drop from my eye. I shook my head a little again.

"Abby..." Harry inched closer to me and buried my head in his chest, whilst I began to weap softly. I felt Harry shake his head slightly, his heartbeat surely beating too fast than normal.

"Why are you so distant? Why can't I seem to ever get through to you?" Harry questioned. I looked up and shot him a puzzled glance, my bottom lip trembling slightly and wet with fresh tears.

"Your nothing like other girls I've met before," Harry continued. Anger rose in me when he said that. I shot up from our position.

"What do you mean? Not like other girls? You mean I don't THROW myself at you and hope that YOU'LL accept me? Well Harry, I'M SORRY TO BE A DISAPPOINTMENT! I'm sorry I don't want to have sex with ANYONE like your average SLUT! I HATE YOU HARRY! I really do!"

I stormed down his stairs and out of his house with tears streaming down my face. I'd probably ruined us for good, but I didn't care. It would have happened anyway with Niall, wouldn't it? Probably.

"ABBY!" Harry shouted from behind me, as I started running along the pavement.

"Get lost! Leave me alone!" I shouted, without another glance behind me. I heard Harry kick his door before I turned the corner and was out of earshot. Instead of going home I carried on walking to the park.

I sat down on the swing, swaying myself back and forth, drowning in self pity. I closed my eyes and breathed heavily, though it didn't help my crying.

I heard a familiar chuckle from behind me. A voice I knew all too well.
