He'll go out with any girl he gets his hands on, just to see if he could get in their pants. Well do I accept this challenge? Do I fall in love? Does he find out?

13. Chapter 13

"Drive me home?," I smiled standing in front of him as we stood in the door way.

  "What about your car?"

"I guess, I'll have to come back tomorrow after school and pick it up," I giggled staring at him.

"I guess you shall have to," he smirked. "But lets go," he grabbed my hand and shut his front door, locking it with his house key. He put them in his pocket and walked us both to his car; he stopped at the passenger side and opened the car door for me.

"Why thank you," I laughed hopping in. He closed the door and I watched as he jogged over to the other side of the car and jumped in. I stared at his curls as they went all directions when he was grabbing his car key to put in the key hole to turn the car on. Only if he knew. He caught me staring at him and smirked.

  "Like, what you see?"

"Nah I seen better," I joked.

"Yeah, yourself." I felt myself beginning to blush but quickly stopped because he'd probably said that to many girls so it's nothing new he's said.

"Whatever Styles. Just drive me home," I smiled and looked out the window after putting on the seat belt.

When we got to my house he pulled in the drive way sharply, making me hit my elbow on the door. "Shit," I whispered rubbing my elbow.

  "You alright?"

"Yeah," I looked at him. I removed the seatbelt, opened the door and was about to get out but he pulled me back in by my arm. I just stared at him in silence. "What?"

"I love you," he smiled sweetly and let go of my arm allowing me to leave again.

"Okay," I quickly got out and shut the door pacing up to my door opening it then closing it. I jogged up the staircase and into my room, closing the door. I can't say it back; I'll be telling myself and him a lie. I like him, yes but love? I don't know. I wasn't in a million years going to ask him out till Jessica made that bet. Jessica, she needs to know what he said. I hurried over to my bed and took out my phone from my jacket and texted her.

  To: Jessica ; From: Abby

Just got back from Harry's flat...

It didn't take very long before she seen it, and texted/replied back.

  To: Abby ; From: Jessica

  How did it go!

  To: Jessica ; From: Abby

It was alright but he said something just a few minutes ago I don't know how to take.

 To: Abby ; From: Jessica

  To: Jessica ; From: Abby

He said and I quote, I love you.

  To: Abby ; From: Jessica

  Awwee! What'd you say??

  To: Jessica ; From: Abby

Okay. < I didn't know what to say! It's not like I love him back, I can't lie to him. Even tho I already am but saying I love you? Love is a strong word and only is supposed to be used on your real true love.

I didn't wait for her to reply, I turned my phone off and hoped up from my bed and went to the bathroom looking at myself. I'm so confused, not because Harry I'm confused over how I look, act and am. I bet if I didn't go to his party, I'd be stuck in the back of class rooms with my face in books while people act wild crazy, gossip, talk trash or suck their faces out. I put my hair back in a bun and changed into my baggy pajamas. I curled up in my bed and was prepared to sleep. But I haven't spoken to my mother in a while, and I didn't see her as I walked into the house. Where could she be? Maybe in her room.

I stood up from my bed lazily and opened my door, walking down the hallway to my mothers room that had a closed door. I knocked a few times and waited. "Mom?," I knocked again. Nothing. "Mother?," I opened her door a crack and I seen her body figure laying down on her bed. I silently cracked it open more, enough for my body to fit through and walked up to her. It was pitch dark but from the light in the hallway flashing through the crack I could see a little bit. "Are you alright," as I got closer I heard sniffles and huffs. I sat down next to her and put a hand on her arm that was resting on her hip. "What's wrong?," she was crying. Why tho?

"I-I'm alright Abby just go," she spoke in a whispering voice.

  "No, what's wrong."

"Mom. Tell me," I ran my fingers up and down her arm trying to comfort her.

"It's about your grandmother that's all," she sniffled and whipped her nose with a tissue that was crimpled up in her hand.

"What about her," I felt my heart beat just a little bit faster.

"She got diagnosed with a deadly case of breast cancer. The doctors said she might not live but their doing all they can for her," she cried louder.

"When!," I became worried and tears slipped from my eyes that were focused on my mom.

"This happened three days ago but the hospital just now got our house number and informed me."

"But-," I couldn't continue talking, my heart sunk.

"Were going up to North Carolina where she is, this weekend. Were staying up there till she gets better or she passes," she slowly stopped crying. My mom doesn't cry long about anything, she usually runs out of tears to come out of her.

"But what about my schooling? This is a important year for me, I can't miss a hole lot of school."

"Guess you'll have to transfer up there," she turned her body facing me. Her face looked like a waterfall.

"I can't! I love grandma but I'm not transferring over there," I yelled.

  "To bad!," her face frowned.

"I'll stay with Jessica! Or one of my other friends then!"

"Like who? Abby I know you, this is why we fight your not social with people and we fight because I'm the only person you talk to."

"Just shut up," I stood up and walked to the door, before I left I stared back at her. "I thought we were getting along and comforting each other about grandma but look you always know how to ruin a mood," I rubbed my eyes and slammed her door close. Another problem on my shoulders.
