James cares for his country. But he worries about Isobel and that stirred something inside of him which could stir something bigger in the country.

(It is set in the olden days incase that isn't clear in my writing haha, not quite sure what year, but somewhere waaaaay far back like in the 1400s :D)

15. 15.

Elijah and I sit at our special place, looking out at the view. It's dusk now and it's cool but still fairly warm and the sunset is setting a warm glow out everywhere.

"So." Elijah says, turning to face me. "What really happened at the palace?"

I frown. "What do you mean?"

"Oh come on Iz, I knew you wouldn't say a thing in front of everyone, but you can tell me anything."

"I know I can." I smile. "And nothing happened so I'm not telling you anything."

He laughs. "I know you better than anyone. Go on... you know you want to tell me."

He tickles my neck which always makes me admit stuff, it always has since we were young, but not this time.

I laugh and bat his hand away. "Stop it!"

"Why won't you tell me?" he says, laughing.

"There's nothing to tell!" I insist.

"Ah," Elijah presses, though there's still a playful look in his eyes. "So nothing happened between you and our dear prince?"

I gasp mockingly and hit Elijah's arm, knowing it won't hurt him. "How dare you suggest such a thing!" we both laugh. "But seriously, nothing happened. It was boring, I slept and then I came home."

Elijah nods. "Fair enough."
