13. Chapter Twelve

Harry's POV

We arrived at London after several hours of being crammed inside that small train. Katie clung onto my arm, dragging her suitcase behind her while I carried mine. “Woah,” She gaped, looking at the sights around her.

“Do you like it?” I ask, watching as her face lit up and she nodded enthusiastically. “C'mon, let's get a taxi to our flat.”

“You bought one, already?!” She exclaimed, eyes widening.

“No, I was just going to come to London and spend all day looking for a place to stay then risk spending the night on the street.” I said sarcastically, making her chuckle and hit my arm playfully.

“It's just unbelievable that were here.” She sighed, “We have to enrol into a school, you do realise that?”

“Yep, I already signed us up for one,” I grinned.

“Have you done everything?” She stared at me in disbelief and I nodded, my smile not faulting. She beamed back at me, entwining our fingers.

“Our flats fully decorated too.” I stated, “There's two rooms, just in case you don't want to shar–”

“Harry, I'd love to share a room with you.” She interrupted me, winking.

“Okay then.” I chuckle, spotting a taxi which was parked on the other side of the road. I knocked on the window and the man smiled, motioning for us to get in.

“Where to?” He asked cheerfully, looking at us.

“Woodburch lane, apartment 62.” He nodded before taking off. Katie rested her head on my lap and I played with her hair, observing as she blushed.

“How did I ever get so lucky to be with you?” She whispered, sitting up and resting her head on my shoulder. I wrapped an arm around her, kissing her cheek.

“Don't you mean how lucky am I?” I corrected her.

“Right, were here.” The driver spoke up and I handed him some money. “No, this one's on the house.”

“Thank you!” Katie exclaimed, entwining our fingers as we got out of the car. We entered our apartment and her jaw dropped. “This is fucking huge! How did you afford this?”

“I've had several jobs in the past.” I shrugged. I opened the door to our room and she ran past me, diving on the bed in a fit of giggles. I lay next to her, watching her in amusement.

“When to we start school?” She asked me, shutting her eyes and cuddling up to me.

“Tomorrow, Monday.” I sighed, wrapping my arms around her. She smiled, kissing my nose. I laughed, kissing hers.

“Do you think the people there will like us?” She questioned, playing with the hem of my shirt. I nodded.

“You were the most popular girl at our old school, so you're bound to be liked at the new one!” I reassured her.

“I don't think so.” She admitted, tracing shapes on my stomach. “Do you work out?” She gasped.

 “Yeah.” I simply replied.

“Wow. Who knew, eh?” She giggled, climbing on top of me. “You're just so–”

“Hello, sorry to interrupt.” The familiar voice spoke and we both turned around, our faces paling. “You should really lock your front door, y'know.”
