The Runaway Meets the Rogue (Completed)

Zee runs away from her pack when she finds out she has to marry Cameron (the Alpha of the neighboring pack.) She ends up in Oregon, where she meets two other werewolves, Jax and Landon. Will she fall for Landon or Cameron? Which one is her true mate?

17. Chapter 17: Celebrating

I didn't want to be at this party. It was a celebration of defeating the Nightwalkers Pack. The werewolves that lost their loved ones weren't celebrating. Well, some of them were, just to get their mind off of things. I was sitting down on a black couch. Cameron was somewhere around here.

I looked at my ring. It truly was beautiful. I don't know how I got so lucky. Cameron sat down next to me and put his arm around me. I smiled at him. He smiled back.

"I'm glad that everything's over with." I said. Hopefully now I don't have to worry too much.

"Yeah, me, too." Cameron said. He smashed his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my waist. I pulled away. "Do you want to leave?" He asked me. I nodded my head. I had wanted to leave the moment we got here. I wasn't the kind to party. It just wasn't me.

Cameron took my hand and we walked back to our house. We walked up to our room. Cameron once again smashed his lips onto mine. We fell onto the bed. He started kissing my neck. He moved to where my shoulder and neck meet. He looked up at me.

"I want you to mark me." I said to him.

"Are you sure?" I nodded my head. He bit into my skin. It felt like I was literally on fire. It didn't hurt, it was just love that I was feeling. Cameron finished marking me and brought his lips back to mine.

If we didn't stop now we would take it too far. I'm not ready for a kid yet. I pulled away from our kiss. "We can't, Cameron." I said to him. He nodded his head, understanding.

We sat up. "When do you want our wedding?" Cameron asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I haven't thought about it. I've been too busy thinking about the Nightwalkers Pack.

"Maybe a month after we move into the castle?" I suggested. It wasn't too bad of a plan. I'm sure they had already started planning the wedding a couple months ago.

"That sounds nice." Cameron said. I smiled at him. He's literally the sweetest person.

I started twiddling my thumbs and biting my lip. I was nervous to ask this question. I don't know why.

"When do you want to have kids?" I asked him. He looked over at me.

"Whenever you're ready to." He answered. I nodded my head. "What do you think it's like at the castle?" He asked me.

"I don't know. I'm sure it's not easy being the ruler over so many packs." I said. I never really thought about it. We're going to be moving into the castle pretty soon. What will it be like there? I hope it's not too bad. I don't think it will be.

"We'll be okay." He said. I nodded my head. I knew that we would be. We pull through anything. We've both been through a lot lately, but we're still madly in love.

"I love you, Cameron." I said. He smiled.

"I love you too, Zee." He said.

"Do we really have to do this today?" I asked Accalia. She smiled and nodded her head. She basically had to drag me into the wedding dress shop. "I'm not even getting married that soon."

"You don't know when you'll be moving into the castle. You said a month after you move in there you'd get married. I'm pretty sure you need a dress." Accalia said. I groaned. She just shook her head and laughed.

"I don't find this funny." I said, crossing my arms.

"You're acting like a little kid, Zee." She said. She's right, isn't she? I shut up after that. "It won't be that bad. I bet you'll find a dress in no time."

Let's just say that we left the store without a dress.

"There were so many pretty ones. I don't get why you didn't pick the third one you tried on." She blabbered on. I was trying to block her out.

"I didn't pick any of them because I didn't like any of them." I finally said. "Besides there are plenty of stores." I said.

"We'll look another day. I think your problem was that you didn't want to find a wedding dress." I rolled my eyes. Yeah, that's totally it! I sarcastically said in my mind. I wasn't going to be mean to her. She's really nice.

We got back home. I walked into mine and Cameron's house. Cameron was in the living room, watching TV. He tore his gaze away from the TV to look at me.

"How was dress shopping?" He asked. I groaned. I sat down next to him. "That bad?" I nodded my head.

"It was awful!" I said, snuggling closer to him. "I'll find a dress though."

"Yeah, let's hope. I know how you are with dresses." He said, laughing. I rolled my eyes.

"Ha-ha I'm laughing so hard." I said, sarcastically. I felt Cameron shake his head.

"I was only joking, Zee." He said.

"I knew that you were." I said.

I don't think him marking me was a good idea. I've been wanting to make-out with him ever since that night. I'm afraid if that happened, things could get a little out of control.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked me.

"I was thinking about how much I love you." I said. He smiled.

"I love you, too." He brought his lips down to mine. My heart started to beat faster. I couldn't think. I finally brought myself to my senses and pulled away. I didn't want it to get out of hand.

I smiled at Cameron. I am madly in love with him. He's still the same Cameron- the old Cameron that I loved. I wouldn't change anything.

*A/N: I'm sorry if there are any spelling mistakes. I'm extremely tired and can barely stay awake. Anyway I hope you like this chapter. I'll try to update tomorrow, but I'm not making any promises.
