Sofia have rented an apartment in London with her bestie, Emilie. They both have to work on each of their career. After packing out they are really tired and want some energy. By coincidence they ended in Starbucks, and that is were they meet Niall and Harry. What happens next? Only time will tell.

(This story is dedicated for my lovely friend Sofia and are based on our hopes and dreams ♥)

16. Ups and downs

The days slowly went by, and my relationship with Harry continued in happiness. We both knew that things had gone fast, and we decided to take one step at a time.

It was Wednesday today, and I had nothing to do. I had searched job positions, but nothing really caught me. I was sitting on a lounger on Harry’s balcony enjoying the wonderful hot weather. My computer was placed on my lap.
“Still searching for jobs?” Harry asked, as he came with two glasses of smoothie.
“I’m having a break right now.” I said and leaned back and relaxed.
“There you go kitten.” Harry said and gave me one of the glasses.
“Thanks babe.” I said and smiled. The last few days I had spent more time in Harry’s apartment than my own. I felt bad about just leaving Emilie there. I owed her something.
“It is bloody hot out here and we can’t have you dehydrating. Can we?” he asked and winked.
“Nope we can’t” I said and shook my head.
“Wanna swim in the pool later?” he asked and looked headed the pool.
“Yes please.” I said blessed. I could barely stand being out in the sun with weather like this.
“Sounds great!” he said and smiled cheesy. He took his t-shirt off and lay down at lounger beside me.
“Didn’t you search for a job at a music café?” he asked. I figured it might be nice working with great music in the background.
“Yes.” Now I thought about... They wrote at the job application, they would respond quickly. Within a few days actually..
“Have they answered yet?” he wondered.
“I don’t know…” I opened my computer, and checked my mail. I scroll down my inbox. Too many messages from clothes pages, if you ask me.  Oh… There was one from the Music Café.
“Are you checking it now?” Harry asked. I nodded. I was afraid of opening it.
I clicked and started to read. “Dear Sofia, I am sorry to say, that you did not get the job….” You gotta be kidding me.
“Nooooooo!” I said frustrated. I was so angry at that moment.
“What is wrong, love?” Harry asked carrying. He came over to me, when he saw how sad, I looked.
“I didn’t get the job.” I ranked my hands through my hair. “I really wanted this job, and I thought I could get it…But..” He held his arms around me.
“So?” Harry questioned. “I may have something to cheer you up..”  he said with a sly smile.
“Really?” Harry was a master at cheering me up, so I deeply hoped, he had something.
“Of course I do.” He said and gave me a peck on the cheek. I loved the feeling of his warm lips against my skin.
“But I can’t tell you until I am absolutely sure…I am waiting for someone to answer.” he said. Now smiling even more sly, than before.
“But?..” Harry put his finger over my lips whispering. “You will have to wait, kitten.” I crossed with arms and looked mad at him saying “That’s not fair.” on a child’s way. You can’t just say that, and then at the next moment shut your mouth not saying a word.
“Life isn’t fair.” he said and acted smart.
“Oh.. Please stop it.” I said and pushed him with my shoulder. He looked at me and raised the one of his eyebrows
“Did you just push me?” he asked challenging.
“Perhaps.” I said and pushed him again.
“Oh, yes you did!” He said and stood up. With a quickly move he had his arms around me, ready to lift me up. “Harry don’t do that!” I screamed. He lifted me up, so I was lying across his shoulder, with my butt in the air.
“Harry! Sit me down!” I screamed. He was surprisingly strong, but then again..  Have you seen his biceps? It is like, oh my God! Any way… Harry still held me in air, and there were really nothing, I could do.
“It’s called revenge sweetie!” Harry said and started to walk across the roof. “Harrryyyy!” I half laughed, half yelled for my life. He wasn’t listening to me. From my weird twisted angle, it looked like he was headed?.. no way.. the pool!
“Harry!! Sit me down! This isn’t funny!” I screamed trying to make resistance, but he just held me tighter.
“What did you say?” Harry asked and stopped right in front of the pool, and I had a feeling of what he had in mind. “”Sit me down.” Was that it?” he asked foxy. “Noo!! Harry please!” I begged. “Yup. “Sit me down.” That’s it.” he said cheesy. He let go of me, and just as I thought, I ended in the pool. I splashed around in the pool, until I finally got everything under control. “That wasn’t sweet of you.” I said madly to a laughing Harry.
“Can you at least help me up?” I asked and swam over to the edge. He stopped laughing and looked at me. I did my best to look seriously mad, so I could fool him by my next ploy.
“I sorry sweetie.” he said and offered me his hand, to help me up. It was my turn to smile sly just before, I grabbed his hand and pulled him in the pool.
“Sofiaaa!” he yelled and sprinkled water at me. I quickly turned my head away to avoid the water. He started to swim in my direction and splashed water at me. “That wasn’t sweet of you either!” he laughed. I splashed water at him, and before we knew it… A water fight had begun. It was so funny; I also forgot why I was sad.
All of sudden a telephone started to ring. “I have to get it.” Harry said and went of the pool, and walked headed the loungers. Damn… that telephone always ruined the good times. I got up of the pool, and took a towel. He had plenty, and they were laying everywhere. It was a quick call, and Harry was already headed back.
“Sofia… about that cheering up thing…” he looked at me. “They just called..”
“And?” I was so curious had to know, what it was.
