Pleasantly Surprised a Connor Franta Fanfic

Basically this is the beginning of a Connor Franta Fanfic. Writing this is really addictive because I wish it were reality so expect the story to grow immensely. Also, I already have most of the rest planned out. This is a fanfic about how I go on an adventure, accidentally meet a really sweet, funny, cute guy, and accidentally meet him again for reals. The rest is a mystery and you'll have to read on. If I must say so myself it's excellent. Enjoy Frantics.

11. Giving up

Surprisingly that night I slept like a baby. I got into bed and was asleep before my head hit the pillow. I dreamed of nothing. A peaceful sleep.       I woke up early that morning and slumped into the kitchen. I made a cup of tea and went out onto the balcony. I put my cup on the table, sat down with my knees up and my arms around them and rested my head on my knees. I closed my eyes just soaking up the sounds of the city. It was so different from home. I put down down my legs and picked it up silently sipping it as I watched the sunrise. I enjoyed that time of day. I'm used to waking up early for morning swim practice and often enjoy the coolness of summer mornings. Just then it hit me. Connor! I'd totally forgotten about yesterday. I usually don't become capable of thought till at least 9 so I wasn't surprised about forgetting. I wasn't quite sure what to think of Connor. I seriously doubted he liked me. Like really? He's so perfect and I'm just some random chick from Canada. I seriously doubted it so much that the thought of liking Connor was completely erased from my mind. I decided that if I wanted to have a full experience here I'd have to get out of the house. I made a group chat with Ricky, Sam, Kian, Julia and Trevor. I asked what a good place to go was and got a very quick reply from Ricky saying "gurrlll we need to go to the beach each cause u havnt been there yet". After deciphering what it meant I got super excited. The ocean is the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. When I was twelve I went to Margarita Island and we stayed by the ocean. Needless to say I never left the ocean and was a prune by the end of each day. So the aspect of going BACK to the ocean made me ecstatic. I texted back after seeing a few people reply saying that looked like a good idea and said "gurlllll that's da best idea I heard all week".
