Close to Perfect

Marie goes to a one direction concert and when an unfortunate happening turns into something amazing, her dreams come true. But what happens when her dreams aren't exactly what she expected them to be?

1. Excited

Today I was going to their concert. One Direction. The band that I spent my entire middle school years obsessing over. I bought the tickets a year ago, when I was in love. Now I wasn't that excited. Definitely not as excited as I should be, spending $150 dollars on back row seats. I had to leave my friend's lakehouse early to get to the concert, which was not a good start.

My crazy friends were making T-Shirts, posters, and bandannas with phrases such as "I LOVE YOU LIAM". I decided to go with a blue tank top, and white jean shorts. It's whatever.

We drove the hour to the park where they were performing, and I was in awe with all of the thousands of teenage girls screaming at the top of their lungs, and the extreme measures of security. I was a little excited now. Just a little.

We got to our seats. They sucked.

"Marie!" one of my friends shouted over the noise. She told me her plan.

We eyed a huge group of kids, with VIP passes around their necks. The meet and greet was before the show today, but it was over $4000 dollars, so we didn't go. We were going to sneak in with their group, to the front. We somehow got past, and found some empty seats. FIFTH ROW. My heart started to beat a little faster. I WAS EXCITED.

The opening act was great, but I couldn't wait for One Direction to come out. The last 3 years of memories of them came rushing back, and I felt like a total fangirl. Before they came out, the security guards came around, asking for tickets. My friend jabbed my ribs. "Lay low." she said.

I hid in between two snotty girls with passes on their necks. I heard yelling and saw my friend getting dragged away by security. Crap. My heart started beating really fast. I'm going to get kicked out. A man looked my way and started making his way towards me, bodyguards behind him. Oh no oh no oh no. He was just about to grab my arm when the lights dimmed, and the screaming got louder.
