Two Shades Of Styles

When Harley Normand meets Harry Styles, she finds that there's two sides to this mysterious and seductive man. One of them is the sweet, caring man that she adores. But then there is also a dark side. I guess you could say his sexiest side, Harley wants him, but is afraid of the risk. Plus, with Harry being filthy rich, this would be all over the media. But when she finds Harry wants her just as much, will she give in? And will Harley be all that Harry's needs desire?

9. At work

I stepped into Styles Enterprises in my burgundy skirt, tights, and light brown sweater. My brunette hair hung low and my fingers were entangled with the ones of my lover. Oh do I love him. My everything. "Harry?" I spoke happily. Just saying his name gave me spine shivers. "Yes love?" he smiled. "Are you sure you want me to come. Wouldn't I be a bother?" I asked as we stepped into the elevator. "Of course not. You'll be my beautiful girl in the desk," he placed his soft, plump lips to my cheek. We walked from the elevator and I bit my lip as I admired Mr. Styles. Damn. His tux fit against his body like a pair of gloves and his hair was slightly swayed to the side. The pants held him bum snug and his green eyes shined. How could someone as beautiful as him, go for a girl like me? I'm not at all good looking. At least I don't think so. Thanks to my exes. I felt a pair of lips smash to mine as we walked through the hall. "Hopefully that lip was treated better. You were biting it pretty hard love," Harry teased. "Oh shut up," I punched his arm. He chuckled and we stepped to his office. "Good morning Mr. Styles. Ms. Normand?" She looked confused as she saw me. I would be to. If I came to work and saw my attractive boss with a bouncy brunette. "That's right. I'm her's," Harry smiled as we walked in his office. It was the first time I'd been there since the interview and still it had the faint aroma of fresh muffins. "Just sit right there. I have an appointment at three o clock," he pulled out a chair for me. I smiled and took a seat at the desk. There was a neat stack of blank papers and one led pencil beside me. I looked at the clock. 2:58 pm. "You can just draw or write. Whatever you wanna do," he walked to the door and opened it for a petite blonde to walk in. She wasn't really "fit" if I should say myself. Nothing up top so I wasn't worried. "Hello you must be Savannah," he shook her hand. "Yes I'm here for the interview," she smiled and took her seat at the long table in front of Harry. "Who are you?" She looked to me. "I'm Harley," I waved. "My girlfriend," Harry stated.

The interview went on and she asked him a bunch of questions like I did when we first met. Except he only smiled at me. Never her. I tapped my pencil against the hard wood, not knowing what to write. I looked to Harry again as the sun shined through the window to light his hair. He looked back at me and smiled brightly. "I love you," I mouthed. He smiled bigger and turned back to the blonde. No I love you back? My smile faded as I looked at the blank paper.

Finally Savannah left so I could talk to Harry. "Did you write anything?" Harry asked. "No," I replied. "That's weird. All you do is write. I mean you could never do the things I do," he chuckled. What did he just say?! "Excuse me?" I crossed my arms. "I'm just saying, you could never run a building like this," he stated. "Yes I could! I could run this place better than you ever could dumbass!" I spat. I saw the anger in Harry's eyes and I knew the next thing to come from him would hurt. "Shut the fuck up you bitch! You know nothing!" He yelled. He just called me... Stupid, dumb, maybe even... Useless? And suddenly childhood memories of bullies ran across my mind.

"Dumbass!" Janet laughed as she threw me to the ground. "Ah!" I yelped in pain as I fell to the ground. "Oh stop whining! You're such a bitch! No one loves you and no one ever will! Just die already!" She laughed and kicked me. Shots of pain ran through me as she punched and kicked me. This is when I fell into a deep depression. I felt useless, dumb, stupid.

But Harry was now slowly turning into Janet. No. I felt a tear slowly cascade down my cheek. "Harley?" Harry eyes were filling with regret as he reached for me. I flinched back. "Don't touch me," I choked. "Harley don't cry," he pulled me to his arms. I pushed him away and he had tears springing in his eyes, wondering what had really gotten to me. "No! Obviously I'm useless and don't know a thing!" I yelled and stormed out of the door. "Harley wait!" Harry ran from the office.  There were people in the chairs and I knew he would be professional in front of them. So why was he calling for me? "Harley please!" He ran after me. My walking sped up. I just have to be away from him right now. I walked into the elevator and pressed for the lobby. "Will you be back?!" Harry cried. "I don't know Harry. I don't know," I wiped my tears away. "I love you!" The tears fell down his cheeks. He was really sorry. I was going to say it back, but nothing came out. The doors closed and I landed to the lobby in fifteen seconds. The lady at the front desk saw me and asked,"Ms. Normand, what happened?" "Harry and I had a fight," I cried. I brushed my thick hair behind my ears and sniffled. "Would you like a ride?" She asked. "Could I call my best friend?" I questioned. She nodded and handed me the phone. I wiped a tear away and dialed Lizzy. The cold phone against my ear. "Hello," Lizzy answered. "Liz, Harry and I had a fight. Can you pick me up from his work?" I asked. "I'm coming," she sighed and hung up. I put the phone on the hook and walked toward the door. Suddenly, strong arms wrapped around me and held me back. "Don't leave me," Harry whispered. "I'm not leaving you. I'm just gonna go to your house tonight. You really hurt me. But I love you and I'll be back," I kissed his cheek and walked out into the frosty air. A car pulled up and Lizzy appeared. "Harley," Harry pulled me into a passionate kiss before going inside. I smiled faintly and made my way into the car. The warm air swept me and I felt much better. "So what happened?" Liz asked. "I don't wanna talk about it". "Where do you wanna go?" "The club".
