My Bullysitters

23. Lunch Detention For Two.

Katie's P.O.V

My stomach was basically screaming at me as I sat in the library. I had followed Harry's request by skipping the cafeteria, my stomach not so happy about my decision. I still didn't understand why he forbid me to eat in there.

I was bored out of my mind as I sat in the empty room. I don't understand why teachers never supervised these kind of things. Honesty, I could probably walk out of this room and no one would even notice. Sure, the detention will still be on my record, but I wouldn't have to actually sit through it. Being my goody-two-shoes self, I stayed put.

I decided to grab a book, considering I would be in here for the next forty-five minutes. My eyes became glued to the pages as I read about Percy Jackson and his quests. I guess you could consider me a geek when it came to Greek mythology. I had already read the series but didn't see any harm in rereading it for the time being.

"Do you ever do anything interesting?" A voice spoke, causing me to jump a mile high.

"Huh?" I asked, looking over my shoulder to find Harry walking towards me.

"I figured you would have bailed." He laughed, joining me at the table.

"I don't want to get in anymore trouble than I'm already in. Niall's going to flip when he finds out about this." I sighed, returning the book to it's spot on the shelf.

"Why? It's just lunch detention."

"I've never been written up before, Harry."

"There's a first time for everything I suppose." He laughed.

"This isn't funny." I stated, sitting back down. "Why are you in here anyway?"

"I might have gotten written up myself." He grinned.

"What? Why?"

"I wasn't in the mood for algebra today." He grinned. "I might have accidentally refused to do my assignment."

"Why would you do something like that?" I questioned.

"So our lunch plans would work out." He smirked, putting a bag that read 'Taco Bell' on the table.

"There had better be soft tacos in there." I giggled.

"Duh." He replied, rolling his eyes.

"You know you weren't supposed to leave campus." I stated, now working on my second taco.

"So. Does it look like anyone noticed?" He chuckled.

"Well thanks anyways. You didn't have to get yourself detention though."

"I don't care. I've been here quite a bit you know?" He smirked.

"Bad Harry." I said, trying not to laugh.

"Look who's talking!" He retaliated.

"Fine!" I said, raising my hands in defeat.

"So, are you going to tell me why you were late this morning?" He grinned, propping his feet up on the table.

"Um, it doesn't matter." I said, twisting the end of one of my napkins. I didn't want to start lying to Harry too, it being bad enough I already did to Niall.

"It does to me." He pried.

"Harry, just drop it. It's no big deal."

"Is something going on that I don't know about?" He asked, now harshly staring at me.

"No." I sighed. "If it's going to bug you so much then fine. I was simply in the bathroom. Happy?"

"In the bathroom for fifteen minutes?" He interrogated. "Doesn't sound normal to me."

"Fine. I really didn't want to talk about it, but if you must know there's this little thing a girl goes through every month-"

"Ok! Just stop there!" He said, instantly cutting me off. "You're disgusting."

"I'm human, and I could say the same about you." I replied.

"Of course I'm human." He grinned.

"I'm talking about the disgusting part you idiot."

"You know you love me." He smirked.

"In your dreams." I joked.

"Hey! I bought you lunch." He pouted.

I giggled before leaning over, kissing his pouted lips.

"Forgive me?" I giggled.

"I dunno." He smirked, leaning in again. We were cut off by the sound of the bell, already hearing the hallways fill up.

"Gotta go." I grinned, standing up.

"So, are you going to be a rebel now or what?" He teased.

"Calm down, Harry. I don't think we're Bonnie and Clyde material." I giggled.

"I think you're on your way." He said, draping his arm over my shoulder.

We then attended the rest of our classes, Harry trying to get me to ditch last period with him. He of course pouted the whole class time as I had refused to do so.

"Maybe next time." I lied as we walked to his car.

"Yeah right." He huffed, sliding into his seat.

"Get over it." I joked.

"How can I get over the fact that my girlfriend is a boring goody-two-shoes?" He whined.

"You know, you never technically asked me to be your girlfriend." I pointed out.

"Fine." He said, starting the car before turning to face me. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Wow, that's a special way to ask." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

I heard Harry sigh out in annoyance as we pulled out of the parking lot.

"What do you want me to do, write it in the sky with an airplane?" He joked, breaking the silence in the vehicle.

"That would be nice." I giggled.

"I'm joking, Harry." I said as we pulled up to the driveway.

"You still didn't give me an answer." He stated.

"Patience, Harry." I grinned, walking inside. I was then stopped by a red faced Niall.

"What's this I hear about you skipping class?!" He fumed.
