The Slytherin Scandal: Year Two

Sirius Black, a world renounced murderer, is an animagus. He is on the loose and for some reason is going to Hogwarts. But after Lea meets Sirius, she's not sure if all those things are true.

Things begin to get odd when Lea finds out that the new DADA professor is an old friend of Sirius'. On the first day back, she also learns her teacher's worst and most hated secret. What happens when those two meet and an old friend comes back from the dead?

"What are you doing here," Lea asked again, surprise on her face.

"I could ask you the same question," Remus said with narrowed eyes. He seemed confused and Sirius was starting to get suspicious.

"I'M here because I needed to come here. The voice in my head wouldn't shut up about it," Lea said glaring at Remus.

"You should get back to the castle," Severus said turning to look at me.

At that moment Harry whispered under his breath. "I need to know what happened to my parents." He looked at Hermione and Ron, who was on the bed and his leg was bloody. Lea hadn't smelled anything downstairs, but as she was in the doorway, the whole smell impacted her at once. She could smell the sweet metallic sent of his blood and she could hear his heart rate rising little by little.

Suddenly, Lea heard three cries of "EXPELLIARMUS!!" Harry, Ron, and Hermione had all said the same spell at the same time, rendering Severus unconscious.

Lea jumped back, eyes wide. "What did you do that for!?!?" Lea screeched.

"Explain," Harry said, pointing his wand at Remus while Ron pointed his at Sirius.

"We just hexed a teacher," Hermione cried as she looked at Severus' unconscious form.

"Is he alive," Harry asked, getting a bit nervous.

Lea leaned down and and checked both Severus' breathing and pulse. Both were fine, but Lea didn't doubt that Severus would have a huge headache when he woke up.

"He's going to be fine," Lea sighed as she stood up.

"What's Snivellus doing here," Sirius asked with a small growl.

"Sirius, don't call him that," Remus reprimanded.

"I'll call him whatever I want," Sirius replied.

Lea sighed. This was going to take a while. That's when Ron's rat, Wormtail, rather, started to yell.

"Let me go!! I haven't done anything wrong, please," Wormtail squeaked. His voice got louder and louder as everyone ignored him, save Ron, who kept telling his rat to shut up and hold still.

Lea soon couldn't take the noise, and while Sirius was explaining why he was at Hogwarts, it got almost intolerable. As he was finishing his tale, and he had left out everything about Lea, considering he had no right to tell her secret. As he wound down his tail, and Remus was asking Ron for Wormtail, the squeezing became intolerable.

"SHUT UP!!!! CAN'T YOU BE QUIET, YOU LITTLE COWARDLY IDOIT," Lea screamed at the rat as she lost her patients. Some of the loudness was lost as rats could only talk so loud, and Lea was so exasperated that she actually yelled at Wormtail in rat tongue.

Everyone, but Remus, stared at her. Wormtail was so surprised that she spoke rat that he actually did shut up. Remus didn't really pay attention and asked Ron for the rat again. Sirius, Harry, Hermione, and Ron however were focused on Lea, along with Wormtail.

"What," Lea asked, startled now.

"You just squeaked like a rat," Hermione said, her voice a little higher than normally.

"No, no I didn't, did I?"

"Yes," Sirius said in his gruff voice.

"You let yourself slip up," Remus said as he focused on the way Hermione was looking at her.

"Oops," Lea whispered.

"What are you," Harry asked, curious, yet cautious.

"I'm...." Lea couldn't find the right words to describe herself.

"You can tell them tomorrow," Remus said. "Ron, may I have Peter?"

"He isn't Peter, he's Scabbers," Ron shouted at him.

"Give me that rat," Sirius said, taking a gab at Wormtail only to be held back by Remus.

"Ron," Remus began in a reasoning tone, "if the rat does turn out to be Peter, this spell will force him to reveal himself, if it is note it will not hurt the rat."

Ron thought this over for a moment and nodded. He handed  Wormtail, who had started to fight again. Remus waved his wand and Ron's rat began to grow. Soon, where 'Scabbers' had been, there stood a dirty, short, pudgy, rat faced man.

"Remus? Sirius? My old friends," Wormtail said and then tried to escape. After a while, everyone was convinced of what Wormtail had done after a confession of sorts.

Later, Wormtail was chained to Remus and Ron and told if he tried to escape that he would be killed. They were all walking out, Hermione beside Lea. She seemed to be fine with Lea talking with other animals, as long as she didn't do anything wrong.

As they walked, Harry and Sirius started to talk about Harry moving in. The things started to go horribly wrong.

First, as everyone got out a voice in Lea's head started to scream at her. It was so loud that her head started to hurt and Lea stopped in her tracks. And she had to or Lea would have fallen over.

'SMELL THE AIR!!! LOOK AT THE SKY!!!! THE MOON IS RISING!!!! GET EVERYONE OUT, REMUS WON'T BE IN CONTROL!!!!' The Wolf was yelling and Lea looked to see Remus staring at the moon. He was still chained to Ron and She pulled out her wand and blew it apart.

Lea helped Ron stubble back and the wind shifted a bit, but she took no notice. Soon Remus was in his wolf form and lunged at them.

Suddenly Remus was blasted back by a curse from Harry. He shook his head to get the static out and sniffed the air.

The wolf smelled a familiar sent. The female human, she was there. He had bitten her and she was part of the pack, he she was not a wolf. Why was she so strange? Then the wolf saw a adult male come into view and smelled him. He placed himself between the younger ones as he tried to protect him.

He lunged again and swiped a paw at the dark haired man. It caught the man and he tumbled away, hurt and was no longer a concern.

Lea watched as Severus was pushed out of the way. Then, Sirius was biting Remus' shoulder. Remus threw him off and went straight for the teens.

Then a powerful burst of wind carried a sent that Lea could identify anywhere. Actually, two. One was Raven, her cat was in the woods with another human, Draco.

As soon as Remus smelled the air, he lost interest in the group. Lea saw him shift his focus to the woods and she could see a figure stiffen. The wolf and Lea looked at each other and both took off running at the figure. Lea was easily falling behind the werewolf and she needed more speed to out run the wolf than if she was in werewolf form.

Lea made a quick decision, Lea abandoned all her hope to keep anything a secret and changed into a unicorn, pink with a blue horn. She ran and soon passed the wolf and a few seconds later, stopped I front of Draco, who was staring at.

Lea quickly let the unicorn shape drop to reveal her as a human.

"What-" Draco started to ask.

"Never mind, I'll tell you later. Right now, shut up and get on," Lea said, once again changing into unicorn form. Draco stood there, stunned and then a howl brought him back. He clambered on Lea's back and gripped her mane like it was his life rope, which it was.

As Draco leaned forward, Raven jumped onto Lea's head. "What were you doing bringing him here," Lea asked Raven, which wasn't hard. All animals have one language that they use to talk to one another (sort of like Spanglish; a Spanish English mix), Lea used this now.

"I wanted to watch you. I invited Dragon along and he came. I had no idea that the Moon-hunter would get loose," Raven hissed in response. Draco noticed and unclenched a hand to pat her head, but after a quick bust of speed, he thought better of it and accidentally pulled at Lea's hair. This made her flick ear at Draco in annoyance.

"Sorry," he mumbled.

"What's a Moon-Hunter," Lea asked Raven distractedly.

"It's what you and Wolfman are," Raven said, using her favorite name for Remus.

Lea ran for a long time, everyone had lost track of time, and, it seemed, the wolf. Lea, panting, and barely able to pant at that, stopped in a clearing as the moon started to sink back to earth.

Draco promptly fell off, his whole body hurting from riding a galloping unicorn, with no saddle.

"Ow," Draco moaned.

"Try running with another person on your back," Lea complained. She could barely keep enough control so she would turn into a wolf, and even if she did, it wasn't like Lea would loose control. They stayed like that for a while, maybe half an hour or so, both laying in a clearing about to fall asleep.

That's when the growls started.
