10. What do I do?

I sat on my couch flipping through countless channels but nothing interested me. I sighed and turned the tv off and tossed the remote to the other side of the couch. I didn't know what to do. All I could think about was the note I got earlier. I had tried to stay distracted but after messing up my studio and cleaning it up and channel surfing a million times, I still couldn't think of anything else. The note still sat on my table and it seemed to almost glow and mock me from where I was. I felt my phone buzz and saw a call from Louis. I sighed as I picked it up.

"Hey babe,"  I answered.

"Hey love," I heard Louis said. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

"I'm ok," I said. I didn't really feel as if I was lying this time. I wasn't in the best mood.

"Well I'm going to stop by for a bit just to see you. Ok?" he asked. I nearly dropped my phone.

"No, no, you don't have to do that. I'll just see you tomorrow at school," I said. "I don't want to get you sick," I said as I pretended to cough.

"Well if your sure," Louis said. "I'll walk you to school tomorrow. Ok?" he asked.

"Yea sure. See you then," I said as I quickly hung up

There was the guilty feeling again. I sighed as I tossed my phone next to the remote. I stood up and walked over to my little fridge. I pulled out a Dr Pepper and opened it and nearly downed it right there. I still didn't know what to do. I heard my phone going off and One Direction singing. Great. I didn't feel like talking to Kayla right now. I walked over to the couch and answered the phone.

"What do you want Kayla?" I asked.

"Whats wrong with you?" Kayla asked.

"What are you talking about. I'm fine," I said.

"Please! I know you! Your not fine. Something is bugging you, now spill!" she ordered. I sighed.

"Well I got a note today telling me to stay away from Louis, and I don't know what to do," I said. "I've been telling Lou that I've been sick just to made sure nothing happens."

"Oh," she mumbled. "Well that is hard," she said. "Let me get back to you with that," she said as she hung up on me.

"Wow, you were such a great help," I said to some invisible person. I sighed again and sat down on my bed and slowly feel into a restless sleep.
