15. Morning 14

It's interview day again here in the Celebrity Real World house. Everyone has been a little tense since yesterday because of Phoebe. She really is not being a team player whatsoever.

Kaya's Interview

Interview: Good morning Kaya. It's seven am, I didn't think anyone in the house would be awake for awhile.

Kaya: Well, I figured I'd get up early and go for a walk. Need to clear my mind.

Interview: I'm guessing there is a lot of tension in the house now, with Phoebe not helping anyone out?

Kaya: You have no idea. It's so frustrating to think that someone is acting like a child when they are one of the oldest in the house. It's quite ridiculous if you ask me. I truly wish she would just grow up.

Interviewer: Do you think the work will be easier this week?

Kaya: I don't think any of this work will ever really be easy. Luckily I checked the weather report and it's suppose to rain soon. If it rains then that means we don't have to carry that much water up.

Interviewer: So you are adjusting to the work well then?

Kaya: I think we all are, aside from Phoebe. I mean Lucy works just as hard as us keeping everything clean and keeping us fed. She is great at managing everything and I'm not just saying that. I just wish Phoebe would help her out a little around the house.

Interviewer: Would you say you are use to getting little sleep because of your career?

Kaya: I mean, I can say I've gone a few days on only two or three hours of sleep but it doesn't compare to this. It really makes you realize how much hard work some people put into their farms because they cannot afford the expensive machinery. And honestly, after this experience I will never want to work on a farm again. I will stick to acting.

Interviewer: *laughs* Well that's good to hear. I know we are all happy to hear that you will continue to act after this and not just become a farm hand. How would you describe the work to the viewers though?

Kaya: It's tough work and if this house didn't have strong guys like we do we wouldn't be able to carry enough water up the that hill. Harry and Jake are champions. They literally have to be about to die before they let Jayden or George take over. But sometimes it's good because I know I'm not use to this type of heat and Jayden takes a lot less, and I do mean a lot less, breaks than the rest of us when he is in the fields.

Interviewer: So, my last question is now that you are working is there still romance brewing?

Kaya: I personally cannot even think about a relationship right now. I'm far more worried about making sure everything else is in order.

Interviewer: That's understandable. I hope this upcoming week is a little easier for you. And I will see you next Saturday.

Harry's Interview

Interviewer: Good morning Harry. You are up rather early?

Harry: Kaya came back into the room and woke me up. She didn't mean to but it's far too late anyway.

Interviewer: It's 7:45 in the morning Harry.

Harry: We have work to do.

Interviewer: So you aren't going to take the day off? It is calling for some rain.

Harry: I want to be prepared just in case it doesn't rain. Just because the weather man says it is going to rain doesn't exactly mean it will rain.

Interviewer: Oh, are you going to wait for the others to finish their interviews so they can help you?

Harry: It's pretty cool outside right now so it would be best if I go ahead and get started. You know? That's why I'm doing this interview now.

Interviewer: Okay, I'll try to make this quick for you then. I just have two questions for you that we really want to know.

Harry: I'm ready when you are.

Interviewer: Are you purposely working harder to impress Kaya?

Harry: *laughs* I mean, I am attracted to her and she is so easy to get along with. I do believe I could see us being in a relationship away from this house. I guess maybe I am trying to show off a little bit. I know I'm making Jake a little jealous.

Interviewer: Do you feel bad about making Jake jealous?

Harry: Jake is like a brother to me so I guess this is all just friendly competition.

Interviewer: My final question is, how do you feel about Phoebe still being in the house?

Harry: It's becoming quite annoying. She stays in her room all day then comes down and uses food she didn't help earn. Then she spends the day by the pool and goes back to her room. Also, she takes ridiculously long showers so I am hoping for rain just because George and I went to check the well level the other day.

Interviewer: Is it looking bad for you all?

Harry: It's getting close to being in the red level which is never good. Rain would be a great thing right now.

Interviewer: Well I'd like to thank you for your time Harry. I hope everything works out for you all. I will see you next week.

Harry: Thank you.

Harry walked into the kitchen where Kaya was stirring a cup of tea.

"I'm going down to the river to get some more water, just in case it doesn't rain," Harry said taking a glass out of the cabinet.

"You are what?" Kaya sounded shocked.

Harry continued to pour him some milk in the glass. He was mid-gulp when Kaya walked over to get into his face.

"No you aren't Harry. You need to rest," she sounded like a mother. "I won't let you go alone. Wait, and I'm sure one of the guys will finish their interview and they'll go with you."

"I can do it by myself," Harry smirked as he set down the glass.

"Harry, stop."

"Kaya, we need the water."

"Fine, I'm coming with you then."

"Ugh Kaya," Harry moaned in complaint. He headed out the back door hoping she wasn't serious about tagging along.

Lucy's Interview

Interviewer: Well, hello Lucy. How are you?

Lucy: I'm good. How are you?

Interviewer: Fine, thank you. So how have you been adjusting to the new work?

Lucy: Honestly, I'm really glad I don't have to work in the fields. Keeping up the house is a little difficult especially with Phoebe messing up things sometimes but I am glad I can help them. I was a little pathetic in the fields. *laughs*

Interviewer: I wouldn't say that. So how is Phoebe and your relationship?

Lucy: I'm honestly very pissed with her. I asked her to just do some laundry just to help me out a little bit because I was trying to manage our food and prepare dinner before the rest of the house got back. She accused me of being selfish.

Interviewer: Is it hard to manage all the food?

Lucy: Yes, you never realize just how much food it takes to feed a group of seven people when you are on a budget. I stress every minute if we are going to have enough.

Interviewer: Well my last question is, do you still feel like love will happen in the house?

Lucy: The only couple I can see happening is Harry and Kaya. They always are together it seems like to me. Jake also seems to like Kaya so I'm not sure. And nobody in the house, aside from me yelling at her, talks to Phoebe.

Interviewer: So you don't have any feelings toward the guys?

Lucy: *blushes* I mean, I do like Jayden but only time will tell if things will actually go anywhere.

Interviewer: Well thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to come down and talk to me. It was a pleasure as always.

George's Interview

Interviewer: George, are you even awake right now?

George: Yeah.

Interviewer: I think you need a few more hours of sleep dear.

George: *yawns* No, *yawns* I'm fine.

Interviewer: Well I'm only going to ask you two questions then you can head on back to sleep.

George: Okay.

Interviewer: What is the work like?

George: I would rather do anything else.

Interviewer: *laughs* Okay, George. And lastly, do you feel like you could find love in the house? Or is the work load too much to even think about love?

George: There is no free time so I don't see any relationships happening.

Interviewer: Okay, thank you George. Go back to sleep.

George: Night night.

"Kaya stop. I can carry a few gallons of water to the barrels by myself," Harry protested as Kaya carried two jugs down the hill.

"Nope, if you want to be stubborn then guess what? I'm going to be right here with you."

"Kaya!" Harry yelled running down the hill after her. "Just stop this. Go back to the house, please."

"You aren't the only one who has to carry the water Harry."

Harry sighed and dropped his jugs, taking Kaya's and throwing them on the ground.

"Fine, let's both go back to the house," Harry said making little space between their faces.

Jake's Interview

Interviewer: Well, good morning Jake.

Jake: I don't know how good it is.

Interviewer: What's wrong?

Jake: I think I hurt my shoulder sometime this week.

Interviewer: Have you talked to the medic yet?

Jake: I just left from meeting with the medic. It doesn't seem good but he isn't one hundred percent sure of what it is. He said I could have tore something in my shoulder or it could just be a little sore. I have to go see him again next Saturday. Unless, of course it gets worse than I am to see him immediately.

Interviewer: Oh, I'm so sorry Jake. Are you going to tell the others about your shoulder?

Jake: Of course not. The medic didn't tell me I couldn't work. I have responsibilities and I have to do them. I can't back out just because my shoulder is a little sore.

Interviewer: Well, I think the others would understand.

Jake: I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to pull a Phoebe and not help out.

Interviewer: I don't think that is what they will think of the situation. I'm sure if you just talk to them about it everything will be okay.

Jake: Maybe, but I also don't want to be seen as weak. It's probably nothing anyway. Maybe I just have been sleeping on it wrong.

Interviewer: So, I'll only ask you one question so you can go get some ice and put on that shoulder. Do you feel like any love is blossoming in the house?

Jake: I think the only relationship that is bound to happen is Lucy and Jayden. The two of them just seem perfect for each other in my opinion.

Interviewer: Alright Jake. I hope the shoulder gets better. Go put some ice on it.

Jake: *laughs* Okay thanks.

"Harry, I don't want you to hurt yourself over the water. Let George and Jayden take over the water for the week. Please, for me," Kaya said staring back into Harry's eyes.

Kaya drew in a deep breathe as she was becoming dazed by Harry's bright green eyes. Lately the green was becoming brighter and more mesmerizing to look at.

"Kaya," Harry whispered barely parting his lips. "I like you, a lot."

"I know, but," and before Kaya could let out the rest of her sentence Harry covered his small mouth will his lips. Kaya didn't pull back and didn't resist. Instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck while his hands ventured onto her waist.

"I've been dying to do that," Harry whispered as soon as they broke apart.

"Me too, but," Kaya started again. "I like Jake too."

"Oh," Harry felt lost for words and the one syllable sound was the only thing that he could manage at the moment.

"I'm sorry. Can we keep this kiss a secret? Because I don't know what I want," Kaya said taking a step back. Harry couldn't even speak the only thing he could do is nod.

Phoebe's Interview

Interviewer: Well, Phoebe I honestly didn't believe that you would show up to do an interview this morning.

Phoebe: Why wouldn't I? I know all my roommates are down here talking bad about me. I have to defend myself from their ignorance.

Interviewer: Well, let's begin then.

Phoebe: Yes, let's begin.

Interviewer: Why is it such a big deal for you to help out around the house?

Phoebe: Because it is not the reason I came out here. I was told this would be like a vacation but with six people I may or may not know. And trust me I wish I never came out here. I could have had a better vacation by myself.

Interviewer: So you just thought you would live a beautiful house for free?

Phoebe: It sure would increase the market value. Wouldn't it?

Interviewer: I don't believe so.

Phoebe: People always want to buy houses that celebrities lived in. I thought that is all this was.

Interviewer: Okay then. Are you really going to leave after the month trial period you agreed to?

Phoebe: Well, now I'm having so much fun here bothering the other roommates. I don't think I will leave.

Interviewer: Well then. Thank you for your time Phoebe.

Phoebe: That's all?

Interviewer: Yes, that is all for this week.

Phoebe: Hmm, okay them. See you next week.

Jayden's Interview

Jayden: Good day ma'am.

Interviewer: You see a little more awake than the rest of your roommates were when they came by.

Jayden: Just happy to know that my band's single is doing great on the Australian charts. I'm just really proud right now.

Interviewer: Well that is fantastic. I'm proud of you.

Jayden: Thank you.

Interviewer: Well, how are you adjusting to the work?

Jayden: I mean it is nothing like the work I have done in Australia. That is for sure. It's hard and I think the Brits are the ones it is affecting the most.

Interviewer: Oh how do you get to that?

Jayden: Well, I work in the fields most of the time with Kaya and George. They take a lot of breaks. I mean we all take breaks but it seems to me they are always taking three before I take one.

Interviewer: Does that bother you?

Jayden: Not at all. I think it's the heat that gets to them. I mean, I can say I'm use to working in hotter conditions so I respect that they try unlike Phoebe. That's the thing that bothers me about her because she didn't even try. Like she could have at least tried.

Interviewer: I understand. There is a little bit of buzz between you and Lucy what do you think about that?

Jayden: I guess you'll have to wait to find out just like me.

Interviewer: Alright well thank you for your time Jayden.
