Searching (Niall Horan Fanfiction)

"One look, one night, one simple silent glance and that was all it took. I had to find her. And somehow, some way, I would find her, even if that meant searching the entire world to see her eyes again." ~Niall Horan

2. Chapter 2

The urge was overwhelming. More than anything I had ever faced before. To find Niall. It was so powerful. I actually started doubting myself. Was I going crazy? I couldnt drop everything and chase after a band member who didnt even know I existed until tonight. And even if I did find him, what would he say? 'Thanks for bringing my hat back.' And that would be it. So why did I feel like I was drowning? The pressure in my chest was over bearing. I spun on my heel to go back inside. Lola was in the doorway watching me as I wiped my tears. She gave me a confused look. "What are you doing? Why are you crying?" I shook my head. "I missed my chance. I wad too late." "Is that Niall's hat?" Lola said. I looked down to my hands staring at his hat and nodded. "I called out to him but he kept going. He threw his hat though." Lola gave a smile. "Are you gonna keep it?" I walked past her back into the church where Marissa sat on the counter eating left over pizza, swinging her feet. "Well what else am I suppose to do?" I replied. "Bring it to him." "Yeah right! He will be gone in a few hours." Lola gave me a look. "He wouldnt have left the hat if he didnt want you to find him." "Wait, what?" Marissa asked. I looked to her and sighed. I placed the hat on the counter before I went to start stacking chairs. I felt so useless. "You have to find him!" Marissa said rushing up to me. I shook my head. "Hes a star. Im just me. And what would I say?" "You'd figure it out," Lola smiled and took my hand and led me from the room with Marissa right behind us. I heard Marissa's keys jingling as she walked. Lola flicked off the lights and led me to the car and I sighed getting in, leaning my head against the window to close my eyes and lose myself in thought. Niall's POV: "Please, we have to go back!" I shouted to the bus driver. He shook his head at me, "Niall you know I cant do that! It will put us way off track." "You dont understand!" I said helplessly. He kept his head straight ahead. "You dont either. This is my job on the line." "This is my heart on the line! She could be the one and Im losing her! With every second we drive away!" "No more Niall." He said finally. I slammed my hand into the wall of the bus before walking away to sit on one of the built in couches, as far from the boys as possible.
