Hi, I'm Your Daughter

"Fourteen years ago, you and someone else had a baby. I am that baby." Rose has always been a foster kid. Because of heart issues when she was born, she was never adopted. That is, until she finds her birth parents. She just never expected them to be Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder.

7. Who?

A/N: Sorry for the wait. I promised you guys another chapter. So this is it. (I was out till really late last night. My mother had company over.)

I got into the black car and jumped when I almost bumped into the mysterious dude with the green eyes. He looked at me, a smirk on his face, slightly amused.

"What are you smiling at?" I spat. He shrugged and then looked away. Ugh, who WAS he? I leaned over towards the driver's seat and smiled sweetly at Louis' driver Robert.

"Hey, Rob, how was your day?" I asked really sweetly. He chuckled.

"I'm sorry, Miss Rose, but I have to drive you to your mother's house. Orders." I groaned loudly as I sat back into my seat.

"She's not even going to be home when I get home," I mumbled.

"It's the custody that your parents agreed to," said Robert. I sighed loudly.

"How was school?" he asked. I looked into his rear view mirror.

"Oh I made tons of new friends and my only friend isn't a twelve year old and no one hates me," I said cheerfully.

"That bad, huh?" asked Rob. I sighed.

"The worst." Finally we got back to Eleanor's house. I glared at the little cottage.

"See you tomorrow, Rob. Tell Louis I say hey," I said as I left the car. I stared at the boy with green eyes.

"Bye," I said pointedly. He looked over at me. And then looked away.

"Okay..." I said as I closed the door. As Rob drove away I wondered what that guy's problem was. I opened the door and yelled that I was home only to receive silence in response. I dropped my book bag on the floor next to the door and walked into the kitchen, my stomach growling. Deciding on mac and cheese, and started the stove and put a pot of water on it. I dried my hands with a towel and then heard my cell phone ring from my book bag.

"Oh my God, Katie!" I cried, dropping the towel. I ran over to my bag and searched for the ringing phone. Finally feeling the smooth cold metal, I lifted it and answered the phone.

"Katie!" I greeted loudly.

"Hey hey Ro, how's the new living arrangement?" asked Katie.

"Terrible," I said as I headed up towards my room.

"Really that bad?"

"I just... I mean, Louis is great. He's a great dad. And he tries, you know. But Eleanor... I feel like she doesn't want me here. That I just remind her of something she has been trying to forget about for fourteen years," I said, picking at my uniform.

"Wait.... Your dad is Louis and Eleanor? As in...Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder?" she almost shrieked.

"Oh...Yeah... I didn't tell you that?" I laughed nervously.

"NO! YOU DIDN'T!" she screamed as I pulled the phone away from my ear and winced.

"I must've forgot."

"You forgot? Forgot that both your parents are RIDICULOUSLY famous?? Or well...was in Eleanor's case."

"It never really came up... How's school?"

"Ohhh no you don't. Don't change the subject."

"...Katie. I really don't want to talk about this..." There was silence on her end.

"Okay. Fine. School is terrible without you..."

"I'm sorry. I wanted to stay... But my parents wanted me to go to some preppy private school," I said annoyed. She then asked me about my day and I recounted the events that happened with Stella and Eli and the green eyed boy. Then I brought up Casey.

"She sounds cool," was her response. Then she had to go, she couldn't stay on the house phone too long because Mrs. Ketterly was expecting a very important call. We said good bye. I laid down on my bed and shut my eyes just to rest...but ended up falling asleep.

I woke up feeling uncomfortable and in a fit of coughs. When I opened my eyes, I almost shrieked. The house was on fire.

Shit. Eleanor's going to kill me.

I kept coughing as I got out of the bed. I opened up my bedroom window and looked out, a billow of smoke exiting through it. I coughed as the smoke kept getting into my lungs. There were sirens and firemen.

"Oh my God!" I heard Eleanor's voice as her car pulled up with Charlie. I coughed some more, my sight going fuzzy. Suddenly my sight was sideways, and I realized that I had collapsed.

"ROSE!" I heard Eleanor's voice reach a ridiculous pitch as she screamed. It was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

I heard arguing as I regained consciousness.

"...If your driver let her come..."

"...I cannot believe you're actually blaming me for..."

"...How would it possibly be MY..."

"...Maybe if you came home earlier...."

"...You know what, Louis? You're just a..." I coughed and opened my eyes. Eleanor and Louis paused and looked over at me.

"Rose? Rose, honey," said Eleanor as she came closer to my bedside. I involuntarily flinched at her touch as I coughed again. Her face was expressionless but her eyes betrayed that she was hurt.

"What happened?" I asked, my voice coarse.

"The house burned down, and you collapsed," said Louis as he sat down on my bed.

"The doctor is letting you out soon. You didn't inhale too much smoke," said Eleanor.

"What about the house? Where are we going to live?" I asked, panicking. Did I already ruin my chances with my parents? Louis' smile grew very big as he looked over at Eleanor. She blew a piece of hair out of her face and looked away as her lips tightened.

"Well, my house is big enough for all of you so..."

"We're going to be living with Louis for a while," Eleanor said, her annoyance slipping into her voice. I smiled back at Louis.

"That sounds like fun," I said.

We walked into Louis' mansion as he gestured grandly towards it, as if saying 'ta-da'. Eleanor wasn't happy because all of her stuff had been burned down and she was stuck with her ex boyfriend. Charlie didn't really care. Or if he did, he didn't show it.

"Where's Harry?" I asked looking around.

"Probably watching something," said Louis absentmindedly.

"How about you go get ready for bed or something?" asked Eleanor, "It's late."

"Whatever," I said. I headed up towards my room and looked around. At least I still had some stuff. Changing into my pajamas, I grabbed my toothbrush and headed into the hallway towards the bathroom. I opened it up without thinking and then my eyes widened. The boy with the green eyes was standing in front of me. My eyes started to wander and then I squeaked and covered my eyes.

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??!" I yelled as I tried to blindly back out of the bathroom.

"Um, I could ask you the same thing. You're not supposed to be here during the weekdays," was his response.

"PUT ON SOME CLOTHES!" I screamed at him while running out of the bathroom.

Louis walked towards the den room and found Harry watching a romantic comedy.

"Did you hear Rose screaming?" asked Louis. Harry looked up and laughed a little.

"Guess she met Alex," was Harry's response.

"Why are you HERE?" I asked frantically from outside of the bathroom door.

"I was taking a shower. Why are YOU here?"

"My HOUSE burned down," I said.

"You burned down your own house?" he asked. I could hear the amusement in his voice.

"It wasn't like that..." I started angrily, but my sentence drifted away as he opened door, only wearing pants. I swallowed.

"Uh...um..." I stammered staring at his muscular chest. I shook my head and then forced myself to meet his eyes, "You never answered my question. Who are you? What are you doing here?" He was smirking at me, his eyebrows raised. Obviously noticing how red my face was.

"I'm Alex. Alexander Styles," then he leaned really close to my face, "I live here." My eyes widened as he walked away.

"Styles? As in... Harry Styles?? Wait..." I called after him. He didn't stop walking.

"Yeah, he's my dad," he called over his shoulder.

Oh God.
