Hi, I'm Your Daughter

"Fourteen years ago, you and someone else had a baby. I am that baby." Rose has always been a foster kid. Because of heart issues when she was born, she was never adopted. That is, until she finds her birth parents. She just never expected them to be Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder.

2. Eleanor

Eleanor helped bring in some boxes into her new house.

"Here, let me help with that," said her boyfriend, Charlie. She smiled and let him take the boxes from her. She put her hands on her hips and looked up at the small cottage that she and her boyfriend had just bought. Living together, it was a big step in their relationship.

"Hey, babe? Do you know where I put the silverware?" Eleanor called as she rummaged through boxes. He laughed from across the room, and picked up a book.

"You scrapbook?" he asked, a big smile on his tanned face. She rolled her eyes and reached for it.

"Give me that," she said. His smile grew bigger as he opened it up and started thumbing through it. Eleanor ran towards him and jumped onto his back, trying to get the scrapbook back. She laughed as she couldn't reach for it. Then he held still.

"Who's this?" he asked, his eyebrows scrunched together. Eleanor snatched the scrapbook out of his hands and put it under a box really quickly.

"No one, really. Just someone I used to know," she explained quickly. His confused frown quickly turned back into his easy smile, "Now, the silverware?" She laughed a little as she turned back around to rummage through more boxes. There was silence on his end. She frowned and turned around, but gasped at the sight in front of her. Charlie kneeled down on one knee, holding a small velvet box.

"Eleanor... We've been together for a few years now, and I've realized that I don't want to spend the rest of my life with anybody else. Will you marry me?" She stared at him in shock, an answer not forming in her mouth. It was like all the moisture was sucked dry.

"Oh...Oh...I...uh..." That's when the phone rang, "I need to get that." Running over, saved by the bell, Eleanor picked up her cell phone.

"Hello? Eleanor speaking."

"Hey, Eleanor..." The voice was semi familiar, but she couldn't place it, "It's Louis. You know, Louis Tomlinson?" Eleanor felt the blood in her body freeze. Every single cell in her body was screaming his name. Breathing heavily, she slammed the phone down and turned back around with wide eyes.

"Who was that?"

"Wrong number," Eleanor said quickly before running up the stairs.

"El? El, are you okay?" asked Charlie.

"Yeah! I'm fine! Just a girl thing," she called over her shoulder. Underneath her arm, though, she was clutching the scrapbook. She opened up to the many pages of pictures of her and Louis together. Her fingers ran over the glossy face of his, before turning each page. Soon, the pictures changed back to her, and her progressively growing belly. She ran her fingers through her hair in agony and frustration. If Charlie found out.... If Charlie found out, would he still love her?

Eleanor lifted up her head.

Charlie wasn't going to find out.

She was going to make sure of that.

Getting up, she went to the living room and started up the fireplace. Just as Charlie came back into the room, she threw the scrapbook into the fire, and watched as the flames hungrily tore apart the glossy pictures, the memories that she so desperately wanted to forget.

"Why are you--"

"Oh, I thought reminiscing was sort of stupid. So I decided it needed to go," Eleanor said in an excuse. He looked at her like she was crazy, but laughed and sat down next to her, hugging her with one arm.

"So, you never did get to answer my question," he said, holding up the ring. Eleanor stared at it for a long time before meeting his big brown eyes.

"Yes. Of course," she said nodding her head. She put her head in the crook of his neck as the hugged. She stared at the ring that now rested on her finger. Mentally sighing, she hugged Charlie tighter.

Why did Louis call, was the lingering question in her mind. Not 'Oh my cheese and crackers Charlie finally proposed!' No, it was about Louis. Charlie pulled apart and smiled easily at her.

"I'm gonna go to the grocery store. Do you want Chinese for dinner?" he asked.

"Chinese to celebrate our engagement?" she joked. He nodded his head eagerly. She laughed.

"Sure." He smiled and said something that Eleanor couldn't hear for her heart was beating so hard in her ears. She heard the door close and she stared at the fire.

That's when she heard a knock again.

"What? Did you forget your keys?" she called in a playful manner, opening the wooden door. The smile faded when she opened it though. Standing in front of her was Louis Tomlinson. She quickly shut the door, but he stuck his foot out, hindering her from slamming it shut.

"Ow," he said.

"What do you want?" she hissed. He stepped aside and revealed a young girl with waist long light brown hair and big blue eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me we had a daughter?" he asked quietly.
