Camp Direction *Complete*

Amber, Emily, Olivia, Delaney, and Sarah make up the girl band Dangerous. They won their way into a camp for aspiring singers and others in the music business. They are so happy to finally have they dream of possibly becoming a real band come true. There's one thing though, the owners of the camp are the hot new boy band: One Direction. And they fall head over heels for these girls, but the girls have hearts of stone.

47. Fourth Of July

*Hours Later*

"I'm so glad we made a ton of food," Emily whispers to me as she walks by. Not only did everyone we planned to come, but so did Mix It Up and a couple of their friends. A few other people just showed up and they're getting on just fine. Overall, it's a nice little party.
"When do the fireworks start!?" someone shouts.

"As soon as it gets dark!" I shout back. Then I go back to eating. Harry should be coming out any second.

"Hey babe," hot lips touch my forehead for a few seconds.

"Oh, just sit down."

"How's your Fourth of July going?" Harry sits down next to me on the blanket we have lied out on the front lawn.

"It's very nice. More people showed up then I planned. But whatever."

"It's nice. They probably had nowhere else to go."

"Probably. So who's doing the fireworks?"

"Um, I don't know."

"Sarah might want to. Zayn can help her."

"That sounds like a plan."

"Niall! Don't eat that! You dropped it on the ground!" Emily shrieks.

"Calm down, Em. I was just joking," Niall throws away whatever food had hit the ground into the trash.

I giggle, "Those two are so cute."

Harry laughs, "You are so cute when you giggle and then say something like that."

"Oh shush," I give him a little shove. "I can't wait until the fireworks."

"Me either. I like what you guys do on this day."

"It's the day in 1776 when we got out independence. A very special day for the United States."

"Very special indeed."

"I hope I'll get to spend even more Fourth of July's with you."

"Me too, Buttercup. Me too."

*Even More Hours Later*

Another firework explodes and my grip on Harry's hand tightens. It's been a while since I last was at a Fourth of July party with fireworks. They still kind of freak me out.

"Babe, my hand. Lighten up," Harry chokes out.

I quickly lighten up on Harry's hand. "I'm so sorry. The fireworks just scare me a little."

"A little? I'm surprised I still have a hand."

I let go of his hand completely. "On Wednesday, can we go on a date?"

"Sure. What do you want to do?"

"Swim. It's been a while."

"Okay," Harry grabs my hand. "I was only joking. Don't ever let go of my hand," Harry whispers into my ear.

A chill runs down my spine. Harry's so sweet to me. I was so mean to him at the start. How did this whole relationship work out to be what it is today? No matter how, I'm glad it did.
