When the War began, there was no conflict.

When the war began, there was no conflict, just a silent invasion, creeping in bit by bit. Only now that we have lost do we fight, our King was assassinated. He left us, leaving his loyal subjects unprotected from the virus. Many caught it, never to come around, some did, some saw it's beauty and let it take them, before realizing that beauty was a lie, and some, some stayed strong and fought, and they still fight for FREEDOM! This is the Land of Movellas, or should I say Erotica?

We are slaves to an empire, where safe is a word used only by citizens, the outcasts will fight, for as long as it takes, because the rebels will restore the Land to Movellas and they will make it powerful once again!

I hope you like this book, it's suppose to portray what Movellas was and what it is now. It's a kind of fun story, follow the hero's. (They may or may not be real people from Movellas)

Thank's for reading!

21. Chapter 20

Mels POV

After moving Mina into a chair next to Shire, I felt a sense of relief, which vanished as soon as LMH was left in the shackles next to me. She smiled as they bolted the door and left, no guards no nothing, "They obviously underestimate us!" I pointed out, my head nodding in the door's direction. "So," LMH asked me, "What did the bitch do?"

"Nothing much," I told her before Shire gave me the evil's, "Just a little arm and shoulder breaking, a little strawberry yoghurt shower, or more shampoo with wax and corrosives," I smiled, "The usual."

In the dim light of the oil lamp, between the flickering shadows LMH looked carefully at the nape of my neck and my arms, the black scorch marks and fleshy pink burns would give most the idea to run or gag uncontrollably.

"Nice," Mina sighed, her words dripping with sarcasm, "Real fresh!"

Shire broke the silence, "Less talking and more getting the hell out of here"

"Works for me, and now LMH is here it is perfectos!" I laughed, "Let's go! Extra marks for killing sleeping monarchs"

After we had discussed the plan four times over we were ready, "Now, they were stupid enough to let me keep my bobby pins, which is stupid because it's obvious I don't tame my wild curls or keep my hair long, so why would I need bobby pins?" I asked them.

LMH smiled, "Let me get them," her being almost a foot taller than me it was easy, in no time LMH's shackles hung uselessly from the ceiling. "Welcome," I smiled politely, "Care to return the favour?" LMH had finished undoing all our shackles when we stood by the door, the open window was letting a breeze fly in, I looked down, three stories, a lot of lost brick, and then I saw a window leading straight to Curly's bedroom chamber, "LMH," I hissed, she turned around, "We go here, okay?" she nodded, letting Shire and Mels run out into the distance of the corridor. Let's go!

(*Shire's POV*)

I followed Mina down the corridor, trying to keep my footsteps as quiet as possible. There was not much light, so I couldn't helping slipping once or twice. It felt like someone had cleaned the floor with a mop so much it was now a wet, the slightly warmer version of trying to run on ice

But that's probably the point, right?

Without warning, Mina slowed up and then pushed herself against the wall in the shadows, I did the same but crouched down too as loud footsteps rang out. Enforcers? Whoever they were they were moving fast. Peering through the gloom I saw two figures turn the corner a few yards in front of Mina

"A steel dagger, the length of erm... my arm. Razor-sharp edges? Dark handle" I breathed a sigh of relief as it materialised in my hand, but it had been too loud. The figures stopped

"Who's there?"

"Step into the light!"

"Rusty? Myrah?"

"Shire! Are you alright? And what happened to Mel, Mina and LMH?" Rusty said, surprised, but happy to see me

"I'm here!" Mina stepped into the light "As for Mels and LMH, they must have gone a different way. They didn't follow us but there weren't any enforcers around either"

"Let's just get out of here, talk later. Whatever LMH and Mels are doing, chance are they'll be out of here before us" I ordered "And try not to wake anyone up! They may have left us alone, but I don't think it's down to underestimation or stupidity or forgetfulness. It's too forgetful to just happen.
