Tell Me A Lie (Sequel to Save You Tonight)

Will Nat and Louis ever get the chance to just be happy? Or will Jack tear them apart?

7. VII

Saying by to Harry and Kasey, I shut the door and bolted it shut. It was early evening and Nat was putting the twins to bed. I fumbled in my bag for a bit of paper, I felt myself growing nervous. “All done.” Nat’s voice startled me.

“Good, I have a little surprise for you.” I said nervously.

“I hope it’s a good one...” She said laughing.

“Well you know I said August 11th for our wedding?” She nodded. “I checked and it falls on a Saturday next year so I took it upon myself to book the church.” I handed her the bit of paper and she opened it, I could see her hands shaking.

“Oh Louis it’s... it’s perfect!” She wrapped her arms around me, almost squealing in my ear.

“I’m glad you’re happy about it. I didn’t want it come across the wrong way.”

She kissed me softly on the lips. “It would never come across that way. It’s an amazing gesture.”

I smiled. “Shall we go snuggle on the sofa?”

“I’d love to.”

We got ourselves comfy, wrapped in each others’ arms. Me and the boys had a week off and I wanted nothing more than to come home and I couldn’t have arrived at a better time. It scared me that he knew where we lived and could come anytime he likes. Nat was pregnant, needed as little stress as possible. There was two months left on the tour and all I could think about was making my family safer.

“Nat, shall we move?”

“What you mean?” She said sitting up.

“Like move house. Jack knows where we live, I know there’s a chance he’ll find us anyway but it might give us a little reprieve.”

“I don’t know Lou, the kids love it here.”

“I know but they’re not 100% safe, we daren’t let them play outside alone anymore.”

She sighed. “I know, you’re right, but I don’t know if I can deal with the stress that comes with moving house.”

“You won’t have to babe. There’s two months left of the tour, all you need to do is look for some places, me and the guys will do all the heavy lifting. I promise.”

“I think I can do that.” Her lips broke into a smile.

“Thank you. You’re amazing!!” I kissed her softly. “Can’t wait to see our little one in a couple of days.”

“Me neither, I think it’s a girl.” She said smirking.

“I don’t know what it is to be honest, but either way I can’t wait to meet them.”

“Me too! Fancy watching a movie?” She asked.

“Sounds good, I’ll go get munchies. You can choose.” I kissed her once more before disappearing into the kitchen. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. Everything was going swell and nothing, not even Jack, could stop it.
