Never Broken

Hannah's life is a living hell. Her mother died two years ago and her step dad abuses her everyday. She feels like she has no one in the world and that everybody would be better of without her. Can a certain curly haired boy change her opinion?

4. The truth

"When I was just 5 years old, my mother died in a car accident. She lost a lot of blood and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her. After she died, I had to go back and live with my dad. For the first couple of a weeks, he just sat there crying. Then he started drinking. He came home every night drunk as hell. He started hurting me," I lifted up my top to show them all my cuts and bruises. " He gave me all those. At first I thought it would pass but he never stopped. Then people at school saw them and started making fun of me, even the people who I thought were my friends. I felt like I had no one in the world. So..." I rolled up my sleeves and showed them my cuts. " I started cutting myself. I didn't know what else to do. I had no one to talk to, I felt like the world would be a better place without me," a few tears rolled down my cheek. By now all the boys were in tears after hearing my story. Niall came over to me and gave me a hug. It felt weird, I hadn't been hugged properly in ages. Suddenly, I was caught up in a big group hug with all the boys. I couldn't help but laugh. Harry looked at me, his face full of concern. "Hannah," he said to me. "Promise you'll never hurt yourself again?" I hesitated. "I have to do it, Harry. I have no one." He smiled at me. " Actually, that's not true," he replied brightly. " You have us." Hearing that lit me up inside. "Come on," he said to me. "I'll take you to your room,"
