Never Broken

Hannah's life is a living hell. Her mother died two years ago and her step dad abuses her everyday. She feels like she has no one in the world and that everybody would be better of without her. Can a certain curly haired boy change her opinion?

2. The Streets

Soon, I was out of breath and I had to stop running. As I bent over to catch my breath I realized that I had no longer idea where I was. Plus, it was getting late and very cold. I shivered uncontrollably. I'd never been a fan of the dark. I decided to go find some place to stay for the night but after walking around I realised there was no where to stay. I was in the middle of nowhere

Pretty soon I stumbled across a park so decided to go sit down. I plonked down on a park bench and hugged my knees. Soon, I began to cry. What was I going to do, I had nowhere to go. This made me cry even harder. I don't know how long I'd been sat there but I heard footsteps. At first I froze, thinking it was him coming to get me but then I realized it was just a stranger. "Hello," a British accent spoke up. This person whoever they were had obviously heard me crying. I heard them walking towards me and I his my face. I didn't want anyone seeing me like this. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder and my head shot up. A curly-haired boy was stood by me, a look of concern in his eyes. " You alright, love?" he asked me. I nodded not able to speak. "No offence, but you look a mess." he told me. I glared at him. " I'm sorry I look a mess," I replied sarcastically. " Maybe it's because I just left home" and I began crying again. This boy looked upset for me. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise," he said."If you need somewhere to stay you can come home with me." I thought about for a second then decided I had nothing to lose. So I got up and walked off with this boy.
