Forbidden ~ Harry Styles ~ (On Hold)

* Harry is not famous in this story *

Many say how there are two kinds of people in this world.

In Pax town there certainly are two kinds of very different people. I never really understood the name of our little town, after all "pax" means peaceful in latin, but believe me, we're anything but.

From a very young age I've been told to stay away from them. You may call them The Rebels, but out here everyone calls them the lower class, the scums, the bastards.

We are very different from them, like North and South, hot and cold; we're complete opposites. Besides the constant rumours about them going around, I can't help but think what it would be like to be them for a day....

My father would never allow it. He'd never let his only daughter do anything close to danger.
Apart from all the warnings, there's always one of the rebels who catches my eye.

I believe his name is Harry, Harry Styles.

10. Passionate Nights

My nerves died down a bit as one of the girls sent me a smile.

Perhaps I was exaggerating, the fact that they looked stronger than I would ever be seemed to be playing tricks on me.

The smell of bitter sweet perfume reached my senses as we too reached their table.

I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't strong.

"Avy, Shade, Lottes, this is Rachel."

Harry's deep voice boomed out, alerting our presence to every ear that heard his announcement.

The girls quickly broke out their smiles and I questioned myself on why I was so afraid of them only a few seconds ago.

"Harry!" The first girl who spoke was the one who had smiled at me.

I took a liking on her.

"Where were you, Haz?" The next girl had an aura of power and force. If her bulging muscles were anything to go by, then she is not the frightened kind of girl.

Lastly the third girl stepped up. She, unlike the others, had a calm environment around her. Even though she was much taller, she also looked kind.

"Good to see you again. Who's this?" Her voice was smooth with a rough edge to it. Perhaps caused by smoking.

For the first time that night I got my courage and introduced myself.

"I'm Rachel, it's great to meet you." I left my sentence open and friendly due to not knowing what name belonged to which girl.

The third girl smiled. I noticed that she did that a lot.

"And you too. My name's Lottes. This" she stopped and pointed to the first girl who had smiled at me, "is Avy, and this," she came to point at the rather rough looking young woman, "is Shade."

"You all have lovely names." It was the truth, they were unique.

"Well, I guess it's the whole rebel side. We do have very uncommon gifts." Shade punched my arm in a joking manner and I had to suppress the urge to rub the freshly red skin.

Harry saw this and put his arm around me, rubbing the exact spot.

"I think that we'll go get a drink and talk to the guys for a bit." He looked at me questionably and waited for my response.

"Don't take her away, Harry. We also want to get to know her."

Harry looked doubtful and as he gazed back at me I saw concert, as if he thought I was expensive glass about to break.

"We promise that we'll keep any of them ratty boys off your girl." This time Shade spoke. I didn't miss the little comfort that washed over Harry's features.

He pulled me back to him and kissed my cheek. He lazily gazed back at the three girls and grinned.

"If Rachel is up for it then so am I."

I nodded, and my arm was immediately tugged by Avy's stronger one.

Harry chuckled as they guided me away and deeper into the people.

There was so much to look at, and I felt strangely at home.

The girls were guiding me with so much experience that I didn't need to look.

That is until we stopped.

Standing in front of us was a girl. Her brown hair reached to just above her shoulders. Her features were sharp but did not stand out due to the scowl that she was sporting on her bright red lips. Although I had to admit that even scowling she was pretty.

I swallowed hard but didn't break eye contact when her eyes examined me.

All the girls stood next to me as if something was about to happen.

"What's this? Bringing pathetic rich kids here?" Her voice was hoarse, and the words were almost spat out.

"Give it a break. You can't mess with Rachel like you mess with everyone else." That was the first time that I heard Avy speak with so much anger.

"Avy, I thought you were going to be the first one to join me on this discussion. I guess you really are failing us."

Her point stayed on my mind. She was referring us all as two groups, and as enemies.

Although I was more then sure that I had never met her before in my life.

"How childish are you, Cashmere? This is Harry's girl and most importantly she's not one of them." I watched as Cashmere's face contorted to one of anger when she heard Lottes' words.

"You're hilarious, but Harry wouldn't bother with one of them, especially her."

My own anger was starting to rise with each word she said.

This was very rare, because I always tried to hold my anger back, but this girl knew how to push those buttons.

"Well he has. We knew you'd be glad to know."  Shade's flaunting smirk held a story behind it, but I was too worried staring down the rude intruder that was standing a few feet away.

"Oh, Shade. That doesn't work with me anymore. Can we all remember that I was the one who broke him?" Her tone held denial but not determination.

Without much thinking and the sweetest voice that I could muster, I spoke.

"Great, so you should have no problem with him bringing me here."

As I turned around, I saw the girl's shocked face's, and I kept walking I realized that my thoughts were also jumbled up.

Had I really just spoken like that? To someone that could potentially hurt me if they wished?

What had come over me.

"Wow, Rachel. Definitely underestimated you, maybe rich kids do know how to fight." Shade put her hands up in defense as she spoke.

Avy laughed and Lottes was about to say something but stopped mid-sentence.

I studied them out of confusion but they only smiled.

But it was not aimed at me. Instead it was to someone behind me.

That's when two arms wrapped around me and pulled me back into a chest.

His usual melodic laugh let me know that it was Harry.

"Relax, it's just me."

I realized then that my shoulders had gone a little stiff and so I released the tension.

"I hope that the girls weren't too hard on you. Can I steal her once more?"

They all nodded in unison, some faster than others.

Harry took my hand once more and started walking to the side of the event, where shady trees were laid.

As I glanced back at Avy, Shade and Lottes, I was sent a few winks.

A finger was placed against Lottes' lips, letting me know that our previous meeting would be stay hidden.

I smiled and slowly shook my head.

When I looked back at Harry, I found his curious green eyes gazing at me with so much emotion.

"How's your night so far?" We had reached the cover of trees which shaded us from the loud lights.

"It's been wonderful."

He grinned at me response and grasped both my hands as I leant against a tree.

The air around us was a little cold and the feel of Harry's breath on my cheek sent shivers through my body.

"Pretty good for some rebels, right?" Harry laughed at his own joke but he didn't understand how true it was.

Tonight had been really great, apart from the strange meeting with Cashmere, everyone had been better than I ever hoped.

"Definitely outstanding for rebels"

His husky chuckle interrupted the darkness and quietness of the night as I gazed at our intwined hands.

Never before had I realized how long his fingers really were. Or perhaps they were in comparison to mine.

Harry let out a sigh of comfort and I realized how close he really was now.

Even as I faced back up, our noses were almost making contact.

He let go of one arm and came closer.

Chest to chest.

Toe to toe.

I felt like we were sharing our oxygen as our breath mixed and warmth filled me.

"I wished I could've spent more time with you," his lips inched closer to mine, and the turned into a smile, "I would've made this night more special."

The rough bark of the tree behind me meant nothing to me and I felt as comfortable as ever.

Harry's arm was placed beside my head and his figure overpowered mine as he's cornered me against the tree.

Shading us from everyone else.

I glanced to his lips as he did to mine.

"It's already special," I swallowed as he licked his lips and tried to gather my courage for my next words, "but I think you could make it better."

It was barely a whisper and the fear of getting rejected struck me hard.

But instead he grinned and caressed my cheek with his rough thumb.

His lips connected to mine almost immediately.

My back slightly slumped against the tree as I guided my arm up and around Harry's taller frame.

As our lips molded together, he played with my bottom lip.

Harry lightly held my sides and stepped even closer.

Every part of our bodies was making contact.

His tongue slid past my lips and I gasped in surprise.

The new feelings that overtook me couldn't be compared to anything else.

His tongue felt rough against mine, as his hands moved against my body.

For the first time I put everything I had into the kiss.

As Harry's hand lightly caressed my thighs, I gasped with a new feeling of want.

Much too soon, it was time to catch our breaths.

As I drew back, Harry held me to his chest and I was sort ounces by his warmness.

Definitely made it more special.
