Three Words

Jordan Stewart, a junior in Alburry Hills High School, is not book smart nor is she street smart. She is just a regular girl with average grades and a decent piece of mind. The only thing in her way is the leather jacket and the black sun glasses, followed by the facial appearance of black hair and gorgeous hazel brown eyes.

9. Zayn's Point Of View

A/N: May I just inform you that this is the chapters above only in Zayn's POV. Yes, you may want to skimmy through it but It was just to show you how Zayn started to get closer to Jordan. I hope you Enjoy and please remember that it may be a bit boring because you've read this already haha:3 But still enjoy the POV of Zayn Malik(;

Zayn's POV: The first day of school? Classic! It was just a normal first day of school as always. I walked in and bam! Everyone was terrified. I walked to my buds and smirked at them.

"What's up, mates?" I ran my hand threw my hair as I sat down next to them.

"Nothing really, we're talking about how Stacy came back." Drake smiled, giving me a wink.

"Is she hot?" I asked, glancing over at a group of people I've seen before. Hey, it's that Stewart girl! Last year I use to bully the hell out of her. I think it was because she hung out with that Liam guy. Oh how we use to be best friends when we were little. There were very personal reasons that brought us to where we are today, but also because I bully him and Stewart.

"Of course she's hot. Dude, you could totally tap that." Jackson smiled, standing up from his table. I stood up to.

"Maybe. Hey, watch this." I smirked and walked over to her table. She glanced at me but quickly turned her head to Liam and Jesse. I smirked and grabbed her chair, pulling it out from underneath her. She fell face first onto to the floor in front of her, leave the guys and I laughing away.

"See you later, Stewart." I waved goodbye in a sarcastic way and walked off to class.

After the first class we had, I had a text from my ex asking for us to get back together. I was too worried about everything that I bumped into Stewart and said.. sorry? I should be bullying her like crazy, but of course, I was too worried and distracted. In the hall way, a girl stopped me in the hall and may I say she was just some fine piece of action.

"Hey, the name's Stacy." she winked, looking at my face. I gave out a chuckle.

"So you're the hot girl that came back."

"Maybe I am and maybe I'm not. Who is it that I'm speaking to?" she asked with a sexy voice.

"Zayn." I replied.

"So you're that hot guy that replaced me?"

"What do you mean?"

"You bully Jordan Stewart, yes? That was my job and may I just say the things I've heard just makes me overwhelmed." she giggled.

"Yeah? Maybe we can get together and ruin her life some more?" I smirked, wrapping my arms around her waist. You know how the rest went. We made it to lunch and she was being affectionate, I was being affectionate. Get the picture? I glanced over once and noticed Jordan had saw us. Good. It'll destroy her. After she went up to get her lunch, I was starting to get a call from my ex. Oh no. I walked away from my table and picked it up.

"I thought we were getting back together." she snapped.

"I don't know if we can, I mean. I just got a girl now."

"I thought you love me still."

"I do, but... it's complicated."

"How is it complicated?" she asked me.

"Look, we can't do this now. My main girl's here. Okay? I have to get to class. Love you." and I quickly hung up. Gosh, was she clingy. I glanced over and noticed that Jordan had peeked her head in MY conversation. She quickly looked away and sat there. Like nothing just happened. I walked over and sat next to her, my face close to hers.

"I know you heard that." I mumbled. She glanced at me and smirked.

"Yeah, what's it to you?" she asked me with a rude attitude. I chuckled.

"You don't need to be all snappy." I started getting closer and resting my arm on the table. She sat still and stared into my eyes like a scared puppy, those deep, sparkling blue eyes staring into mine.

"You say a word and I will make your life go through hell." I muttered under my breath. She didn't seem to care for my threat. I knew about her Stacy. She chuckled to me and shook her head, keeping her eyes away from me.

"Your 'main girl' already does that." she mumbled, putting on a sarcastic face. I sighed and moved her chin so she could look at me. I opened my mouth to say something, but noticed the 'main girl' approaching us.

"Ew, why are you talking to this freak for?" her words spoke loudly. Her voice so whiny and high pitched, but she was hot. She looked at Stewart and gave her a death glare.

"I asked him about something in English class. We sit together." Stewart told her, looking at her hands. She giggled, grabbing my arm.

"Awe baby. You don't need to help some bitch with your smarticles. You'll get an STD or something." she joked, referring to something that I didn't really understand. Stewart rolled her eyes and looked at me. I had a smirk on his face, giving her more of a death glare. she sighed, looking away and noticing Liam and Jesse arriving back.

"We better leave the whore alone to her little show tonight at the corner." and after that last comment, I could tell by the expression on Stewart's face that she felt humiliation. She stood up and looked Stacy straight in the eye.

"You can be a little slut sometimes." she told her, looking at no one but her. Stacy giggled again and smiled.

"You know that's not true. Sluts are with more than one guy. I'm only with Zayn." she smirked, kissing my cheek. Stacy winked and grabbed my hand, walking me back to our table.

"Hey Stewart." I was on Jordan's street and for only one thing: The plan. Well, my plan. It was to never let her tell anyone about the 'main girl' thing. She needed to understand it. I gave her a smirk, but she didn't really seem to care. She ignored my little greeting and passed me down to her house. When she got to my steps, my hand had a grasps of her wrist.

"What?" she yanked away, looking at me.

"We have to straighten things out."

"You mean the schedule?"

"What?" she sighed and stepped away from the steps and closer to me.

"The schedule. You know, for the days of the week that both you and Stacy will bully me. Do you have the first two days and she has the next two? Is Friday the day you both bully me on?" she blurted out. I have never seen her so angry in my life. I felt a weird pain in my chest when she said that. Did I actually feel offended?

"..No." I mumbled, grabbing her wrist a bit harder this time. I didn't loose his grip.

"Look, can't you just leave me alone?" she asked me. I just shook my head.

"I need you to shut up and let me talk." and with that, she did shut up. All she did was stare at me. I gave out a sigh and let go of her. My bottom sat on the step as she stood there.

"That girl I was talking to on the phone. We aren't dating." I told me. She let out a fake laugh, looking into my eyes. I rolled them.

"Look. It's complicated. Just stop butting in." I heard myself mumbled. She gave me a furious look.

"You think I'm butting in? You walked up to me in the first place!" she shouted in a low tone. Instead of pushing her over like I usually do when I shout, he just stood up and looked at me. I was just too uneasy today that there really wasn't any energy left to bully here right now. I mean, to be honest, she kind of was right.

"I know." is all I said. My eyes stayed away from her at all times. I sometimes did feel bad after bullying her. I never liked bullying here, it was just something I never stopped doing. I really never understood why I did what I did.

"Are you okay?" she asked him, very curious. My eyes gazed away and over to a blonde girl. Stacy. Shit, she can't see me talking to Jordan. She would think something's up. I felt my face going from blank to angry in a single heartbeat. My fists had clenched together and my lips close together. I then began to walk away, but she grabbed onto my arm. I turned quickly and pushed her down. She had lost her balance and her legs collapsed. She just looked up at me. She slowly helped herself up and turned away to see Stacy clapping in the background.

"Awe, babe! I hadn't even came yet." she smirked, glancing over to her after giving cheerful eyes at me. She stepped closer to Jordan and stared into her eyes.

"I don't see why you still live here. After all you did to that poor neighbor boy..."

"He walked out on me, bitch." I heard her fight back. She giggled and played with Jordan's hair.

"Yeah, right after you gave him that STD." she said aloud. My eyes widened and so did Jordan's.

"I did not! If it was anyone, it was y-" before I could finish, I felt Stacy's hands pull my hair, knocking me on the ground beside her.

"I don't know what you're talking about. He's the one who told me the truth." she mumbled, walking over to Me. To be honest, I wasn't even made. I wasn't in the beginning nor now. I felt just a bit relaxed with a hint of confusion. What were they arguing about? She quickly got up and rushed inside. Stacy turned to me and smiled.

"See how it's truly done by the master?" she smirked, planting a kiss on my lips. I shook her off.

"Well is someone being mr. cranky?" she asked.

"Don't you think you're being a little too mean. I meant, did she even give that guy an STD?"

"No, she's still a crummy virgin. Someone else did." she smirked. I gave her a strange look.

"Wait, are you saying you're not?" I asked her.

"Well obviously I'm not. I'm too hot to be a virgin." she winked. I shook my head in disgrace.

"How many guys have you slept with?" I asked her. She shrugged.

"Well there's Drake, Jackson, Matt, Zach, the Eric kid that lived next to whore-dan Jordan..."

"I wouldn't be surprised if you gave that boy an STD." I spat. She gave me an angry look now.

"You're an asshole, Zayn." she said, looking at me. I shook my head.

"And you're a bitch." I smirked. "I don't think I want to date someone who's been with more guys than with purses." I winked, walking away.

"I hate you Zayn, I really do!" and that was the night Stacy had been broken up with for the first time ever. Except, later that night I decided to go over to her house because, to be honest, I still kind of had feelings. Yeah, just because she was hot, doesn't mean I can't feel anything for her. I actually do care, but I felt those feelings leave once I saw her with a blonde kid. I think his name was trevor.

"Excuse me, now who's this guy?!" I demanded to know. She chuckled, getting up from the couch.

"Someone who's way better than you could ever be." I rolled my eyes and stormed out.

The 'side girl' was getting out of control. I needed some true help, but that would mean that I'd have to go over to Jordan's. Great, I must be really hopeless now. I rushed over and thankfully, she was in her driveway. I quickly grabbed onto her and spun her around so she would face me. She didn't seem to thrilled, though.

"What do you want now?" she mumbled.

"I kind of need your help." I whispered, pulling her away from her friends.

"Why do you need my help?" she questioned me.

"Can you stop with the questions?" I answered simply. she rolled my eyes, waiting for me to continue.

"I kind of need you to text the one 'side girl' and tell her that you're Stacy. Tell her to leave me alone." I mumbled, not telling her that we broke up. I might as well tell her tomorrow. Her eyebrows squinted down with curiosity.

"Why me?" she asked me. Are you kidding me?

"Stacy can't know that I had a side girl. Beside, she really wasn't for the side. She was my ex, wait. I'm not going to explain this to you." I snapped, grabbing her phone.

"Give me my phone, I'm going to be late to the movies." she demanded, grabbing her phone back. I leaned over to her friend's car.

"I'll be dropping Jordan off in a few minutes. I have an English question for her." I smirked, walking Jordan to the steps. Jesse shrugged and started the car.

"You sure, Jordan? she asked her, looking in Jordan's eyes.

"Yes, I'll be there soon." Jordan sighed, watching them drive away quickly. I smirked again and grabbed her phone, entering the girl's number.

"There, text her." I mumbled In command, handing her the phone. She slowly breathed in and typed the girl a long and rude paragraph. It read: "This is Stacy, Zayn's girlfriend, and you need to back off. You have no right talking to him and you sure don't own him. Maybe close your legs and you can at least find a bit of respect in yourself." I was left laughing hysterically.

"Send it." I smiled, looking at the phone. She quickly pressed the send button and smiled. I got up quickly and walked back to the sidewalk. I began to walk down the road, but then stopped to look at Jordan.

"Aren't you coming?' she then remembered that she was being dropped off by me. She then caught up with me and walked down the road as I looked at my feet the whole time. I felt a bit awkward, I mean, this never happens. I don't talk to her, nor do I give her rides.

"What if she texts back during the movie?" she looked at me. I shook my head

"Don't text back." I mumbled. After all I did, I can't believe she was being so nice about this. "Thanks.."

"Whoa, you're actually thanking me." she acted surprised as I looked up at her.  I just shook my head and kept walking.

"Why have you been acting weird?" She asked. I just kept my eyes in the distance. I was too deep in thought. I didn't have an answer even if I wanted one.

"You usually bully me hard. Today, you just haven't really done much."

"Do you want me to bully you hard?" I asked, very amused. She obviously shook her head, staring out into the distance. I sighed to myself.

"I guess Stacy's done so much that I've just took a break." is all I gave her. She rolled her eyes, like usual, and followed me into the alley way. I felt a little weird walking with her. I mean, she hates me and I'm suppose to hate her but right now, I didn't really mind her company. We didn't do anything on this walk, really. No talking, no bullying, nothing. When we made our way back out, I headed straight to my house and into the driveway.

"Ready to go?" I asked, unlocking the passenger door. I surprisingly opened her door and felt the need to help her in. I let her close the door as I rushed over to the drivers side where I hopped in and started the car. My vehicle drove out and into the road, slowly strolling down the street.

"What do you even see in Stacy?" She asked me, breaking the silence. He chuckled to myself, we weren't even dating anymore. I decided not to say anything about it and gave her a dirty face.

"She's hot. Who wouldn't want to tap that?" I replied, still concentrating on the path. She didn't reply to my comment. I didn't think she thought it was funny. She wasn't anything but a bitch and a slut to me but hey, that's my opinion.

"That's it?" she asked, straight forward.

"She's hot, she has a hot body, and she's popular." I explained. What else did she even want to know?

"If you think so, Zayn."

"She is."

"Her personality is what makes her beauty die out. She's nothing but dirt to me." she suddenly replied back. Wow, never seen so much hatred in two people about each other before. I gave out another chuckle

"There isn't any girl out there with a beautiful face and a great personality." I told her. I didn't think there was but once I glanced over at Jordan, I did get a bit distracted.

"That doesn't matter. As long as you find someone who you truly feel right with." she mumbled, resting her warm on the door. The window all the way pulled down and her hair flying everywhere. I just wanted to get have a regular conversation with her. I don't see why she hates me, well actually I do. As we got into the parking lot for the movies, I quickly got out and rushed over to her door, opening it for her. She was a bit surprised, but she just shrugged it off

"Have fun at the movies." I smiled, closing the passenger door. My eyes looking into hers, I watched as they looked up in a bratty manner. She mumbled something, but I shrugged it off and was goodbye to her, walking to the driver's side.

I decided to text her the next morning and surprise her with a ride, well, not really surprise her since I texted her. I arrived and noticed her walking out of her car, but when she spotted me, she looked a bit angry.

"What do you want now?" She asked in an annoyed accent. I chuckled to himself.

"I texted you. I was going to come at 8:10." I smirked, looking at his watch. "Well, I'm a bit later than I thought."

"Well how do I know you're not going to throw me in the garbage can or push me down the stairs once we get to school?" she asked, looking at me. Wow, okay? That kind of offended me. I mean I know that I've done that in the past but hey, I don't have to have people expect that from me.

"I don't get why you hate me so much." I mumbled, but was caught off guard when her eyes widened, staring down into mine.

"Let's paint a picture, shall we? You push me down, you pull chairs away from me, you snap my pencils, you've always been such a dick." she started, beginning to speak in a louder tone.

"Is there some plan that Stacy put you up to? Is there some plan to make you be nice and then turn your back?" she questioned, staring at me. I was speechless. That's what this has been about? There really must be something Stacy did to her because she was never like this last year.

"Or maybe I was just trying to be nicer for once?" I questioned, looking at her. She rolled her eyes and smirked.

"Yeah, good luck with that. I'm going to be late if you don-"

"Let me take you to school then. It's a lot easier." I pled, staring into her eyes. I had my hands together, fingers crossed. She chuckled to myself.

"I must be stupid." she whispered, walking to my car. I walked to her side and opened the door for her. When she got in, I closed my door and walked on the other side.

"See, is this so hard?" I asked, buckling up. She did the same and just stared into the distance as I drove. We sat in silence until we reached the school.

"Let me out here." I heard her mumble.

"Why?" I asked at a red light.

"That way you aren't seen with me, I don't know." She suggested. I don't I really mind being seen with her. Besides, it'd piss Stacy off. I laughed to myself, going on the green light.

"If someone sees, then someone sees." I tell her, staring onto the road still.

"You're girlfriend? A.k.a, the girl who HATES me?" she asked as I pulled into the driveway. I smiled to myself and glanced at Jordan.

"We broke up." I mumbled, still giving a smirk.

"Oh... I'm sorry?" She seemed confused on if it was a good thing or not.

"It's alright. I broke up with her." I stepped out of the car and over to her side, opening the door slowly. She smirked at me and stepped out.

"Why are you being nice? If you guys broke up and she sees you with me, she'll kill both of us." she told me.

"Just because I gave you a ride, doesn't mean we're off the hook." I mumbled next to her ear, still looking at her. She just gave me a weird glance as she closed the door behind her.

"Well thanks, I guess." she whispered, starting to slowly walk away, but I followed.

"No problem." I said, looking off at the distance. She noticed what I was looking at: Stacy. Good. She gave us a smirk and quickly turned around, storming away. I glanced at Jordan, Chuckling away.

"What?" she asked.

"Her... she's such a bitch." I smirked, looking at me. "I'm going to head to my friends. This whole morning didn't happen." I told her before walking away.

"Miss Stewart? Why have you come late?" I heard the teacher ask. I looked up and noticed Jordan covered in nothing but stained smoothie. Everyone else started to giggle, but I didn't. I mean, I didn't think that it was funny. Usually I would, but right now for some reason I didn't.

"I was in the bathroom." I could tell who had done this. Obviously if it wasn't me, it was Stacy. She sat down quickly, grabbing her cute little pencil. I couldn't stop looking at her. She didn't even glance away from her paper. Has she gotten to the point where she's immune to this? She breathed in, staring up at the board. I couldn't stop looking at her. I couldn't even focus on my work. She rested her head on the desk for a bit. I smiled, taking her book. I looked at it and it was just an english book, nothing out of the ordinary. As we started to pack, she lifted her head and started to pack up. She began to look around, confused of where something was. I cleared my throat to get her attention

"Looking for something?" I heard my voice ask, staring into her eyes. She grabbed the book and packed the rest of her things up.

"I see that Stacy got to you, huh?" I asked her. She faintly nodded. I chuckled and sat on the surface of the desk.

"I don't get why you're being so nice." She mumbled, putting her books in her arms. I thought for a moment and smiled.

"Maybe I just don't have anything to be mean about anymore." is all he said.

"How about you come sit with me?" I grabbed Jordan's arm and quickly pulled her close to my lunch table, looking into her eyes. She shook my head.

"I already told Jesse, Liam, and Louis that I was with them, I can't ditch." She shrugged, looking into my eyes.

"May I join you?" I asked, giving her an excited look.

"I guess." we made our way over to her table, where the other three were looking at me as if I was crazy. Jordan and I sat down on the other side of Louis and smiled.

"Hey Jordan. You bring a little... fr-riend?" Liam was hesitant about his question.

"I was wondering if Jordan knew our project in English was to sit with each other's friends. You know, since we're partners and all." I lied. I'm kind of a bad liar but they seem to buy it.

"So Jordan. Can you tell me a little bit more about your friends?" I asked, keeping the lie on task.

"Well, Jesse is a great friend and she's very smart. Liam's very nice and kind when it comes to others. Louis is really loud and he has nice hair." She told me, a bit confused. I nodded my head, that was interesting. Louis kind of does have nice hair. She got out her phone and a few seconds later I had received a text. "What are you doing?" She sent. "Being nice. xxx" I had sent. She glanced at me after reading it, but I wouldn't even nudge a little look over at her I knew she was looking at me and it made me smile inside. Wait, smile inside? Where'd that come from? I was trying to hit up a conversation with Liam since we were once good of friends.

"You're friends are nice. Maybe tomorrow you can meet mine?" I asked.

"Sure." is all that came out of her mouth. We had thrown my stuff away and as the bell rang, I followed her out the door to catch up with her. She then turned around and stopped me.

"Zayn, what the hell are you doing?" she asked me. I stopped in my tracks and just looked at her.

"What?" he was confused.

"You're being nice to me. You're following me around like a lost puppy. You're suppose to avoid me and be a total douche to me like normal. What's gotten into you?" She asked, a bit pissed. . I just gave her a hurt expression. Well I was hurt. I was trying to be nice and to be honest, I didn't understand why I was. Why was I wanting to be nice to her?

"I'm sorry." I mumbled, walking away.

I was driving my way home when I saw Jordan with her friend Louis. Why did I have the sudden erge to go talk to her? I guess it was just a knew habbit forming.

"I don't see what's so fun about walking." I smirked as I drove over to them. Louis smiled and walked over to the car.

"Well I live just down the street but maybe you could take Jordan the rest of the way to her house. Jordan, I could just meet up with you after I check in." Louis suggested. He patted her back and walked down the street to his house.

"Need a ride?" I asked me.

"I can walk a few more blocks."

"You mean like six? "You know you want to get in." I smirked.

"I rather walk."

"Then I'll drive next to you until you realize that it's quicker to just get a ride with me than having me drive next to you until you get to your house." I smirked, teasing around. She rolled my eyes.

"It's just be quicker if you left me alone." She told me.

"Oh come on. Am I really that bad?" I asked her.

"Is that a rhetorical question?"  She asked me, still looking out in the distance. I stopped and got out of the car.

"Jordan, get over here." I barked, getting a bit angry. she turned around.

"I'm not scared of you."

"Yeah well, maybe you are. Maybe you're too scared to just take a kind offer because you're scared that I'm being nice. Maybe you're scared because I've been nice and I know you're too scared to ever become just more than an acquaint." Did I really just say that I wanted to be her friend? Well, maybe I did and maybe I didn't.

"Are you kidding me right now?"I smiled, opening the side door. She walked over  and grabbed the side door.

"I must be crazy taking this car ride." she mumbled, sitting down in the car. On the way there, there was this silent faint of music from the radio. Jordan turned it up a bit, listening to some R&B Shit, Trey Songz! I quickly  turned it to a heavy metal channel. She couldn't figure out that I like R&B.

"You like R&B?"

"No, It was just the first thing that popped up." I lied.

"If you say so, Malik." she mumbled, turning it to Country. She began to jam out to Drunk On You. She then started singing along with the words and could I just say that her singing was amazing?

"You have a voice." I commented, looking into her eyes.

"I love that song." She told me. It was quiet until I parked in front of her house.

"Well here you are." Imumbled, quickly getting out of the car. I rushed over to her side and opened the door for her. me open the car door. After she stepped out, I walked her to her porch.

"Well thanks for the ride." I told him.

"No problem. If you need a ride tomorrow, I can probably come by."

"I usually ride with Jesse, but thanks." I just looked at her as she climbed the steps, as I did too.

"Erm, sorry about earlier after lunch." She mumbled. I shook my head.

"It's no big deal, I can see where you're coming from." I told her, leaning against the railing.

"Well I should really check on my brother." she told me, breaking the awkwardness. I nodded, getting off the railing and stepping closer to her, not intentionally.

"I'll just see you tomorrow then." I smiled, stepping off the porch. She nodded and stepped up another step.

"See you tomorrow, Malik."

"See you later, Stewart."

After taking her home hours ago, I got a random text from someone unknown. I read the message. "Do you fancy Jordan?" the person sent. "Who is this?" I asked, very confused. Who would be texting me this? I mean, the only one who I talk to with Jordan is her friends and I know that Liam or Jordan couldn't be this number because I have their numbers saved. "Look, tell me if you do and I'll tell you who I am." the person sent. I rolled my eyes. "If you tell me who you are, I'll tell you if I do." I reversed sent it. I thought for a moment. Why would someone think I fancied her? I mean, I couldn't. I bullied her and I still bully her a bit. Just because I'm giving her rides doesn't mean I fancy her. I really hope she knows that and isn't telling her friends. Wait, she probably has. "If I do, will you tell me?" he sent. "Yes." I lied. Why would I tell them if I fancy her or not? Do I really fancy her? ...I don't know. Wait, no I can't. I then got a message. "It's Louis now tell me the answer."

"We need to talk." I mumbled, grabbing Jordan's arm tightly and dragging her away from her friends and out of the cafeteria.

"What the hell?" She pushed me away, staring into my eyes. I looked at my feet, trying not to shout. My fists were clutched together. He glanced up.

"Don't give me that bullshit. Why would you do that?" I mumbled, holding my wrist tightly in his grip.

"Ow, Zayn... I didn't do anything."

"You know who I had texting my phone last night?" I asked her. "Louis. I had Louis texting me and do you know what he was texting me?"

"Zayn, I'm so sorry. He probably got your number after looking for Jesse's last night." my grip got stronger as she spoke.

"Have you been telling your little friends that I fancy you?"

"What? Of course not! Why the hell would I want to cause drama?" I asked him.

"Why the hell did you tell them that then?"

"I didn't!"

"Then why did he ask me if I did."

"Because Louis is Louis! Louis thinks that because you are being nice to me lately, it's because you fancy me. You set this up yourself." she told me. I quickly wripped my hand away from her wrist, letting it go. Is that what she really thinks? Just because I have the decency to talk to her, it means that I'm starting to fancy her? She kept a grasp on her wrist while she had a painful expression on her face.

"Well you're wish is granted, princess, because I'm done talking to you." I mumbled, pushing her into the wall. I rushed away, trying not to show a sad face. I was very confused, I mean. Lately I've been nice only because she's been nice back. I breathed in and slid down a wall to sit on the floor. I didn't really want to push her in the wall. I even told myself that I wasn't going to hurt her, but I did. God, maybe she was right. Maybe it was just Louis. I'm so stupid. The whole rest of the day I couldn't stop thinking of her. She was all on my mind and it really bothered me. Did I some what fancy her just the slightest bit?

I was early in class so I decided to actually do my work before class started. As I started on the last question, Jordan stormed in and sat down, covering her face completely. I noticed that she had looked for a pencil, but didn't have one. I glanced over to my pencil and picked it up without her noticing. She stared over at the window, deep in thought. She seemed so lonely and sad, and for that moment, I wanted to know what was on her mind. I really did. She rested my head on the desk for a little bit, giving me the great opportunity to give her a pencil, and it worked. She never looked up when I did so, I got up and walked over to the jar of pencil's on the teacher's desk and walked back. She had already began working sat down.

"I want you to discuss with your partners about the upcoming writer's project that you will both be writing together." Ms. Hanson said. Great, a way that we can talk about everything. Everything that had happened.

"I guess we can start writing about puppies or something." she suggested, writing her name on the page. She had turned her face directly over at me, but her eyes down on the paper. That's when I noticed the big mark on her cheek. Oh my god, I didn't do that, right?

"Do you need something?" she asked with a rude attitude

"Who did that to you?" I asked, very worried that I did that.

"Who do you think?" she snapped, looking back at her page. I lifted my chin with my finger, examining the mark. I couldn't of done this. This is a hand mark. I pushed her by the shoulders.

"What happened?"

"I fell onto your soon-to-be-girlfriend's hand. I got slapped, you moron."

"Who, Stacy?"

"Well yeah. She told me to stay away from you. And you know what, I'm trying." she told me. What the hell? Stacy's really gotten on my nerves lately and I hate it when her name comes up.

"Stacy and I aren't ever dating again."

"She told me you were."

"She's a bitch." I flipped, looking away. I really didn't ever want to get back with her. I mean, why would I.

"What, you just found that out?" She asked me. I shook my head and didn't look at her.

"I don't want to talk about her, okay?" my voice felt thick and raspy.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothings wrong."

"Obviously there is if you want to change the topic." I could feel her breathe on my neck. "Tell me."

"The night I took you to the movies, I went to go see her and she was with this blonde kid locking lips." I smirked, trying to play it cool.

"I'm really sorry. If you haven't noticed, she's a slut." She told me.

"I just never really realized that I could be hurt that way." I mumbled. Yeah, we had broken up before that but I still had feelings when I walked over there. She grabbed one of my hands and looked into my eyes.

"Try falling in love with someone who was faking it the whole time." she told me.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"No tell me,."

"You'll laugh."

"I just spent this time confessing some stupid love about a girl who should move back to her slut town. Tell me." I gave her a reassuring smile, trying to make her give in, and it worked. She spent ten minutes explaining this story about this Eric kid that she fell in love with and to be honest, I felt really bad. Stacy was a bitch and she needed to learn but of course, I couldn't think of a way to get back at her. She looked up at me as I rested my hand on her shoulder.

"I'm really sorry." I mumbled, rubbing her back.

"It's fine. Everything she does now doesn't bother me as much as it use to."

"I'm really sorry about earlier. I should of realized that you didn't do what I thought you did." I mumbled, looking into her eyes. Everytime we talked, I could see a little sparkle form in the top corner.

"You know, It's actually quite alright. I'm over it." She told me, relieving. "Well I guess I'll see you later."

"Hey..." I stopped her from leaving. "...Thanks."

I walked out of the building and what do you know, I saw Louis and Jordan walking home together. I decided to catch up with them since I didn't have my car on me today.

"May I join you on your walk?" I asked, acting as if I didn't see Louis.

"It's up to flippy over here." She joked, looking over at Louis and then into my eyes. I looked over at Louis, giving him a blank expression.

"Oh come on! He's spreading rumors." I mumbled. Louis faked an offended look and looked at me.

"No, all I did was ask if you fancied Jordan." Louis gave me a smirk and began walking. I rolled my eyes.

"Well can I walk with her?"

"Are you saying you do?"

"No, I'm saying that I want to walk with her." I snapped, obviously offended. Besides, if I do fancy her, why would I say it in front of Jordan?

"Well you have to walk with us, since I'm walking too." Louis explained, wrapping his arm around Jordan's arm.

"Fine." I smirked. "...but I'm only talking to her."

"Good, I didn't want you talking to me anyway." Louis mumbled, turning around and continuing onto the walk. I stood beside Jordan and smirked.

"So, what are we writing for the English assignment?"

"We can write about bullying." She smiled, looking up at me. What did she mean by that? I felt a bit uncomfortable about the topic.

"Erm... why that subject?"

"Well I guess because it's an assignment about reality, I just thought that we should write about the effects of bullying." she explained, looking into my eyes.

"...unless you don't want to."

"No no. We can do a bullying one." I paused, thinking if I really wanted to. I did, it was just a very awkward topic.

"I just thought you were referring to me."

"No, not at all. That was the first thing that had came to mind." I could tell she felt awkward. I lost myself into deep thought, thinking a bit about Jordan. I noticed that the mark had faded away and her eyes were a really pretty shade of blue. I did hear Louis ask me a question, I just didn't know what the question was.

"Zayn..?" Louis hesitated, looking at me. I snapped my head over to them, giving a reassuring smile.

"Would you like to join the four of us out to Kings?" Jordan asked very calmly, looking at Louis.

"I'd love to." For a few seconds, we stayed quiet. Her eyes on mine. I was looking for a little bit of something. I wanted to know if she fancied me too. Well yes, I guess you can say that I'm starting to fancy her. Those beautiful blue eyes always made me distracted lately. She probably noticed that she was staring, so she looked away and over to Louis.

"Good, now we have plans for tonight." she smirked "Uh, Louis? I'm going to head home to check on Steven. I'll be back." She smiled, walking away with me to her house.  For the first two blocks, Jordan and I were very quiet, but I quickly cleared his throat to speak.

"Can I ask you something?" I hesitated, glancing over at her. I felt my throat swell up.

"Yeah, what is it?"

"I don't know how to start."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I was wondering..." I paused, turning towards her. I bit my lip nervously, than smirked. "Would it be weird if we became... friends?" Did I really just say that?

"I don't think it's weird."

"Well, do you want to?"

"Well... all depends." We then walked onto her street.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't take this the wrong way, but from experience, how do I know this isn't a trap?" At first when she said that, I felt myself get angry. Did she not trust me? I quickly calmed down once I remembered what she told me earlier about Eric.

"I see where you're coming from..." I paused, stopping in front of my house. We just stared into each other's eyes, afraid of the next words that I was going to say. That's when I felt myself smile.

"I guess you're just going to have to trust me for once."  It was silent for a few more minutes.

"So can we...?" he asked, bringing out a hand. I was serious about this. I didn't want to bully her anymore. I just wanted to be closer now. Maybe closer than just Friends, but for now we are only friends. She reached out her hand but hesitantly pulling a bit back. Was she having second thoughts? She then quickly stopped it in motion from going back, it continued to go forward and finally intertwine into my hand. We shook hands and let our arms carefully fade to our sides.

"So, Stewart. I guess I'll see you tonight?"

"Yeah, just meet up here whenever I text you and Jess will pick us up."

"Jess? You mean Jesse?" her eyes gave themselves a roll and looked into mine. Wow, they were... beautiful. Whoa, what's coming over me? I think I'm starting to... like this feeling.

"I guess I'll see you later than." I smiled, watching her walk up the porch steps.

"Bye, Zayn."

For the past few more days, we started to get even closer. I felt as if she started to have the same feelings. I mean, at first I thought it was just a one day thing, but lately she's been stuck on my mind. We had just made plans for a drive and I honestly couldn't wait until it was morning.
