Three Words

Jordan Stewart, a junior in Alburry Hills High School, is not book smart nor is she street smart. She is just a regular girl with average grades and a decent piece of mind. The only thing in her way is the leather jacket and the black sun glasses, followed by the facial appearance of black hair and gorgeous hazel brown eyes.

12. Keeping Us A Secret

My eyes fluttered open to a beautiful blue sky. I smiled to myself as I felt one arm under my neck and  another resting on my stomach. There was also a hand resting on mine, which made me feel good. I rolled over and noticed that beautiful face. Even when he was sleeping, he looked absolutely gorgeous. My hand, which was resting on my stomach and underneath his hand, had rested in his palm. The fingers slowly intertwined with his. I looked at his eyes, which were slowly opening. His lips grew into a smile as he noticed me.

"Good morning, Princess." he whispered, kissing my nose. I smiled and put my head on his chest. Only to realize that I was now looking at a palm tree above me. I quickly rose to an L position, looking around the beach. Shit, we fell asleep on the beach.

"I think we fell asleep." I whispered, looking at Zayn. He sat up with me and put his hand on mine.

"I think we did." he smirked, kissing my lips. I felt his hand run up my arm and over to my shoulder, reaching my neck and face. I giggled, smiling between the kisses. I bit his lip and pulled away.

"I think we should get going." I suggested, looking over at the tree that was on the side of where our car is parked. Zayn stood up and helped me into the standing position as well.

"You're right. Let's start heading out." he smiled, still holding onto my hand. We packed everything and walked to the car. He put the stuff in the trunk and walked over to me.

"You know, you kept me up last night." he whispered in my ear as he planted a kiss on my cheek.

"And how is that?" I asked, still holding his hands.

"They way you sleep. It's cute." he mumbled shyly.

"You know what I've noticed?" I asked him.

"You get so nervous when you flirt with me. I could see you flirting with these girls last year and had no problem. Why do I all of a sudden make you all shaky?" he looked from my eyes to his feet. I lifted his chin.

"No, look at me." I giggled, slowly breathing in. He let out a sigh and smiled.

"Isn't it obvious?" he started. I gave him a puzzled look.

"I never really liked those girls." he sighed. "Do you remember when I took you to the movies and I said There isn't any girl out there with a beautiful face and a great personality?" he shook his head and looked back into my eyes. His eyes were a light brown, now.

"I was wrong, because...I think I found her." he smiled, kissing my forehead.

"I wouldn't ever think you of all people would ever like me." I whispered.

"You're better than perfect, I guess." he whispered in a very shaky voice. I giggled and kissed his nose.

"You're so cute." I whispered, looking at the passenger door. He chuckled and opened it to let me in, then running to his side and hopping into his seat.

"Ready?" he asked me. I nodded and watched as he started the car and driving out of the dirt drive way and onto the old-cemented road. While we made our way out of the area, I stared out of the window with my hair flying in the wind and my arm resting on the windowsill. I heard a chuckle next to me, causing me to turn to see Zayn smiling to himself as his eyes laid on the road in front of us.

"What's so funny?" I asked him. He shook his head, still looking forward.

"You. You're so cute," he mumbled, turning down the road. It was silent forawhile, but it wasn't an awkward silence. I noticed after fourty-five minutes the trees had disappeared and the cars became more frequent. When we got back into town, I frowned. I was going to miss the fun we had.

"Almost home." Zayn announced, riding down my road. I shrugged and watched as my house became closer to us. The car went into a complete stop as we got out and over to the sidewalk.

"You okay?" Zayn asked, obviously noticing my face was a bit saddened.

"I'm fine, I just had a lot of fun. Now I have to get home to those people inside." I pointed at my house, looking at Zayn. He kissed my cheek and smiled.

"Whenever you want to get away and do that again, tell me. Any day, Anytime." he smirked. I nodded and walked up my porch steps to my house and over to the door. I opened it, walked inside, and noticed Michael sitting on the couch with his arms crossed, looking angry in his spot.

"Where have you been?" He asked in a snappy tone.

"We went on a drive." I answered, looking into his eyes.

"You have school, why aren't you there?" he asked me. Monday, crap!

"It was my fault. I should of took her home last night," Zayn said, obviously feeling guilty.

"No, Zayn. It's not-"

"Actually, yes it is. You need to remember just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean the rules change." Michael interrupted me.

"Oh, we're not dating." I told him, biting my lip.

"Good, because I don't want you seeing him anymore." Michael said, looking deep into Zayn's eyes. I could tell that Zayn seemed a bit hurt.

"Are you kidding me?" I shouted a tad, not realizing it.

"Your dad and I both decided this after you never came home last night. We thought you could of gotten hurt. You know what had happened last year with Eric. How do I know that Zayn wouldn't of done the same thing?" Michael asked.

"Zayn's not like that. I can't believe you would do this to me." I shouted a bit louder.

"Maybe next time you will be home on time." Michael said.

"Maybe next time you don't have to butt into my life."

"Zayn, I think it's time for you to leave."

"I'm walking him to his car." Zayn started his way out the door and I was following him until I felt Michael's hand on my wrist.

"Don't take so long." he mumbled. I wripped my wrist away from him.

"Leave me alone." I told him, rushing out and over to Zayn. He was looking at me with sad eyes. I sighed to myself, watching him lean on his car.

"I don't care what they say. I will find a way to stay with you." I whispered, quiet enough for only him to hear. I knew Michael was probably looking out the window.

"What if they find out?" Zayn whispered back, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"They won't." I smiled, kissing his lips. He didn't kiss back, which shocked me a bit. I leaned away and gave him a confused facial expression.

"What's wrong?"

"Earlier when you were talking to Michael..." he stopped, biting his lip.

"You said we weren't dating..." he paused, looking into my eyes.

"What are we then?" he asked me. I just looked at him, but could not say anything. I want to be his girlfriend, but I knew he wouldn't want to hide it. He changed the subject.

"I don't want to hide this."

"We won't for long. Just for a little while, I promise." I kissed his lips, and this time he kissed back. He bit my lip as my smile grew. We were interrupted by the sound of a familiar voice.

"Jordan, you need to come back in." Michael shouted from inside, closing the door. I looked at Zayn and sighed.

"Meet tomorrow at the front

of the school. Early, if I may add." I told him. Zayn smiled.

"I will." He started opening his door. He started his car, slowly leaning out the window for a kiss and planting his lips on mine. I pulled away and smiled.

"Bye Stewart." I heard him say before driving away. As I watched him disappear onto the Main Streets, my smile faded.

"Bye Zayn..."
