Mistaken Identity

I've loved him. But from the side of the street, or the back of the classroom. I just wanted to feel him. His kiss, his hands up my waist, him whispering in my ear. But there was one tiny fault: his skank. The girl who only cared about having Harry under her every command. She didn't care about his feelings or his heart like I did. She had a mistaken identity that he still needed to find out.

4. chapter three

When the music began to get louder, so did the drunken teens. I managed to steal Harry and bring him outside to talk.

"So, this is more of a small friend party. Alicia and I are throwing him a big bash next weekend. It's gonna be awesome. You should come." I smiled

"Sure, that'd me great. Text me the details."

"OK, well my, erm- my number is 888-456-1236. Text me."

"OK, my number is 888-896-3214."

"Well, I really should be going. My mum would get worried."

"But, it's only 9:30."

"Yeah, well. I'm just getting cramps. So I'm leaving."

"Ugh, rough. OK, bye Haiden."

"Bye Harry."

****Day of Party****

"Do you still wanna go? I mean you don't have to, hon."

"No, I mean I never even dated Harry. Why should I be mad?"

"Well, he did lead you on, and then go back with Sab."

"Ugh! Just shut the hell up! You know, you're not being a great mate. I'm trying to get over him, not have you constantly remind me of him!"

She backed down, and put her head in her hands, "Sorry, love. I'm just trying to help you."

"Well, you're not doing quite a good job."

"Well, at least I'm not fancying a boy, who has a girlfriend!"

"Leash, just stop. Shut up."

"Fine, I'm sorry."

"Me, too."

"Alicia, this is the mas I made. Do you like it?"

"Oh my goodness, yes! Do you fancy mine?"

"Yes! It goes perfect with your dress. I can't wait for this party."

"C'mon, let's go."

As we arrived at the party, everyone was just starting to settle down. We had asked people to hold their masks in their hands, to be sure of no party crashers. Harry looked amazing. His hair naturally flowing to left side. His eyes shining as the hot, bright light shone down. His abs being squeezed by his white button up, still visible because of the lacking of his unbuttoned blazer.

Sabrina wasn't even dressed for a masquerade. She didn't have a mask, she looked so unprepared. If I didn't know nay better I'd thing she was drinking.

"Ooooooooooooook, everybody. I'd like to take the time now, to tell you to put on your masks and make your way out to the dance floor!" The DJ screamed into the microphone.

I put the mask over my face and did as the DJ requested: went to the dance floor. He began playing music. Just fun, party music. Starting with first Glowing by Nicki Williams.

I grabbed Adam and Alicia and danced with them. Having fun and laughing. I saw Harry and Sabrina sitting at the table. Harry looked beyond pissed. For God sakes, I felt bad for the poor lad! His girlfriend is a grade A bitch! She finally got up and left. Leaving Harry all alone. I left them, and made my way over to him. He didn't know it was me, so there was no harm in trying to dance with him, right? I reached out my hand, and he made his face go from the palms of his hands to my eyes in 2 seconds flat. He smiled, as did I. He took my outstretched hand and we made our way to the floor. The DJ put on a slow song and we danced. Just danced, like nobody was watching. With my head on his chest, my hands around his neck, and his hands on my waist, going further and further down as the song lingered on, it felt right.

"So, you know if you don't tell me your name, this might be a case of mistaken identity." His voice low and raspy.
