Please Save Me

Alexis is a 16 year old girl who not only is bullied at school, but is having MAJOR problems at home. Her best (and only) friend, Harry Styles, is the only one who sticks up for her. The only escapes she has from her life are drama class and a tiny library filled with books. Her drama class is doing the musical Les Miserables, and you should watch the movie if you haven't already. But what happens when she loses her memory in a gun accident and doesn't remember ever loving Harry?

4. Chapter 4

Harry drives me to my house, and I leave a little sticky note on the front door reminding him that he gave me permission to leave for the weekend.

After that, we drove to Harry’s house which wasn’t far from mine. I had never been there before, and when we pulled up, I looked up to see how huge it was. We walked in, and it was even bigger on the inside.

“Your house is huge,” I say.

“No, it’s just bigger then that tiny shack you live in, another reason why we should tell the police about your uncle,” he replies, throwing his keys on the counter.

“So what do you want to do? We have the rest of the weekend,” I say.

“Well… I had something in mind,” Harry says, winking at me.

“Uh no, gross.”

“Chill out, I meant we could have a movie marathon.”

“Oh, cool, let’s do that.”

Harry led me to the living room with a larger than life flat screen. I sat down on the couch as Harry put in a movie.

“So what are we watching first?” I ask.

Bambi, I love this movie.”

“Ugh, it always makes me get emotional.”

“Good, because it’s supposed to.”

Harry sits next to me, and the movie begins. Within five minutes, I’m already sobbing into his chest, curled up in his lap.

“Shh, it’s ok, it’ll get better from here,” Harry says, rubbing my back. I am so glad that I have him as a friend.

We finish the movie, and as Harry is popping in another one, his mom gets home.

“Oh, hey mom, can Alexis stay over for the weekend?” Harry asks when she walks into the room.

“Uh, yeah, just don’t do anything bad,” she replied.

“Sure thing mum,” Harry said, and sat next to me.

“Oh, and I’m going to be gone for the next week, I have to go on a business trip,” she said.

“Ok mum, I’ll miss you,”

“You too, goodnight, I’m leaving at 2 am,”

“We are now going to study for our play,” he said as the commercials came on.

“Are you trying to make me cry so that I’ll cuddle up to you?” I ask, curling up into his lap again.

“Now why would you think that?” Harry asked, smirking.

The movie finally began, and I was proud of myself for holding out until Eponine sang ‘On my Own’ and when the little kid died, then I completely lost it when Ja Vair pinned his medal on the kid’s dead body. I sobbed for the rest of the movie after that.

“What next?” I ask, wiping away my tears.

“How about… Pitch Perfect?” Harry suggested.

“Perfect, something that won’t make me cry again,” I agreed.

“Acca- awesome,” he replied, and got up to put in the movie.

About half-way through the movie and I fall asleep halfway through the movie. I wake up to the credits going. I close my eyes again, and feel Harry lay down on the couch, bringing me with him. He put one arm over me, and snuggled up against me.

For some reason, I get butterflies in my stomach. Do I have feelings for Harry? He probably doesn’t have them for me. The reason that he’s cuddling with me right now is because that’s how we work. Some people actually think that we’re dating. Right now, I’m kind of wishing we were dating now; we would be a great couple. Whatever, it’ll never happen. We’ve friend-zoned each other to the bone. There’s no way it will ever happen.

I fall asleep with tears in my eyes.
