17. Chapter 13

 ~Grace's P.O.V~

Perrie leant me some pyjamas of hers to sleep in. That wasn't really needed considering I wasn't going to sleep. I would lay in the bed I was given and stare up at the ceiling blankly. The only time I'd ever done this before was when my mother was in the hospital. Everyday her cancer would get worse and I would wonder how much more time she would have.

"Can't sleep?" Harry asked from the doorway.

 "Not typically," I sighed.

"Don't be scared, Grace," Harry said sincerely.

"Why not? Well, I shouldn't be talking. I have to think before I do," I said mimicking Harry from earlier.

"I didn't mean that, you know I didn't. I got worried about you," Harry said sitting next to me on the bed.

"Just because you didn't mean it, doesn't actually mean it doesn't still sting," I said turning myself to the side so Harry was facing my back. He placed his hand on my shoulder and rubbed it.

"I got angry so you wouldn't think about wandering of again, I don't want Dylan to touch you like he did tonight," Harry whispered. I slowly sat up on the bed so that my back was against the head board.

"How do you know Luke?" I asked to change the subject.

"He's my friend, he basically deals with the same type of shit I do,"

"And by that you mean me?" I asked. Harry shook his head and pulled me closer to him.

"Never," he whispered before kissing my forehead. I soon fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up to an empty bed. I looked at the clock and the time read '9:00am' I groaned realizing how early it was.

"Up already?" Perrie asked from the doorway.

  "Unfortunately," I replied.

"Not for me, everyone left an hour ago to find clues or whatever and I have no one to talk to," Perrie sighed.

"Well okay then," I replied rubbing my eyes. I got out of bed and followed Perrie into the kitchen. We made coffee and had cereal for breakfast. "What school do you go to?"

"Adam Hail High," Perrie responded. That was the school I went to but I hadn't seen her before.

"How come I haven't seen you around before?"

"Because I didn't want you to," Perrie said. I decided not to question her any further, I'm pretty sure she can do more than just make herself invisible. I continued eating breakfast until I was finished, Perrie then leant me some of her clothes to wear. She gave me black skinny jeans and a black long sleeved V-neck top.

"What time should I go home?" I asked.

"I think you should ask Harry that," Perrie replied. I nodded and sat down on the couch. We began watching a marathon of movie's and when the last one finished, it was already 2:00pm. That's five hours worth of movie's. We decided to go make lunch when everybody came back. Some of the boys were more or less bloody and others had a few bruises.

 "What happened?" I asked.

"We met up with some old friends.." Louis said.

"Why the actual fuck would you do that?" Perrie questioned.

"We didn't, they found us," Luke said.

"Grace, you need to stay as scarce as possible, they could come for you at any moment, I can't let that happen," Harry said clenching his teeth so hard he was outlining his jaw. "And to help with that, I brought in a few people whom are going to be quite important," Harry said. Two girls then walked into the room, one girl had long brown hair that reached about the centre of her back. Her eyes were multi coloured, they were mostly green but, they had specks of blue. The other girl had redish black hair. It was pretty. Hey eyes were a nice shade brown. It only took a moment for me to then realize. This was the girl from the bar that Harry was flirting with.

"This is Alyssa," Harry said pointing to the brunette. "And this is Mariah," he pointed to the red head. I for some reason, had a feeling that I wouldn't like her. And my gut feelings are always the right feelings if you haven't noticed by now. Perrie tugged on my sleeve signaling that she knew exactly what I was thinking, that's when my phone beeped. I pulled it out of my pocket and my eyes almost popped out of my head.

Don't be too confident when you run away. It may just come back and bite you in the ass.

    XX. Dylan

I gulped and I walked into the kitchen. Eleanor and Perrie followed. (Eleanor had gone with the boys).

"What happened?" Eleanor asked. I couldn't speak. I couldn't find it in me to speak and I handed her my phone. Both Eleanor and Perrie covered their mouths in shock.

"Did this happen to you?" I asked.

"No, it didn't happen to me," Perrie said.

 "Me either," Eleanor said.

"The worst is coming," the two girls said. When Louis warned me, it didn't have as much effect on me like when the girls said it. So maybe this was the end of something that was never beautiful.
