Stronger (Sequel to I Wish)

I reccomend you read 'I Wish' before this one.

It has been one and a half years since Kirsty last saw the members of One Direction. They haven't contacted each other at all over this period so Kirsty has not told them that she is pregnant.
Her pregnancy was unwanted and unexpected and the father is her rapist ex-boyfriend Dylan, who again did it to her 7 months after she had moved away from the boys and out of her Dad's house.
Kirsty, now 18, is now nearing her due date. When she is putting up her decorations in time for Christmas, an early, unexpected present arrives at her door.

29. Don't leave me

Louis' POV

Kirsty is wheeled through the paparazzi and into the hospital, closely followed by me. She is rushed straight into a room that I'm not allowed in and a paramedic comes running over to me.

"What's happening to her? Its our wedding day!" I yell and the paramedic rubs my back.

"I've been told by Dr Macey to send you to his office. He is the doctor that diagnosed your fiance with brain cancer," the paramedic says and guides me to the doctor's office.

She closes the door behind me and I sit at the desk before the doctor that I didn't really want to ever have met.

"Mr Tomlinson, your fiance has collapsed because of her tumor and we had to operate to get it removed. She is in theatre right now so you can stay in here while I go and see to Kirsty," Doctor Macey tells me, and I find it hard to take it all in.

He leaves and all I manage to choke out over the tears is "okay."

Dr Macey's POV

Performing this type of surgery was hard, but I am determined to make it a success for this patient. It was her wedding day, not a day for someone to die. I heard a loud beep and had realised that it was the monitor.

"Assistance please!" I yell and we worked harder, making the beeping steady again.

We have finished removing the tumor, and she is alive. I remove my gloves and jog back to my office, where Mr Tomlinson was, hopefully. I enter the room and Louis is staring at the wall in my office.

"Mr Tomlinson," he shot his head around and noticed I was standing there. He stood up and walked over to me. "Kirsty is stable, so if you would like to continue the wedding here, you're more than welcome to. Kirsty is in a private room and your band members, Lola and a few other of her close friends are in the waiting room, as far as I am aware."

"Oh god, thank you!" Louis exclaims.

"Follow me to the room. I will retrieve the guests," I walk towards Kirsty's room and let Louis in. I turn around and gather the guests from the waiting room, leading them to where the hospital wedding would take place.

Louis' POV

"Do you, Louis William Tomlinson, take Miss Kirsty Evans to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the priest asks me.

"I do," I say confidently, but break down in tears shortly after.

"And do you, Kirsty Evans, take Louis William Tomlinson to be your lawfully wedded husband?" the priest asks Kirsty.

"I... do," she croaks and she slides the ring as best as she can on to my finger. I slide it on the remaining bit of my finger and grab her hand.

"I love you," I say and kiss her, before sliding the ring on to her finger. She holds her hand up for a better glimpse of her ring, before dropping her arm to the bed and closing her eyes.

Beeps filled the room as doctors came rushing in, pushing the crowd out of the way.

"Clear!" one of them yells and tries to revive her. They tried again, and again.

I can't believe it. She's dead.

She's gone.

Kirsty's POV

A bright white light shone in front of me with my mother and father's faces.

"Go back, it's not your time. Go and live your life as Mrs Tomlinson, watch Lola grow up," they yell at me and the light flashes out.

I feel my chest pumping and it hurt. My eyes open and the light of the hospital room blinds me.

"She pulled through, great work everyone," I heard one of the doctors yell and Louis comes rushing over to my side.

"Baby, it's okay. We're married now and you're alive," he takes my hand and kisses it gently.

"Mum? Dad?" I ask and prop myself up on my elbows.

"You need to lay down," a nurse gently eases me down. "It would be best if you all went for a moment, she needs to rest."

Everyone leaves the room, and Louis looks back at me. "Don't leave, I need you here," I tell him and he glances at the nurse for consent. She nods and leaves the room.

"Louis, where's my parents. They were here, they told me to go back and to live my life as Mrs Tomlinson and watch Lola grow up," I ask shakily.

"They're dead, Kirsty," Louis tells me and I start crying.

"Of course, they died ages ago. I saw them though, in a bright light," I tell him through sobs.

"I know you did," he tells me with a hint of disbelief in his voice. He hugs me tightly and I relax into his arms.

"I love you, Mrs Tomlinson," he says to me and kisses me.

"I love you too, Mr Tomlinson," I smile and kiss him back.
