"What you don't do can be a destructive force." - Eleanor Roosevelt

"Daddy!" The small girl's voice echoed through the living room. She jumped up, barely able to see her father's eyes in the rocking chair. "Daddy! Can I go on your lap?" Her lisp made her sound all the bit younger, being a toddler.

"Noel," he chuckled, deep and soft. "Calm down honey, I'll bring you up to daddy's lap."  The man grunted as he lifted his daughter to his legs. She was getting older every day, growing up so fast.

"Daddy?" Noel said, cheekily smiling. "What's k-kidnapping?" She cocked her head, trying to remember the word. Her short brown bangs fell in her face; she blew them back.

The father looked stunned, he was shocked that his precious daughter learned the harsh word. "Honey, where'd you hear that?" He wrapped his arm around his only child, kissing her cheek lightly. It pained him to think she'd grow up one day and leave him, she was the best thing that ever happened to him.

"I saw it on t.v," she said. Being only a young child, she was never able to fully pronounce television, it was too long a word for her age. "What is it, daddy?"

"It's when a bad guy takes you away from daddy," he said into Noel's ear. He stroked her small back, hoping he wasn't frightening her.

"Will that ever happen to me?" questioned little Noel, looking into her father's eyes, scared.

"No, baby." He kissed her head. "In this part of our city, there are no bad guys. It's completely safe."

"What about in other places? Is there kidnapping there?" Her childlike and curious mind made her keep questioning her father, who didn't like the topic. He wanted his daughter to feel safe.

He shook his head calmly, looking into the distance. "That's why you'll always stay here. Safely, with daddy." He tilted his head down, and with a playful smile, said, "Right?"

Noel's eyes fluttered open, slowly and hazily. Where am I? She looked around, and immediately saw Sasha, still out cold, laying sprawled on the floor. She bit her lip, remembering the incident with the man. Worry and doubt flowed through her mind, making her stomach loop. She was pretty sure it was the man with the snake tattoo, but wasn't completely sure. She looked down at herself, nothing was tied up. She moved her lips. Nothing was taped shut. Two sloppily painted doors were on either side of them, four in all. But the weirdest thing was, they where bouncing up and down, shaking all over. That's when she realized, they were in the back of a van.

"Sasha," she whispered. Sasha didn't budge. "Sasha," she hissed louder, stomping her boot on the floor.

Sasha shook her head, her eyes lazily opening. She blinked a few times, then sat up. Noel could see the horror come into her face, the reality of what actually happened. "W-where are we?" The words came out sputtered and urgent. She sat up, hitting her head against the wall by accident.

"In some kind of van apparently." Noel was surprised she wasn't panicking and in tears. She probably would have been if she was alone.

"Well, we-" Sasha started. The door of the van opened, and the shakiness stopped. The vehicle was most likely parked. A man, the same man who was spying on Zayn, climbed in. The snake tattoo was incredibly detailed up close. He sat on his knees and crouched over, a smirkish grin toying on his face.

"Hey girls," he jeered. His voice was deep and playful. He raised an eyebrow. "How was the ride?" He pulled in the doors behind him.

"Get us out of here!" Sasha yelled, shifting positions. She crawled to Noel, feeling safer by her friends side.

Noel spoke, voice shaky. "What do you want with us?"

The man laughed, the same mean grin on him. "Girls, girls. I just want you to know, I can do anything I want with you. You have to listen." He made his way towards the shaking teens. "Do you know what happens if you don't?"

They both shook their heads slowly.

"Good," he licked his lips and scratched his bald head. "Now, we're parked next to a bank, you see? Easy plan. You run in, back door. I have a nifty tool to pick the lock with, works like a charm."

"Wait," Noel said, raising her voice. "You're making us rob a bank!?"

"You learn fast," he sneered.

"You'll GO TO JAIL!" yelled Sasha.

He simply shook his head. "I'm not robbing it, you are," he touched Sasha's nose, and the smile was wiped off his face, suddenly a mean frown. "Because, if you don't do this, you will pay."

Sasha whimpered, leaning against Noel.

"Now, you pick the lock and sneak in. Go to the nearest safe. I have a angle grinder to open it. It'll take super quick." He snapped his fingers. "Get all the money in there, sneak back out, and give it to me. Easy."

"EASY!?" Noel spat.

Sasha sighed. "Someone will see us, dumbass."

He laughed, a deep laughter starting from his chest. "That's why you have pepper spray." He threw them a bottle, and it landed on the floor, rolling towards the middle.

Noel and Sasha looked at each other nervously, not sure what to say.

"I'm going to get the tools for you lovely ladies. Just stay put. If you move, you'll be sorry." He jumped out of the back of the van, not closing the doors fully, and jogged to the front of the truck.
