Poetry - Zayn Malik Fanfiction

Zayn Malik. He's sweet and caring. Never would he hurt a soul. That's his cover. His dirty past is built of lies and destruction. He finds a girl, a girl by the name of Noel. What keeps them sane? Poetry.

“Almost nobody dances sober, unless they happen to be insane.” - H.P. Lovecraft

It's been a few weeks since Zayn lost his sickening fever, it wasn't too bad in the first place. Over those weeks, Noel and Zayn had really bonded. They'd spent countless hours alone, gradually learning more and more about the other. Sasha, on the other hand, wasn't spending as much time with her best friend. She didn't mind, she took the days that Noel was with Zayn to go to work. They got the occasional day where Zayn was busy. Those where the days when Sasha and Noel hung out, usually eating candy in front of MTV.

On that Saturday, Noel and Zayn had the night to themselves. They decided to go to the nearest club, Starstruck.

The couple stepped in, fingers locked together. Immediately music seized over them, pounding through their veins. All was black, except for flashing neon lights, which made Noel cringe. Zayn squeezed her hand, knowing she wasn't good in clubs. "I'm here baby," he said, putting his mouth to her ear. The walked past kissing couples, skidded near aggressive dancers, and tried to ignore bar fights. They ended up finding two open seats at a bar, away from the speakers, making the music softer.

They took a seat, and Zayn ordered two appleitnis for them. "Ya' liking it so far?" Zayn said, kissing Noel's jawline, moving up to her ear, pecking the earlobe.

She hummed appreciatively, ruffling up his hair with her fingers. "As long as you're here," She said, eyes closed and mouth grinning.

He brought his head down to hers, lips skimming her cheek. "You won't regret coming here." His eyelashes fluttered against her temple, nose touching her cheekbone. She bit her lip, eyes still closed. Smelling the familiar scent of her boyfriend, she turned her head so their noses would touch.

"I hope not."

A male bartender made his way towards the couple, drinks in hands. "Two appletinis." He set them down, wiping the counter with a white towel that was originally slung on his shoulder. He walked away, back to the beer dispenser.

Zayn took them, sliding one to Noel. He took a swig, swallowing loudly. "Mmm," he said, making a refreshed sigh. "Try a sip." He nodded towards Noel, who was hastily grabbing the glass.

Noel laughed. "I haven't had one of these in forever!"

"Well, you weren't aloud to drink in America anyway, babe." He licked the iced edge of the glass, sucking a bit. "Try it."

She took a sip, letting the tart taste simmer on her mouth. The cold liquid trickled swiftly down her throat, a refreshing feeling. She looked back at Zayn, who was taking gulps from the glass thirstily. He set it down, standing up.

"Where are you going?" Noel questioned. He smiled, offering his hand to her.

"I want to dance with you, babe." He clenched her hand, his palm rough against her smooth skin. They walked to the dance floor, music getting louder as they arrived. Dancers were everywhere, some really feeling the music, while some lazily shook their arms by their sides.

"Turn around."

Zayn's voice was soft, yet demanding. Noel turned, back facing Zayn. Zayn took this as an opportunity. He wrapped his long arms around the front of Noel's stomach, just over her waste. He moved closer, listening intently for sounds of pleasure from his girlfriend. Hearing nothing, he pressed his stomach and waste against her, gently rolling his hips to the rhythmic song.

Noel's breath got hitched in her throat, and she shut her eyes. "Zayn," she breathed, hands clenching his arms. "More." Zayn hummed deeply, hips moving faster and harder. He smiled at the yelps of pleasure from Noel, loving the satisfaction. He brought his head down, noticing people were staring.

"Babe, take this home, alright?"

Suddenly Noel was turned around to face Zayn again, who was looking down at her. "Ok," she whispered, heart racing.
