you found me

I thought It would be the perfect night of my life. That nothing could go wrong and i would remember that night forever. well i was right about one thing. I would remember that night forever, but not for the reasons i wanted.

9. Therapy?!

*three weeks later*

" alright may. That's it. Get up. You have an appointment with a therapist. Get dressed were leaving in twenty minutes." My brother barged into my room and ripped the curtains open, letting the light flood through. I groaned and snuggled deeper under the covers. "No. No way are you getting out of this." Luke sat on the end of the bed and said more softly," may. It's been almost a month and you still haven't said anything. You're a mute and we need to get you help. You can't go through life like this." That got me angry. Who's to say how I can or can't live my life. I ripped my covers off myself, surprising him, and started to get ready furiously and rushed. Luke was waiting for me in the drive way and I ran out, got in the car and slammed the door. "Look I know you're angry but come on. Please. Do this for me." I huffed and buckled my seatbelt. This wasn't going to be solved so easy.

*in the waiting room*

I sat on the plush waiting room chairs, flipping through a 17magazine minding my own business when a girl about my age sits down next to me. She had brown hair and brown eyes. "So, what are you here for?" She asked. I just looked at her. "Oh. You're a mute aren't you." I nodded then looked back at my magazine."well I'm only here because my brother died and my mom thought I needed therapy because I got over his death so quickly but truthfully, I just accepted the fact that he's gone. Anyway, my names Jaime." I froze. Jaime. I looked at her with a pained expression. No. No. No. I didn't want her to be here. I didn't need nor want another Jaime. No one could replace her. " whoa are you okay? You look really pale." She asked. "May? The doctor is ready." I got up. "Oh so your name is may? Nice name." I nodded and headed towards the therapist office. There was a woman dressed in light colors sitting behind a desk placed in front of a lounger. "Please sit," the woman said. Great. Day one of hell had begun.
