The President's Daughter

When the President of the United States invites the one and only One Direction to the White House to perform for his 10-year old Brooke, will one of them fall for Brooke’s older sister Kendall? Will Kendall feel the same?

(P.S The President’s name is changed because of his privacy and it’s fiction so… yeah!)

2. Good Morning!

*Next Morning*

I sat up and yawned, stretching my arms. I looked over at the clock, 7:15 am. I had to be at breakfast at 8 so I decided I would take a shower and get dressed for the day. I got out of bed and walked over to my closet. I chose a floral dress and a pair of sandals. I set my clothes on the bed and walked into the bathroom, starting my daily routine. I grabbed a towel out of my bathroom closet and set it on the rack. I slipped off my clothes and hopped in.

*Skipping Shower*

I finished drying myself off and wrapped the towel around my body. I walked out, grabbed my clothes, and went back in to change. I threw on the dress and grabbed the hair brush. I turned on the blow dryer so it would dry faster. I put my hair up in a bun and checked to make sure it looked alright.

“Kendall, breakfast is ready!” Phillip shouted through the bathroom door.

“I’ll be down in a moment.” I said. I brushed my teeth and walked briskly down the stairs, knowing I was late for breakfast.

“Good morning Kendall, how did you sleep?” Dad asked.

“Great!” I said sitting next to him.

“Happy birthday Brooke!” I said hugging her.

“Thank you!” She giggled. Our breakfast was brought in to us and we began to eat.

“So, what’s the game plan for today honey?” My Mom asked Dad.

“Well, I don’t know actually. I have to get some work done then we can figure it out.” He said.

“But Daddy, it’s my birthday! Can’t you skip work today?” She asked giving him puppy dog eyes.

“Princess, Daddy has to run a country, he can’t just skip a day. I don’t have that much work anyway so at noon, I’m done. Ok?” He asked.

“Ok Daddy.” She said taking a bite of a pancake.

“Mr. President, there is call for you.” Mary said walking into the room.

“I’ll be right back.” He said getting up.

“Are you excited Brooke?” Mom asked her.

“Yes, yes, yes!!!” She squealed. My Dad walked back into the room smiling.

“That was quick!” I said.

“It was One Direction’s manager.” He said.

“And?” Brooke asked. “Their hotel reservations fell through.” He said.

“They aren’t coming?” Brooke said, tears filling her eyes.

“They’ll be spending the night here!” He said.

All of a sudden my sister started to cry. “What’s wrong Brooke?” I asked.

“One Direction is going to be here today, and they’re spending the night!” She cried. My Mom, Dad, and I started to laugh.

“Thank you soooo much Mom and Dad!!” she said giving them kisses on the cheek.

“May I be excused?” She asked.

“You’ve barely touched your breakfast.” Mom said.

“I’m not very hungry.” She replied.

“Ok.” Mom said.

“Kendall, could you help Mary with the dishes, I have to go figure out sleeping situations for the boys.” Mom said as we finished breakfast.

“Of course Mom.” I smiled, taking up the empty plates. I carried them into the kitchen and set them in the sink.

“Kendall, what are you doing?” Mary asked walking into the kitchen.

“I’m here to help with the dishes.” I said. She put a hand on her hip.

“Kendall, go do whatever you teenagers do, this is my job.” She said.

“Well, what normal teenagers do, I’m not allowed.” I said.

“Well, you could go calm your sister down. She’s in her room crying, singing, and screaming.” Mary laughed.

“Ok.” I said smiling.

I walked up the stairs to Brooke’s room. “Brooke! Can I come in?” I asked knocking on her door.

“Yeah!” She said. I opened the door and saw all of her poster of One Direction.

“Who’s your favorite again?” I asked.

“Louis William Tomlinson!” She said kissing her poster.

“My god Brooke, you’re kissing a poster!” I said.

She shrugged. “Oh well.”

“I’m going to the bathroom.” She said.

“I’ll be going through your phone!” I said grabbing her phone on the bed.

“You better not!” She called from the bathroom. She had placed a password on it.

“Brooke, when’s Louis’ birthday?” I asked.

“December, 24th!” She said.

“Why?” She added.

“Nothing, just wondering.” I said as I put ‘1224’ into her phone. It was right and an app called ‘Movellas’ popped up. I saw she was reading a book called ‘Moments In Time’ “Approximately 6 hours to read?! Jesus!” I said.

“Why are you on my phone?!” Brooke said grabbing her phone from me.

“6 hours to read one story?!” I laughed.

“It’s really good!” She said. (A/N: 'Moments In Time' is an actual story and it's really good!!)

“Well, you go back to reading. I’ll be in my room!” I said walking to the door.

“Have fun!” She said climbing back into bed with her phone.
