The Nanny

ONE DIRECTION NOT FAMOUS! This story doesn't really has a prologue but well...

Having your parents' trust isn't hard to get, but once you loose it, it'll be hard to get back... But now I think i isn't completely a bad thing, I mean, call it fate or however you want, but it happened.

You never know wht can happen, and well maybe a trip changed everything. This is my story, this was my nanny.

I know it doesn't say much but I couldn't come up with a real prologue, anyway, I hope you cn get attached to it easily like I did.

1. Nanny

"Emily, can you come down?" Mum was calling me from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yelled and stood on my feet to go down. "What's up?" I asked smiling, but when I saw my parents sitting at the table with their blank expressions I knew it was something serious.
"We need to talk." My dad said.
"But I haven't done anything!" I said immediately causing them to laugh.
"It's not that," mom said
"Then?" I was relieved; if it wasn't 'cause I was in trouble then I had no idea what could it be.
"Emily..." dad sighed, "We need to go out for a while." He said seriously.
"Vacations?" I asked while sitting in front of them, "cool! Where are we going?"
"No, we're not going on vacations."
"Your dad and I have to go out for a while, you know, work…" mom explained, "we're taking Anna but you have to stay here." Okay, this was not good, they're going out with my little sister and leaving me behind!
"So you're just abandoning me?!" I said mad.
"No, we're not abandoning you," they laughed again. "Your classes start tomorrow and we don't want you to get behind, and of course we don’t want any trouble." Trouble? Me? I laughed in my mind.
"So you're also calling me problematic? Even though you're abandoning me out of nowhere?" I was being dramatic, I know.
"Stop being dramatic and forget about that list of people." They knew me well, or maybe they could read my mind 'cause they knew I was making a list of the people I would invite to a party.
"hey, you need to trust me!" I said laughing
"That 'trust', win it"
"You'll see, when you come back everything's gonna be more than perfect!" I smiled big.
"I know…"
"See there? Now you're trusting me the house!"
"Not you," said mom laughing loudly
"What do you mean?" I said clearly confused.
"We got you a babysitter!" they said at the unison, I laughed stupidly and pretended to clean my ears.
"What did you say?" I asked, maybe it was just my imagination or they were joking.
"We got you a babysitter, he's coming to make sure you don't destroy the house and you don't get suspended from school." I wouldn't call myself problematic, I just am a character.
"Dad! Do you not see how stupid this is?" I was mad, again. "I'm seventeen years old, not four!"
"But we can't leave you all alone! We got a nanny!" It was impossible to make him change his mind.
"Sure, no problem," I laughed. "I'll get rid of him" I said crossing my arms.
"I don't think so, he's getting a lot of money, so I don't think there's something you can do to make him run away; besides, and he's in charge of the money. If you need money you'll have to ask him and if you don't behave he has permission not to give you any, also he can take your car, phone, laptop, and everything that would make you mad to be without." My eyes widened.
"So, you trust this completely stranger instead of your daughter? You trust him to take care of me?"
"He's not a stranger; he's one of my partner's son so there's nothing to worry about."
"B...But," I was indignated.
"No buts" dad interrupted me.
"He's coming tomorrow" added mom.
"So, you're leaving tomorrow?" I asked surprised.
"That's right," said dad
I muffed annoyed and went to my room.

I heard my alarm and automatically pulled the covers up above my head.
After five minutes Anna came to my room to wake me up, for some weird reason she was always so happy in the mornings. I took a shower and got dressed for school []
still sleepy I grabbed my bag and went downstairs, took my car keys and boarded my precious car.
"What's wrong with your face, girl?" asked Eleanor, my best friend while she rested on the locker beside mine.
"You know what's wrong?" I said while I shut the door close. "My parents are going on a trip for a few months…"
"That doesn't seem like a problem," She interrupted me
"That's not it! The problem is they don't 'trust' me enough to leave me by myself!" I sighed, "So they hired a babysitter." I murmured.
"Babysitter!?" she said impressed
"Thanks Eleanor, they didn't hear you in the third floor"
"Sorry," she laughed "I still don't see what's the problem, he can be cute." She winked at me
"Right," I said sarcastically "I believe he's one of those guys with tied-at-waist pants, buttoned-to-top shirt and some huge lenses."
"Sounds pretty nice," we both laughed.
"Eleanor!" I said still laughing.
"Well, just think about it, it would be easier to seduce a nerd. So, what are you doing?"
"I don't know, according to my dad he's getting paid a lot and he'll stand anything I do, so I have no idea."
"That's not the Emily Smith I am friends with." She had a devilish grin.
"You're right… I'll think about something."

The day went by fast and we walked to my car. I offered to take her home as usual, so I drove to her house, which was just a few streets away from mine.
"I'll see you tomorrow," she said getting out of the car. "oh, and by the way, you have to tell me how thing go with your Babysitter."
"Shut up or you'll walk home tomorrow!" I said laughing.

I now drove home, and was about to park my car when I saw a red convertible that was in my way; it was parked in my lot.
I parked it aside, took my purse and went inside.
"I'm home!" I said as soon as I crossed the door.
"Emily," mum was calling me from the kitchen. "Come here, I want you to meet someone…"
