The Vampire.

Vampires are fake, right? Wrong. A vampire constantly follows me; but once I see the light, the darkness gets a bit more swallowed. But the dark always exists there; and with dark, comes trouble. I'm still scared to death, of course. I'm not going to fall in love with a vampire..or I'll try not to. I love him. I know I do. I think I do. I guess I do. He still scares me. And with love, comes struggle. Leading up to love? That's even worse. Vampire or not, I love him. "I'm trouble." "I know."

15. Chapter Eleven.

Heather paces around the room.
“Why would you kiss him?” She asks for the hundredth time this night.
“He kissed me.” I say.
“Takes two people to kiss.” I scoff.
“Why’re you so worried about it?”
“He doesn’t really love you.”
“Are you trying to trick me? First you tell me he loves me; then you tell me he doesn’t. I want the truth.”
“He can’t commit; and you’re not any different.”
“Maybe I am!” I shout, finally losing my temper.
“I doubt it.” She says, keeping calm.
“What is wrong with you?! You’re supposed to be supportive!”
“I don’t trust him.”
“Whatever.” I finish, walking up to my bedroom. I walk straight to the bathroom and get into the shower. When I get out, I throw on light blue skinny jeans and a grey oversized sweater. I throw on my pink converse, and let my dirty blonde curls flow naturally. I lay in bed, and pull the covers to my chin as if I’m about to sleep. Heather treats me as a child. She then opens the door to my bedroom.
“Sorry for getting so defensive. Goodnight.” She says.
“Night.” I reply, as she shuts my door. I throw the covers off of myself, and jump out of bed. I crawl out of my window. I then feel my fangs sink out of my gums, and I poke them.
“Ewwie..They’re so pointy.” I say out loud to no one. I begin to walk, not knowing what I’m actually doing. I’m just bored, and not tired. I sigh, realizing I’m bored. Which I knew. My fangs sink back into my gums, and I pout.
“That’s not fair.” I once again say to no one. I’m going crazy.
“Hi.” Someone says. Startled, I jump into the air. When I turn around, I see Harry.
“Why.” Is all I say. He laughs, and comes up next to me.
“Awww, why are you pouting?” He asks. I guess I never wiped the pouty look off of my face.
“My fangs came out for like, 10 minutes and then they were gone.”
“That’s what you get.”
“What I get? You turned me into a vampire!”
“But you’re a hot vampire.” I roll my eyes.
“Why are you out so late, anyway?” He asks.
“I wasn’t tired, and Heather was being annoying.” I say.
“She has a tendency to do that.”
“You think knowing her since 6th grade means nothing? I know her well, and I know she just loves to be annoying.”
“Wait why are you out?” I ask, tracing back to what we said before.
“I couldn’t sleep.”
“No sleepy time!” I shout, fist pumping.
“You’re so..weird.”
“Thank you, Harry. I appreciate that.” He shakes his head back and forth; obviously trying to understand me.
“You’ll never understand me.” I say. He rubs his temples.
“Yeah you’re right.” He drops his hands to his sides. Without hesitation, he interlocks our hands.
“You might as well walk home.” He says. I shrug, and we begin walk to back towards my house. Once we get there, he drops my hand.
“Night.” He says.
“Night.” I say. We stand there awkwardly, and then he pecks my lips. He gives me a quick hug, and walks away. I then realize the front door is locked; and I have no key. I sigh, and sit on the front porch step, leaning my head on the screen door. I end up falling asleep, the cool breeze blowing my hair.
