1. Chapter one

Hayden Daniels sits wide awake in her bed room, studying for her triginomitry exam tomorrow. Her long brown hair resting in a messy bun on the top of her head, a few loose strands cascading down her circle shaped face. She takes her left hand pushing the strands behind her ear, and pushes her reading glasses up onto the crook of her freckled nose.

Hayden was an attractive girl for her age, but was never one to flaunt it. Her big auburn eyes were proudly shown out due to her pale skin. She had freckles all over her face, and had long curly brown hair. She only wore glasses when reading, and always dressed like everyone else. She did wear makeup, but very few layers, maybe some skin makeup and eye liner, but nothing else. But yet, she was never one of the talkitive types. She was quiet, and always made good grades. Sat in the back of the class, and never bothered with boys. She foudn relationships usless, and a waste of time. She had boys all over school wanting her, but rejeted them. And a specific boy, Jack Vaughn, was quite angry that she rejected him as well.

Jack Vaughn was a tall, maybe 6'0, 18 year old. He had his brown hair swept to the side, and his bright blue eyes, the color of the sea, making his tan skin stand out quite well. He was charming, smart, and funny, but things just came to him. He never had to study for anything, ask for anything. Everything just came to him naturally. Every girl in school was all over him, wanted him. But he only wanted one girl. And that girl would be Hayden Daniels. HE found her intriguing, and captivating. He found it strange that she wasnt like the other girls, all over him and everything of he sorts.

Hayden and Jack had two out of six classes together out of the school day. Triginometry, and English. Right now, while Hayden was studying, Jack was looking at Haydens year book picture. she doesnt even acknowladge me. Why is that? He asked him self over and over, while cautiously running the pad of his index finger over the curves of her face, and the dimples in her cheeks when she smiled. Jack had never been so infatuated with a girl before, and found it strange that he was falling so hard for this one. Maybe it was because she ignored him? Maybe it was because she wasnt like every other girl. Who knows?

Hayden sighed deeply, slamming her textbook shut, and flopping down back on her bed, her hands covering her face, and her hair begining to fall apart on the top of her head. Why cant it just come to me? Why does it have to be so hard? She mumbled to herself. She slammed her hands down next to her, propping herself up, and getting up to turn off the lights. She picked up her school books, setting them on her wooden desk, and walking over, climbing into her silk sheets and underneath her down comforter. She snuggled into her pillow, placing her left hand underneath her pillow, curling her legs up to her chest, and stared into the darkness. Why is he so desperate to get with me? Im not a desperate slut, and im not going to give in. He is just a player, like the rest of them. She said in her head while slowly falling asleep.
