This is for the poetry competition. It's about well... rain

1. Rain

I watched the tears hit the window pane

Trickling down onto the window frame

The clouds releasing all the rain

Almost as if releasing wet pain

When it's too full take anymore

It lets go it's vast water store

When I was little I pretended it was a race

Or the two eyes of a smiley face

Rain keeps you indoors

Making you feel tired and bored

But I don't see it in that way

A lukewarm shower on a midspring day

But a beauty of nature I believe

Not the dreary weather most concieve

Some say it is god crying

So are scientists lying?

Rain is what you want it to be

Let it set your imagination free

I like rain, clear shimmering blue

I like rain.... but what is it to you?
