Forever & Always

19 Year old Addie's dreams finally come true. She marries the man of her dreams. When things take a turn, well, you never know that happens in the life of a rock star.

1. Wedding Bells

“Addie, the first time I met you, I pulled you up on stage with me so I could sing to you. You were 16 and I knew right away that I had to have you or I’d die. When you kissed me up on stage, I knew that that was the kind of girl I wanted to have. You are confident and crazy and the most beautiful girl that I have ever met. I promise you that I will take care of you when you are sick. I promise to love you through everything we got through. I promise to be your husband until I die and in my life after” Joe said.

“Joe, when I woke up the morning of the day I met you, I knew that something amazing was going to happen. When you pulled me up on stage I thought it was a dream come true. You are so caring and funny and I know that I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I promise you that I will love you with all my heart. You and no other. I promise I will take care of you when you are sick or injured,” I smiled sarcastically, “And most of all, I promise to be your wife for the rest of my life on this earth and in our life in heaven.”

“You may now kiss the bride,” the preacher said.

Joe put one arm around my waist and the other on my cheek. He leaned down and kissed me softly. This kiss reminded me of the very first time he kissed me. It was passionate and sweet but not to the point where it would gross people out. As we pulled away, we looked each other in the eyes and whispered “finally.” Joe and I were finally married. And I was finally Mrs. Joseph Adam Jonas.  I smiled at the thought of this. Joe picked me up bridal style and ran down the aisle to the back of the church as everyone was throwing rice at us. As we got outside, the photographer took our picture with me in Joe’s arms. We got in the limo and headed towards the venue where the reception party was. When we got to the door, he stopped and smiled.

“After you, Mrs. Jonas,” he said with a smile. I was going to have to get used to that. I kissed him as I walked through the door.

“Why thank you, Mr. Jonas.” I said smiling. The driver took the long way to the venue so by the time we got there, everyone was there and waiting for us. When we walked in the room, everyone cheered for us. Joe and I went to everyone individually and greeted them with a smile. Joe and I cut the cake and when everyone got a slice, we got our slices and shoved it in each other’s mouth. I kissed him and I knew that everything was just perfect. There was not a single hair out of place.

I heard the door to the venue open. I wasn’t expecting anyone else to come. I didn’t invite anyone else to come. The man that walked in seemed familiar somehow. ‘Oh no,’ I thought, ‘why is he here?’ I was about to break down and cry. Joe looked at me and I could tell he was worried.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

“That man that just walked in, is my ex. We dated sophomore year of high school and he left me for my best friend.” I said.

“Do you want me to deal with it?” Joe asked me.

“No. If he causes problems, then I’ll deal with it. And if things get out of hand there, then you can step in.” I kissed him to assure him that I was ok. I didn’t want to know what he was doing here.
