1. -poem-

We’ve all changed
What really happened here?
We blame it on society
On all the big changes in our sad small town lives.
But is that really it?

Now I’m sitting here,
My hands are nearly shaking
I’m waiting for a call,
That probably won’t come.
Cause what is there to say?

There’s these thoughts in my mind,
Haunting my conscience.
They’re dark, waiting for my permission.
To tear me to shreds.
Is it possible to prevent that?

Am I supposed to keep going?
If that is, have I then deserved,
A nudge in the right direction?
I can only guess that it’s unlikely,
But if I have
Could you do me a favor instead?

Give it to someone that can be saved.
