Friends With Benefits

1. Chapter 1

We drove up to his driveway and he cut the engine. I got out of the car and followed him up to his house. He opened the door and led me up the stairs to his bedroom.

"Where am I going to sleep?" I asked.
"With me of course, there's room for both of us," he replied.
"Oh okay," I said.

"But I sleep naked, Love, I hope you don't mind," he said cheekily.
"Oh hush," I said with a giggle as I started to blush.
He noticed this and smiled. Those dimples. My God.

His bed was kind of small, which sent butterflies through my stomach as I thought of how close we'd be laying next to each other.

"Erm, Harry...I don't have any clothes to sleep in." I said, realizing I couldn't sleep in this dress that was cutting off my circulation.
"Oh, right! No worries, Leslie, I've got you covered," He said, rummaging through his drawer.
Oh great, he has leftover clothes from all the other girls he has brought to his room.
To my surprise, he pulled out his own clothes.
"Well I don't have any girls clothes, obviously," he said with a smile, "But here's one of my shirts, and a pair of my boxers."

"Can you help me unzip my dress?" I asked.
I turned around and his hand slightly touched my bare back. A chill went through me. He unzipped it just enough for me to be able to undo the rest myself. I headed to the bathroom.
After I got changed, and brushed my teeth with a spare toothbrush he had, I headed back to his room as quietly as possible. I didn't want to wake up his mum. She loved me, but I didn't know what she would say if she knew I spent the night with Harry.

I softly knocked on his door.
"Come in, Love."
I loved it when he called me "Love."
What am I doing? He's my best friend. I can't be feeling this way. I don't want to ruin what we have. But he's just so amazing. Why does he have to be so charming?
I quietly walked in and silently closed the door behind me.
"You don't have to sneak around, babe." He said with a laugh. He was only wearing boxers. His body looked amazing.
Stop it.
"But I've never slept over, I don't know what your mum would think," I said.
"I don't think she'd mind," he said. "But remember, she's not even here, she went on that cruise with my dad!"
"Oh, right!"
"Don't worry. Plus even if she was here, she knows we're only best friends."
It shouldn't have, but when he said that a little part of my heart broke. Only best friends. That was it. He didn't feel the same. But it's okay. I was still going to enjoy this night with him. After all we really were best friends and I loved spending time with him, whatever my feelings for him may be.

"My clothes look lovely on you," he said with a chuckle. "No girl has ever had the privilege of wearing my boxers," he said cheekily.

I couldn't help but blush. "Well I feel honored," I said jokingly, rolling my eyes.

I crawled into bed next to him, turning my back towards him. I didn't want to make things awkward. It was a tight fit.

He reached over me and turned out his lamp.

"Are you cold?" he asked.

"Just a little. But I'm more concerned that I might fall face first off of this bed," I laughed.

"Well here, come closer, I'm not going to bite."
Bringing me in closer, he put his arm around my waist.
"Now I can protect you from falling off the bed, " he said sweetly.

My heart fluttered.

"Haha, thanks," I managed to say.

My back was touching his bare chest. Every breath he took I could feel.
Soon we both fell asleep. It was the most wonderfully peaceful sleep that I had ever had.
