My Writing Diary

This is just the steps I use here, and maybe a few inspiration notes. If you're interested, read it, but if you're not, please don't read it then insult me. :( Anyway, this will refer to other people's movellas, so if you choose to follow these steps with me, you might want to find them. That's all!

87. 25th July 2014 Extended

Note: I wrote this on the 25th of July and my internet flaked after that. Bear that in mind.
Hey. ^_^ I've just been to the Coronation Street Tour and, other than the obvious, my writing bunnies had a field day. I got a notebook (plain-paged) and a pen. Then a load of feels when I started watching a highlights video about five minutes long. Meanwhile, my dead feels reminded me - as they have a lot recently - just how much I want this...dream?

Being...organised (pfft), I have a 'to do list' for the summer. I write in a slightly crazy shorthand, even when typing, so here's the run through of it:
I'll be writing in my usual cycle, as often as possible (with days off for other things). In between each chapter, I'll be working on one several competitions I have down for this summer. Five are poetry, two are short stories and one provides a choice between the two. The first is The Foyle Young Poets Of The Year Award and it's due on the 31st of July.
I'll be proof-reading 2-3 chapters every weekend, until I'm done with the fellow writer I'm helping now. He's great to work with and I'll be sad when I finish this. D: He's heading for publishing.
I have an extra GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) that I take outside of school hours. Just after them, in fact, on Wednesdays. I've been told to try and make a little progress outside of school, seen as this is a rare exception because we worked hard to get the extra time with this teacher. So I'm going to try and make some progress. Drawing inside, painting outside because the paint isn't good for my sister's health.
This is more of an indulgence than a task - getting the most of the games I have before the next one comes out. XD I'm terrible for that. I also need to catch up with roleplay sites - and Hogwarts is Here where I need to finish my time as a First Year. Sort things out on my phone (the memory is almost full)...

Unfortunately, the internet at our house has well and truly given up by the time I write this. Which means the ones from that list that I wanted to do this weekend. I can write but not publish. I can't proof-read. I can make progress on my art. I can't do anything on roleplay sites, or Hogwarts is Here... I'll have to charge my old iPod because I now use the exercise bike that's been sitting and gathering dust. I used to use YouTube but, alas, no internet connection. And, in between all this, I can play 'The Sims 3', read and watch Sanctuary. XD
