First Day In Forever

Amy has always dreamt of being prom queen, but not being part of the popular group hasn’t helped her. Neither has not being able to get a date, when she really wants Lucas, her crush, to ask her. When her best friends suggests a blind date, Amy decides to take the plunge, but will it all work out?

Leave me a comment saying if you’re Team Logan, Chace or Lucas :D Thanks xoxo

I would love if you could leave me some comments as to what to include next in the book, because I’d love to hear your ideas for the plot! Thanks :D

UPDATE Hey, everyone – it’s been a while! Anywho, an updated draft of FDIF has been sitting on my computer for a while, so I thought I may as well upload it as I continue to make improvements. This way, I can take your comments into account and hopefully each edit will be better than the last! Thank you all for your support, means a lot to me :D

A while later, as I imagined everyone having fun at prom, completely forgetting I existed, the doorbell rang. This perked me up. My mind was thinking 'Amy, it's Logan, here to forgive you and take you to prom' My thoughts were confirmed when my mom called up the stairs "Amy, it's for you." I realised I mustn't have looked the best in my candy cane pajamas, but I flew downstairs none the less. Only, Logan wasn't waiting at the door. "I know how much tonight means to you, so I thought I'd take you." said Chace. He looked great, in a black tuxedo with a sapphire tie. I couldn't help thinking that was what Logan was supposed to have worn. Anyway, I was thrilled. Chace took a little box from behind his back, and handed it to me. Inside, were three pink roses on a corsage. "My brother got this for you. We figured it wouldn't be any use to us, so it's for you" he said. I took it out of the box and Chace slid it onto my wrist. "Thank you," I said hoarsely, because of all the crying I'd been doing, "for everything. The roses, taking me to prom, not judging me for how badly I treated your brother..." "Oh, I'm judging you. What you did was really bad, and you broke his heart. So we're not going to break yours." He then looked at my attire. "Umm, if we want to be there on time, you should probably get ready..." he said. "Right," I said, "give me ten minutes." I said as I ran up the stairs, ecstatic I hadn't returned the dress. I let the tears fall freely while I slipped on my dress. I don't know if I was relived that Chace had come or ashamed of myself that I was glad he had. I quickly brushed makeup over my face, knowing that it would only be Chace paying attention to me, and not Logan. I walked slowly down the stairs, wiping the last few tears from my cheeks and stopped beside Chace. I swallowed my tears and let him take me outside to his little, shiny car while he said "Mr, Mrs Cast, pleasure to meet you." Chace didn't say much, only asking for directions. I guessed he was still judging me silently so he wouldn't have to when we got there. As he pulled up in the parking lot of the hall where they were holding prom, I could see the fairy lights and red carpet on the way in, and hear the loud bass of the music. It was exactly the way I'd imagined it. Although, I had imagined going with my boyfriend, not my ex's brother.
