First Day In Forever

Amy has always dreamt of being prom queen, but not being part of the popular group hasn’t helped her. Neither has not being able to get a date, when she really wants Lucas, her crush, to ask her. When her best friends suggests a blind date, Amy decides to take the plunge, but will it all work out?

Leave me a comment saying if you’re Team Logan, Chace or Lucas :D Thanks xoxo

I would love if you could leave me some comments as to what to include next in the book, because I’d love to hear your ideas for the plot! Thanks :D

8. Date

That weekend, I walked over to Logans house and knocked on the door. A gorgeous boy answered the door. He looked a bit like Logan, but must have been about a year older. He had the same blonde-brown hair as Logan, but his was a bit longer and flopped over his forehead. He also had the most perfect blue eyes, deep enough to fall into. I was enthralled. Then I remembered I was standing on his doorstep with my mouth hanging open. "Oh, hi. Erm, I'm, err, looking for Logan. Does he live here?" I said, still not believing my eyes. "Yeah, he does. You must be Amy. I'm Chace Wilder, Logans older brother. Come on in" he said. 'Wow, good looks run in the family, then' I thought to myself, smiling at my thoughts. I stepped past him as he extended a muscly, tanned arm towards the hallway, ushering me in. Chace shouted up the stairs at Logan and he came bounding down the stairs. "Hey Amy, how're you? Ready to go?" he asked me. I nodded at him, trying to look at him, but unable to take my eyes away from Chace. "Ooh, you guys be sure to have fun playing Crazy Golf! Wow!" Chace joked, and Logan playfully punched him. "We will" said Logan, glaring at Chace, as Logan took my arm and led me to the car. As we drove, Logan told me about Westbrook High, and his parts on the sports teams. He was actually really interesting, and I promised I'd go show up to his next game. To see him this time, and not just Lucas, I reminded myself. I really, really needed to stop thinking of Lucas. We soon arrived at the Crazy Golf, and Logan picked up our clubs and golf balls. I was purple and he was blue. It was a really great date, and I had loads of fun making fun of Logan when he missed the hole, and cheering him on when he got it in. "It's official," I said, "you're better than me at Crazy Golf" "C'mon, you're not that bad, you just don't have the technique quite right" he said as he came and put his hands over mine on the club. "Okay, wait til there's no obstacles, and... SWING!" I did as he said and we both laughed hysterically when it didn't go in. "Okay," he said, "Maybe you do suck at this." Laughing, he took my hand and pulled me over to where the ball was for my next shot. When we were finished, and Logan won with a much higher score than me (we decided to stop counting our scores after the second hole, as it was quite obvious Logan was winning) he took me to the diner, and we sat and ate ice cream sundaes.
