17. Chapter 15

Siobhan’s P.O.V

“Whatever,” I muttered walking away from Fraser. I heard him calling after me but I just ignored it and went to stand with Bex.

“Hey,” she greeted. “Why aren’t you with F-.” She trailed off when she saw Fraser and Annabelle dancing. “Don’t you mind?!” she practically yelled, getting stares from people stood around us. I shrugged. “You do realise she’s some crazy psychotic bitch right?”

“She’s not going to do anything and I trust Fraser.” Bex rolled her eyes at me.

“Sure, sure.” I looked over to the dance floor and saw Annabelle smirking at me, before mouthing “mine”.

Fraser said something to her then and she smiled at him before going on her tip toes and…kissing him. Tears automatically filled my eyes as I watched her smile and wave at him before walking away. So many emotions ran through my head and then he turned around to look at me.

“I-it’s not what it looks like,” he said, stuttering slightly.

“You lied to me.”

“I never lied to you. I would n-,” I cut him off by holding up a hand.

“Don’t say you would never lie to me. Y-you kissed her! You told me you love me and you KISSED her,” I yelled at him.

“I didn’t kiss her!”

“I don’t care! I don’t want to hear it! You never loved me, and now I know that you’re definitely not over her,” I continued. He stepped towards me and I stepped back.

“I am over her!”

“No. I can see that whatever ‘feelings’ you had for me are gone,” I said. “And I assure you the feelings I had for you…are gone.” Lie.

“Don’t do this,” he croaked.

“We’re done,” I told him as my tears ran down my cheeks.

Bex was next to me again in an instant. I saw Fraser try to get closer to me but Olly blocked him. As they talked it was easy to see Fraser was getting more and more frustrated.

“Do you want to go now?” Bex murmured into my ear. I nodded because I wasn’t sure I was able to form words again yet.

“Come on, let’s go.” Olly was on my side as we walked out of the hall, people were staring and whispering as they watched us. As we got to the door I saw Faith and she gave me a sympathetic half smile. I couldn’t bring myself to smile back at her, but Bex glared at her.

I sat in Olly’s car and I could hear Bex and Olly talking quietly. Mainly curse words from Bex’s side which almost made me smile.

“No you cannot go back in there and beat the crap out of him!” I heard Olly say, he seemed to be slightly amused by her anger.

Then more words from Bex.

“Get in the car woman!” he laughed loudly and then groaned. She must have punched him or something.

The front two car doors opened and they got in. Bex turned in her seat and looked at me.

“Do you want to go home or…?” I shook my head.

“I don’t want to go home yet,” I croaked.

“Are you guys okay with coming back to mine like we planned?” Olly asked.

I shrugged as Bex said, “Why not.”

The drive took us about 15 minutes.

“Dammit,” he growled as we got out of the car.

“No one was supposed to be home tonight.” I glanced at the big house in front of us and I saw lights on in two different rooms.

Bex raised an eyebrow.

“Should in matter?”

“No.” He grabbed our bags from the boot of the car and made his way to the front door.

“Hey Olly! You’re back early.” I heard a familiar voice.

“Yeah,” he muttered in reply. There were footsteps and the first door in the house opened.

“Nathan?!” I cried in surprise.

“What are you doing here?!” we both asked at the same time and then laughed.

“I live here,” he said still laughing.

“So why are you here?”

“Staying overnight. We have a trip in the morning.”

“Oh…cool. Hey, have you been crying?” he asked me, looking concerned.

“Hey I’m Bex!” I shot her a grateful smile and she winked at me in response.

“Nathan,” he said offering a hand for her to shake. He looked at all of us quickly. “No Fraser?” he asked, looking directly at me. I shifted on my feet, uncomfortable at his intense gaze.

“I’ll show you guys to the guest room then,” Olly interrupted.

“I can’t believe he’d go and do that!” Bex exclaimed as soon as Olly shut the door.

“I-I don’t know.”

“I would have beaten the crap out of him if Olly let me!”

“I know you would have,” I laughed.

“Seriously. I always knew that Annabelle was a bitch. But why would she do that. She obviously knew that you and Fraser are…were a thing.” I winced slightly when she said ‘were’.

“Hang on, how would she know? Fraser told me she moved schools.”

“She did. Faith’s her best friend,” she said through gritted teeth.

So this is partially Faith’s fault, I thought.

“Anyway I’m going to get ready for bed,” Bex said walking towards the bathroom. There was a knock on the door.

“Hey Shiv, Nate said you were here.”

“Hey Will! Um…Nate?”

“Nathan,” he said from the doorway.

“Oh right…well come in!” He flashed me a smile before sitting on the end of the bed.

“So…” he started. “Olly told me what happened. Are you okay?”

“I guess,” I shrugged.

“He’s an ass.”

“So I’ve been told.” Will opened his arms for a hug and I automatically fell into them.

“I really did miss you Shiv,” he murmured into my hair.

“I missed you too,” I said hugging him tighter.

“Oh um. Am I interrupting something?” Bex asked as she walked back in.

“No,” I replied not making any effort to move away from Will. Why couldn’t all guys be like him?!

My eyes started to tear up again as I thought about what happened tonight.

“What did you do?!” Bex demanded accusingly when my shoulders started to bob up and down from my sobs.

“I didn’t do anything!” Will cried, alarmed at my sudden outburst.

“H-he d-d-didn’t d-do a-anything,” I managed to make out as I pulled away from Will. The door slammed open and a tired looking Olly was stood in the doorway.

“What are you doing in here?!” I had to smile at his dishevelled appearance.

“Umm…Olly,” Bex started.

“What?!” he snapped, running a hand through his already messed up hair.

“Y-you’re only in your boxers…” He looked down slowly.

“Oh crap!” he ran back to his room and Bex started laughing, with tears forming in her eyes. I looked at Will’s face and started laughing at his facial expression.

“I think I’ve been scarred for life,” he said. Olly came back with jeans on but still no shirt. That shut Bex up. She just stared at his chest. Not that I can blame her, he was actually pretty hot.

“You like what you see?” he asked her with a smirk on his face.

“S-shut up!” she stammered, her cheeks turning red.

“Whatever you want, babe.” He winked at her and her cheeks darkened more.

“Hey, leave her alone Olly,” Will said punching his arm lightly.

Downstairs we could all hear someone outside yelling and hitting the door.

“Damn,” he muttered.

“Just wait until Nathan gets to the door,” Will added. Olly chuckled darkly and counted down from 5 as Fraser continued attacking the door.

“WHAT?!” Nathan roared. We all burst into laughter. “WHAT IS SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE TO DESTROY MY FRONT DOOR?!”

“Where’s Siobhan?” Olly placed one finger over his lips to make us be quiet as he led us to the top of the stairs, where we could watch Fraser and Nathan talk…or…yell.

“I think you’ll find that’s none of your business.”

“She’s my girlfriend. It’s my business.” I drew in a sharp breath.

“Stay here,” Olly whispered in my ear.

“Wait no!” I whisper yelled after him, leaning to try and grab him before he could walk downstairs. Will grabbed me from behind round the waist to stop me. I growled under my breath quietly.

“Fraser what are you doing here?” Olly asked when he got to the bottom of the stairs.

Fraser looked him up and down.

“You slept with her didn’t you,” he spat out bitterly.

“What no?! Why would you say that?”

“Look at you! Your half dressed, your hair is all messed up and look how long it took you to answer the door! You never make me wait that long before.”

“A-are you feeling alright?”

“I’m fine! Why are you sleeping with my girlfriend? Where is she?!” Olly opened his mouth to say something but I spoke before he could.

She is right here,” I said with more confidence than I felt.

“Ah Shiv!” he said looking up at me. Olly and Nathan both shot me warning glances that I ignored as I made my way down the stairs.

“What are you doing here, Fraser?” I asked.

“I came here for you, Siobhan.”

“Because I love you.” I flinched and stumbled back into Will.

“N-no you don’t. Stop saying that,” I stuttered.

“You’re drunk Fraser,” Nathan said coldly. “Go home.”

“But Sh-.”

“Go. Home.” Fraser looked at me pleadingly one last time but I just shook my head and avoided eye contact. Nathan slammed the door and started muttering things under his breath as he stormed into the front room. Will said goodnight then disappeared to his room. Olly followed Nathan into the front room leaving me and Bex in the hallway.

“Come on,” she said quietly tugging my arm. “Don’t let him get to you.” Easier said than done, I thought. I nodded and followed her back up the stairs. “Just think! Tomorrow we’ll be at the beach! Lots of hot guys,” she continued, bumping her hip with mine. I had to laugh at her attitude. She winked at me and then hopped into her bed. Maybe tomorrow won’t be so bad…
