My Little Black Book

Everyone's got a story to tell...but not everyone's got someone to share it with.

6. Eyes So Black

Wandering minds

Bring about random finds

Unanticipated memories

Unexpected discoveries

Straying thoughts

They always come in all sorts

Irreminiscent times

Irrelevant rhymes

Heartwrenching hopes

Make you tumble down the slopes

Growling hounds

Insurmountable mounds

I had them all

For more, I could beg, I could crawl

Innocent addiction

Hiding evil intention

Naked under three layers of clothes

Sweating as the icy wind blows

Smiling when tears should have been blinked away

Wearing sunglasses as the sky turns gray

That other part of me

I hide behind my back

It scares even me

I've never seen eyes so black
